I had a great experience this past weekend with Autozone in Dover, DE and its employees. I was attending the races over the weekend at Dover Intl Speedway. When leaving the races Friday evening the battery light in my truck came on. After returning to my campsite I was able to verify with a meter my alternator was bad. I found the Autozone on my phone and saw they opened at 7:30AM on Saturday. Up early I took out my alternator and was at Autozone at 7:15AM. When I walked in I was told they do not open until 7:30AM and that their systems were currently down. While the manager (female, unfortunately I did not get her name) worked with tech support, the other employee, Dutch, was able to test my alternator and verify it was faulty. Dutch was able to get a new one off the shelf and verify with the same tester it was good. He was also able to get me few other items I required to complete the job. With their systems still down they were unable to process my credit card with a swipe. They were able to manually make the sale and took my credit card number the old fashioned way. Both the manager and Dutch were very professional and quite helpful considering the issues they were having. I wanted to make sure they were recognized for being so helpful and helping me out of quite a jam.

I have had such a wonderful experience with the manager {Debbie} in the Dover Del. store. She goes way beyond to help her customers. This is why I have visited the store for all my auto needs over the last 10 or more years. I stopped long ago visiting advance auto, only to keep my business with auto zone.. wouldnt change ! DEBBIE IS AN AWESOME WOMAN ! FINNEY USAF
