Porter - seemed ok first but there were so many things that were not explained to me and ended up paying 2000 dollars more than I know the price of my car was. Do not let them fool you by talking about only how much you are paying per month. The man who was handling the transaction told me something and cheated me and wrote 2000 dollars more on the paper. I did not off course read all those pages that are difficult to see with tinny fonts. You would think a big car dealer like Porter would be honest for 2000 dollars and when he was showing me the places I had to sign I did not question anything. I signed. And found out after some months. I went back to ask about it. I was told it was my mistake to sign without reading. Any way that is my mistake. I shoud not have trusted them. Moreover, the sells man promised me to get me a second car key and I trusted him at the time. I called repeatedly to ask for the key, however, he didnt care at all. He already got his money. Im thinking of buying another car but I am not thinking of porter again. I was disappointed especially because of the broken promise by that sells man. Learn from me. I am sure there are other trustworthy dealers. I am going to another one for another car. I am sure I will have a better experience.

I would give Porter no stars if possible. I was a customer of their body shop, Ford store, and Infiniti store for service work. I have been disappointed each time. My truck came out of the body shop with new damage, they eventually owned up and fixed the damage they caused but gave me a hard time about it, and I had to come back twice. I had my Mustang serviced at the ford store, i heard and watched them abuse the car in the parking lot. I purposely waited for the car because i did no feel comfortable dropping of a GT500 for service work without being there. Finally called to make an appointment for service work for my Infiniti at the Infiniti store. Called middle of last week requested to drop the car off late in the day and requested a loaner car. Service writer said sure no problem bring it over any day next week. Thought something was wrong when he on took my name and no car info. Sure enough last night i showed up, and no record of the appointment. I hope they sell cars cheap because there service departments are horrible. Will never be a customer, and i dont know how they stay in business.

Brought my car in for repair after an accident. Poor or no communication from the manager handling the repairs. Multiple delays and mis quotes on when car repairs will be finished. Finally they call and the car is ready to pick up. I get there and there is still damage from the original accident apparent on the car. I have to, again, go through the same headache because they didnt do their job. All in all, stay away from getting any kind of repair work done there if you value your sanity.

Absolutely the BEST! If you live in the area or even far away bring your car to these guys because everything here is top notch! Quality work, excellent customer service, timely repair. They kept me informed throughout the whole process, ended up doing perfect job and remained courtious, professional and very nice for the whole duration of the service. Porter Ford Service Center is the worst in customer service and repair of vehicles. I would not trust them anymore. took 5 visits to fix a head light, battery and a sound system issue and they did it on my time. Very poor customer service not to mention that they never checked their work so I had to take my car back multiple times for their lack of follow through.

This place is a joke. Droppes my car off to get a front bumper and it painted.. told me 2 days it took 8. When you call they always have an excuse. 8 days to paint a bumper an install. Avoid at all cost worst dealership in delaware. Newark toyota world is 30 seconds down the road. Take your buisness there. They are awsome

I had a good experience purchasing a car from Porter Used Cars in Newark. They were able to beat the financing offer of my credit union with 1.96% and the car I purchased was delivered in perfect shape clean and gassed up ready to go. I would recommend doing business with them.

Very helpful staff and management! Drove from NJ to buy a F-150 and it was late they stayed and made sure everything was right and sure enough I drove the used but very nice F-150 home!
