I have natural light brown hair and I went in to get highlights. Made a 5 oclock appointment and still waited nearly an hour to be seen. Showed my "master stylist" Almelia a photo of what I wanted only for it to turn out completely different. She attempted to give me full highlights which turned out more like an ombrie look. The shade of blonde was awful and not nearly the color I had asked for. Now not only has she wasted 3 hours of my time one day but I had to go back the next day for her to fix it. Never going here again. I guess I shouldnt have expected someone from a place like this to actually be a competent hair stylist. I could have spent $10 at the drugstore and did it myself with what she gave me. If you are planning on getting your hair colored I suggest you NOT go here. I would give this place negative stars if given the option.

Absolutely HATE this place. My wife waited 2 hours for crappy haircut. 2 hours!!! Why doesnt the salon have appt system for everyone!! She shouldnt have to wait 2hrs for a dry haircut. We will never go to this salon again nor will we recommend this place. We live in a Service driven world; this salon clearly has poor management as demonstrated through many customers waiting 2hrs. She had a 30min conversation with one lady. Complete garbage of a salon. She also learned whilst waiting 2hrs, a stylist goes to hibachi yearly, what each stylist was getting from Subway food run and she even learned all of stylist name because she sat there so dang long. Ridiculous and taking money elsewhere.

I just got back from seeing Audrey at this Hair Cuttery. I chose the "City Lights" package which consists of full foils, a shampoo, deep conditioning treatment, cut, and blowout. It was INCREDIBLE! I have never had such an awesome haircut from a Hair Cuttery. The wait was long, but it was totally worth it. My hair is super soft and has tons of body and bounce, my layers are perfect, and my highlights look vibrant and natural. I usually go to high end salons for my hair but WOW I will definatly be going back to see her. I totally reccomend this salon and especially this stylist to everyone in the Waldorf area!

Met a stylist named Vilma at the Hair Cuttery in Waldorf. She took her time with a relaxer, cut, shampoo and roller set. She was so personable, but thorough! Great stylist and I would recommend her to any person with any type of hair. Outstanding and efficient service!!!! I received so many compliments that Im going back so she can highlight my hair. Im not really a person who allows others to provide services to my hair (I do it myself) but now that I have found Vilma, Im going to trust her to manage my style. Yeah! I finally found a stylist that knows what she is doing and has a great personality.

I normally have a good experience at this place but today I went in and waited for almost an hour, which is not a problem for me normally, but a woman walked in and requested one of the stylists. She said she didnt have an appointment and was taken back immediately. She had 3 people in front of her waiting to be taken care of. I found this downright rude so I left and will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Jazmine did an excellent job cutting and styling my hair. I have very thick, curly hair. She was very gentle when washing and detangled it in no time with ease. She was able to blow it out, cut some layers and style in no time. I was very pessimistic about my hair and she reassured me that it wasnt as bad as I thought...staying very positive the entire time.

My hair used to go down to my behind and now because somebody ruined my Haircut i have to cut it atleast 5inches shorter After taking 3inch off already so 8inches! My haircolor wich was Supposed to be ombre and alot brighter Looks the Same as before! $195 for something i hate! Lets see whats Going to happen when im going to get it fixed! Im mad as hell!

My regular stylist left, so I did a walk in. The lady chopped off so much hair, more than 3 inches too much, and did the opposite of what i asked. I requested longer in the front, shorter in the back. Got VERY short in the front, and about 4 inches more than I asked for cut off in the back. TERRIBLE haircut, never again.

Idk... I waited like 2 hours to get a haircut. When I finally got it it was so 90s and not what I asked for. I ask for the same thing every time, at several other places... And never has it looked like this. Now I dont want to cut it again. Too short. Thanks for ruining the next two months for me. NEVER GOING BACK.

Horrible service. Was told wait was 10 min, after 20 min found out I wasnt checked in properly by the stylist. No apology. Waited another 40min while stylists joked around and talked while customers waited. Eventually walked put with several other customers. Waste of time here.

They need to work on their schedule to have enough people available... and I feel that they pick and choose who they will help and how quickly. Too much cackling going on... it is still a place of business. If its busy, be focused and get it done... no one has all day.

Each and every time I go here, I see nobody else put jasmine. She does wonders on my hair, and she takes her and makes sure it is just the way I would want it. I have gone and jasmine wasnt there so I got it done by somebody else, lets just say I wasnt pleased.

Always packed but never really any curteousy to ask if youve been waited on. Usually just let the auto check in or people who walk up front to go first. Always have a hassel getting a military discount
