Truly awful in every sense of the word. I dread the days where I must make my way to this God-forsaken facility. During the many instances I have visited this post office, nearly every time has been a truly horrid experience. The staff are rude, pretentious, lethargic, and utterly incompetent. On several occasions, supervisors have assured me my packages would be waiting at the office at a particular time, yet upon my arrival I found that their promises turned out to be lies. As I am a working adult, this flagrant disregard for honesty not only wastes my time and elevates my blood pressure, but also directly affects my bottom line. It ALWAYS takes AT LEAST 30 min. to make it through the queue to the counter, with an upper limit of aprox. 60 min. Furthermore, yesterday I was verbally threatened and kicked out of the office for merely expressing my supreme dissatisfaction in their woefully inadequate customer service. Although, to be fair the Package Manager, Mr. Joel and one Customer Service Rep. Ms. Pamela have defied the aforementioned. These two employees deserve top marks in all categories. They kind, courteous, and always willing to assist me in any way they can, even if it means going above and beyond their expected duties. In my opinion, they should both be elevated to a position far above their current titles. They are remarkable and literally the only positive part of my experience dealing with Airport Road. In summation, avoid this location at all costs. I cannot believe my tax dollars are being used to fund such an inane bunch of imbeciles. Replace the supervisors, fire all current tellers, clean the store up, and elevate the two aforementioned fully-competent and immensely friendly employees to a position fitting of their outstanding efforts. Then, perhaps West Chester will finally have a Post Office capable of properly serving the citizens who pay for it, -Conner Balickie

I was warned when I moved here to not join this post, but being so close to my home/work and daycare I pass everyday, I joined. OMG. I must admit, it it worse than Dept. of Motor Vehicle. Long lines because the four registers have only ONE person on duty most of the time. They lost my and my clients packages about a dozen times = (not happy clients for me), the lines are about 20-30 minutes on a normal weekday non-lunch hour = (and everyone in line is complaining...I even had a non-postal worker customer in line next to me go "postal" on the manager)....to no avail. In 3 years Ive been here, nothing has changed there and in fact seems worse. The last incident, which inspired me to vent here today...instead of waiting in line for 1/2 hr to mail an envelope, I weighed it on the machine thats provided and put on the appropriate postage. IT CAME BACK TO ME after 2 weeks of being missing.....client not happy - I didnt get paid by client quickly, and I had to resend it with reprinting about $50 in photos for her proposal b/c they rolled it up and rubber-banded it to stick back in my box although their scale weighed it wrong I guess!!!!!!!! Argh. Thanks West Chester PO for making my life a living "H.E.double hockey sticks"...otherwise West Chester is great except for this mostly useless entity on Airport Road. The only reason I stay is b/c all my business cars, letterhead, website etc, will need to be changed......but I think this is the last straw.

WELCOME TO WEST CHESTER! Ill let you tell me if i had a good experience. I ordered sneakers online when i lived in Glen Mills (10 mins away from west chester). They didnt get here when they were supposed to but i forwarded my mail so no problem, right? Well apparently when you forward mail, its only first class mail. All other mail they forward and bill you the difference. So i thought i bought and paid for these sneakers online and West Chester Post Office wants to bill me $5.95 to upgrade to first class service! And lets see if you think this is first class service.... Received in west chester 1/15 @3:47pm, i was contacted after numerous attempts to locate the package on 1/22 @9:30am to be told i owe $5.95 and they will deliver it. Tried to explain to the guy that i was never told i would be charged extra shipping for forwarding the mail. He didnt seem to care. Pay it or they can send the item back to the shipper. So i sent it back. Now we see why the local postal system is falling apart. Bad customer service.

I have utilized this facility since 1986 when we moved here. I have never encountered disgruntled employees, and the number of folks manning the registers at the counter depends on the time of day I arrive. Naturally there were be fewer during lunch hours. These men and woman are on their feet, dealing with all sorts of people, with all sorts of requests, services, and needs. Each individual has been well-versed in the job and willing to discuss any problem I may be having with a package or service. I phone frequently to make inquiries to be better prepared when I physically arrive. I have never worked at the Post Office, nor anyone I know, so I feel free to say: Shame on those who post such negative remarks about these hard-working men and women who strive to be helpful! COULD YOU DO ANY BETTER??? I only wish the facility was nearer; its something of a drive in busy traffic to get there...but a minor issue, indeed.

First off, my mailman who brings mail is great! He looks like a skinny version of Santa Clause; hes super cool and friendly. My complaint is with the company itself and all the issues they continue to have with this place. Missing labels, delayed shipments because of torn labels, and constant trips to the post office to pick my own stuff up. Whats the point of shipping something if I have to travel to a USPS office? Smh. If only Amazon would let me choose my carrier! And then when I show up to pick up my packages, they the front desk clerks give me nasty looks and are obvious that they do not want to go back and find my package -__-

Great service . I went there on Thursday afternoon for my newborns passport and I was out from the post office within 15 mins. Not to mention the representative ensure that she get a good picture of my child. Before going to this post office I read (not so good) reviews about this place but since it was closest one and does not require prior appointment for the passport services plus they have onsite photo facility I decided to go there. I have been to this post office on Saturday too and it gets crowded because of the above reasons (No appointment required for passport services and photo onsite)

Three straight days now, no mail delivery. Granted, Thursday we had a lot of snow, and I wouldnt have asked carriers to risk their safety to deliver in those conditions. Friday, though, the roads were plowed and mail could have been delivered. So, I called them on Friday night, and they assured me that the mail would be delivered on Saturday. Well, guess what -- no mail again on Saturday. Sunday, of course, no delivery anyway. And Monday is a federal holiday (Presidents Day), so this will mean five consecutive days without our mail being delivered.
