My friend and I had manicures and pedicures Easter weekend. Neither technician appeared qualified to be performing these services. They kept fumbling with the nail clippers and emery boards, even dropping the nail clippers several times on the floor! I left with an abrasion on my left ankle from the scrubbing pad and a pinched left thumb where the technician caught some skin in the nail clippers. My friend left with a cut cuticle on her big toe. Once we left and she started walking on it, it began to bleed. She now has a bandage on her foot. Absolutely the worst experience ever at any type of nail salon, hands down. We are waiting to hear back from the owner. I will update this post if and when we do. Stay away from Essencia Salon. 3 weeks have passed. No response from owners. No return phone calls. No return emails. Apparently, the owners care as little as the technicians do about their clients.

Walked in around 1:45 for a mani-Pedi and was told that they closed early on Saturdays but would check to see if someone was available. I was asked to go upstairs. Someone came up looked at my nails and said she was not sure that they could remove the gel nails. I was left standing there...I really felt as if I was being a nuisance which made me very uncomfortable. Needless to say I will not be back there

Everyone working there is so friendly & helpful. Kat is the best eyebrow stylist in the state, I am utterly convinced. Ive tried so many places, and shes the only one that gets them right. Jackie consistently does an amazing job on my hair and offers great advice to keep it looking its best. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for Hockessin. Cannot recommend enough!

Ashley H cuts my hair here--shes brilliant! Im middle-aged, but dont like my hair to look stuck in the past. Ashley gets it. She listens and interprets so well! And, wow does she know how to do color! Also, the salon is relaxed and friendly.
