I havent had the best luck in Newark, but this has to be the worst experience I have had by far. I had to come back in and have them fix the mess that Tai created. I didnt ask for anything fancy, a 1.5 on the sides and barely long enough to gel on top, in other words the classic dude haircut nowadays (aka the ivy league style haircut). Tai did not blend anything so there were visible lines in my hair of where she "tried" to fade. She actually let me walk out of the store looking like this and didnt even show me the back. After one of my friends pointed it out to me I came back in and got a different hair dresser named Kelly (shes the reason this gets more than one star). She did the best she could to fix Tais absolute catastrophe of a hair cut, which ended up looking acceptable. Would I return? Not even if you paid me... TLDR: Worst haircut experience of my life. Go elsewhere.

Maybe if the one stylist didnt have sticky fingers and return what she kept of mine instead of lying that she doesnt have it...i might go back...but naw- not when this place employed thief......and you have a two year son. How disgustingly greedy of you. And you wrecked my hair on top of it! Go back to school! If i tell u its too short....its too short!!

Ive always received great cuts from all the stylists at the Hair Cuttery. Ive been a customer of this chain for 17 years and wouldnt go anywhere else. If you want an extra-special style, request Dorothy.
