This was the worst experience that I have had at a salon period. I went there for a deep condition treatment, something I have had in the past and have loved the experience. The deep conditioner was $22 dollars and so Im expecting a pretty nice treatment for the price, but I was sorely mistaken. I was a walk in at the salon and I asked if they would have time to take me in and I told them what I wanted, they were able to take me back immediately due to just wanting a treatment. When Im back there I asked if she was going to blow dry after and she said that I would have to make an appointment for a shampoo and blow dry......but they had to shampoo my hair regardless with the deep conditioner but I didnt protest because Im not much for arguing services. She places the deep conditioner on my hair and then makes me sit awkwardly in the shampoo seat for 10mins, didnt even offer to have me sit under a blower which helps the treatment work into my hair better. Then after 10 minutes I get a rinse and a half hearted towel dry....she wasnt even going to brush my hair out, I had to ask her. I paid 22 dollars for something that I could have done in the shower and I was there for a solid 15 minutes....Just a forewarning to anyone who goes in there, expect to pay a lot for halfassed services.

3/14/09 Have to give credit card in advance to make appointment, since they charge if you miss. Showed up 5 minutes early, checked in with receptionist who told Sue. 40 minutes later.... Sue is still busy with last customer because the hair was longer then expected. So what is the appointment for???? Your hair doctors time is so valuable you will charge me the entire amount if Im late or dont show? You waste my time, then what? Lawsuit and injunction for breach of contract? My advice, leave before it gets worse, for example people rushing other appointments or to go home. Sounded pretty rehersed to me, and I wonder just how much longer hair is that takes more then 2 appointments to cut? Shameful. Especially in this economy. Blatently shameful. Ths is a capitolist society. Each dollar you spend is a vote. Stop spending your money where you get bad service. Especially in this economy why put up with poor service? Spend your money where you get good service and tip well, people are working for a living. Otherwise no need to complain, just dont spend your money. Educate yourself and your friends. You are the consumer. There is no business without your money.

Terrible experience at Bang Salon- Verizon center. Went in for 3/4 highlights expecting to walk out still a blonde (and showed aa picture of what I wanted as well). Left a brunette. After begging for a corrective color I got in and after paying $77 for purely a dye job (no haircut) that I didnt want, they tried to get me to pay $87 for a corrective color job they messed up in the first place. I have no idea why anyone would be expected to pay for a hair stylist twice in two days when the stylist didnt do what was asked in the first place. If I wanted to pay for a correction I would have gone somewhere else. To top it off, they let the stylist who ruined the job dictate the price of the corrective coloring. Never going to any bang salon again.

First off! Thank you Nakia! Now dont kill me but I did box color black for almost 10 years. I stopped about a year ago since I knew I wanted to eventually go blonde. I was seriously dreading the ackward in between stage you get warned about but she hooked me up! Now, I had to cut off a solid 4 inches of dead ends from all the box coloring but now my hair is SO healthy and this "ackward" stage is amazing. I got color correction (I had like 5 different faded shades of brown), highlights, and low lights. Came out great. Ill be posting a pic in the business picture section. So glad I found my forever go to girl for my hair. I Definitely recommend Nakia if you want it done right and want to look fabulous in the process.

When I booked I literally felt they were doing me a favour. Needed to give a credit card to book... dont take tips on a card... If you are later than 10 mins after dont come. All valid instructions but I didnt like the tone. Then I arrived next morning, 9am appointment for a wash and blowout. I was taken to the back for a shampoo.. no junior in yet so the stylist had to shampoo. She wasnt happy. There was a large pile of towels dumped in the middle of this area and a socket pulled out of the wall. After this I was hoping for a good blowout and maybe even a coffee or water.. no, not to be. In fact this was such a stressful and bad experience that I didnt leave the 15 dollars cash I had taken to tip.

I had some uneven growth as I was growing my hair out so I went in for what I thought was going to be a very quick touch up to fix a few things. Even though I said that up front and was EXACT about what I needed her to do, I still somehow lost two inches of length that I wanted to keep, and she "touched up" parts of my hair that I told her absolutely not to touch. She styled it for me in a way where I didnt notice at all until I got home. I looked like a damn fool for 2 weeks until I went to a place where they actually know how to cut hair. My biggest regret is that I paid $40 to get robbed of 5 months of hair growth when I only went in for a touch up!.

Loved Bang Salon! I went for the first time yesterday -- I was looking for a last minute place to get my hair trimmed that was close to my apartment and luckily they had an opening that day. They definitely have the salon operating like a well-oiled machine. One person washed my hair while the hairdresser was finishing a color for another customer. My hairdresser, Leanne, was super nice and did a great job! Im in the process of growing out my hair, so I was just there for a trim, but the end result was great. The environment of the salon was vibrant and energetic and the staff was super friendly. Will definitely go back!

This was one of the WORST salon experiences ever. The owner was ratchet and hood!! receptionist messed up my appt by slotting me in for 30 mins for a haircut. Took off work& drove from MD for this appt. The Hairstylist gave me the most basic cut and lopped off about 2 inches of hair leaving it wet. The owner offered no apologies, excuses or solutions. She was argumentative and rude, all the while her dog is running around the salon being disruptive to the customers & other stylists. DONT DO IT TO YOURSELF! should never leave a salon/spa feeling worse than when you walked in.

Curly hair? Go no further than Eden. From the way she handles your hair to the way she counsels you about cut and dye, she is an expert. I really, really am glad I found her--no one has handled (literally) the curls in the effective way she does. She scrunches after picking the hair up and letting it fall, letting the curl direct itself. It is the only true way to manage curly hair and most stylists pull too hard, incorporate thinning into the cut to make it more manageable, or give a butchered layer cut. Not Eden. She gets it!
