Simply a terrible post office. The last time I went it was to pick up a package that hadnt been delivered. They told me the package had been delivered. When I showed them the slip they said it might be out on the truck. I asked them to check. Someone went back and looked for it. They were gone a couple of seconds and told me it wasnt there. I asked for someone else to go back and look and that person finally found it. Since moving to the jurisdiction so many of my packages have been marked and delivered with a signature that Amazon doesnt believe me anymore when I tell them a package hasnt arrived. There have been times where Ive been out of state and still the post office insists that I signed for a package, which is obviously impossible. I have my own fedex account number now and whenever something is being sent to me that I actually want to get I have the sender use my fedex account number just so it doesnt fall into the hands of the Newark postal service. I regularly get mail for people on the other side of town. Not long ago I received somebodys insurance claim information that was mailed from the other side of town to Texas. Texas! And somehow I still ended up with it. This post office is unreal.

Update:. After arriving at the office and speaking with the manager, I discovered that my package was out for delivery again. I did eventually receive the package later that night, but still have received no communication as to why no notice was originally left. This is a problem. I have increased to 2 stars due to managers timely action. For 5 months since my arrival to the area, I have had little to no issue with the post office. However, recently, our mail has been crushed into our (admittedly slim) appartment mailbox in a manner that is plainly unnecessary. I have left notes requesting care be taken without response. And today, I expected a package arrival to facilitate our AC installation. I stayed home all day waiting and no one arrived. When looking up the tracking #, the delivery was listed as "attempted". I checked the door and the box for some sort of attempt notice. None was found. Its possible that someone very faintly knocked on the door (Im hard of hearing), but the complete lack of a notice leads me to believe that no attempt was made and that this USPS office deserves no more than one star. Good day.

I have so many problems with mail delivery and or pick up at the post office. In my apartment mail goes to the wrong mail box or even wrong building all the time. While away i put my mail on hold at the office, usually they only hold it after the mail box is full, even though i save the emails from the post office when my mail will be held and start again. my last trip, no mail was held at all, letters and magazines were torn as they were stuffed into the small mail box for over a week, new mail just stuffed in after it. When i spoke to a supervisor ( the original clerk just stood at his post listening and smirking, not taking other customers ) i was told she would investigate and call me, 2 weeks later and no call or word from the post office. Today i get a delivery notice with no name on it, and the wrong apartment building on the notice. when i call the post office to confirm its mine and make sure not to waste a trip to town, the phone is constantly busy, like they turn the phone off. I wonder if a letter to the local post master would help, i doubt it.

I was alerted by Amazon yesterday that my package had arrived and to check my mailbox. After searching in the mailbox, around my front door, garage door, and back door, I checked the USPS website to see if they had dropped it off, which in fact they had, only to take it back to the post office because somehow it could not be delivered with that address...? So I called Amazon customer service because thats who I could reach on a Sunday, and the woman there got a hold of the post office. Apparently the person delivering my package put it in my mailbox and sent in the notification that it was delivered, and then thought that the address was wrong. So here I am at 7:30 in the morning, repeatedly calling their office number, as well as the office over on main street to see if they will hold the package for me and all I keep getting is a busy number. Dreading going in there later today before my class which I need this book for.

I agree with everyone else the staff is rude and unprofessional. I got my passport here but with great difficulty and many attempts. I continuesly have problems with my mail delivery from them. Just yesterday I received registered mail notification saying its a second attempt to deliver but I never received first attempt notice. Another day we were at the mailbox waiting to receive a tracked package in which we confirm its delivery. After mailman finished we opened our mailbox and it wasnt delivered. We waited till he was getting ready to leave and we questioned him with our proof. He rummaged through the stuff on his truck and handed us our package, saying "I was about to go back and put this in last". Why would he deliver mail to fifteen buildings and back track to the first one to reopen my mailbox. They have lost several packages of mine too. I always file complaints but no resolution.

This is the worst post office Ive ever been to. Their employees are a joke. I had been trying call and make an appointment to submit my passport application for 2 weeks. The phone was either busy or rang through every day, at all hours. So i decided to stop in. The guy at the counter had this smug look on his face the whole time, and it is definitely employees pleasure to piss you off. He saw my papers and told me I need an apppointment. I politely tried to point out the fact that I cannot make an appoitment if they dont answer the phone. The phone was ringing the whole time we were in there. The guy told me "oh well the girl who answers the phone has been sick so thats probably why." Are you seriously not qualified to answer the phone that is RIGHT BEHIND YOU?! These people do not deserve the jobs they have.

purchased something from sephora, had to return it here through the mail... the first time they said they werent accepting the prepaid postage, and i would have to pay 6$ (said nothing about how the box was packaged or taped).... left that day to call sephora to see why they were not accepting the postage, to see if i was missing something.... went back a second time and the woman said i didnt have the right tape for the box, but i could purchase it there for 4$.....went back a THIRD time and the woman just took my box, without me having to pay for anything. three weeks later sephora has still not received my package for return, it is a 300$ item in that box.....not really sure how to go about it. the employees there are so unprofessional and clearly not trained.
