There are so many other FANTASTIC staffing agencies in the area. If MB staffing still employs Jeffery H., a senior recruit, I would run the other way. He is the reason behind so much chaos in the office. On one occasion He told about the firing of one MBs employees which was totally unprofessional and messy. They have decent contracts with companies but once that assignment is over, youll be lucky to get anther call even if your performance at your previous assignment was PERFECT. I worked along side with other employees who worked with MB and they shared the same if not worst reviews. Jeff promised me a position after my position was "randomly" over w/o any heads up. I havent heard from him since. He is known for that. You cannot have poor character when working in HR. He will be the downfall of the small company. There are so many other staffing agencies that actually care about your job search and stability! :)

I was unemployed for over 6months. I searched earnestly for employment daily and did not receive an offer. My unemployment was soon to run out and a friend of mine recommended MB Staffing. She specifically mentioned "Mr. Jeffrey Hebert". She had never worked for MB Staffing, however it was seconds from her job and she had heard a lot of great things about the company. I immediately applied online and the followed up with a call to make sure it was received. Jeff called me back after reviewing my resume and invited me for an interview. He was very professional. He took the time to match my skills and personality with a great government agency in no time! Its not your typical agency, they offer great benefits, great reputation, treat you with respect and value. I would highly recommend MB Staffing. :-) July 2015.

There were a lot of gay innuendos and undertones during my interview at MB Staffing Services. Questions were asked that made me feel extremely uncomfortable & my request for another interviewer was denied after I expressed my discomfort. The initial level of professionalism that these recruiters seem to display is a mirage. After multiple conversations & face to face meetings its clear that their main goal is purely homosexually driven. Numerous calls with personal invitations to hotels and inappropriate voicemails has forced me to change my number & relocate from the District of Columbia. My recommendation to anyone who is serious about their career is to not work with this company or at least request for a third party to be present during any interviews/meetings.

I applied for a very specific accounting position that I saw on ZipRecruiter. I was invited in for an interview, but I was not properly prepared or informed about the rediculously lengthy three-hour process, which included over an hours worth of paperwork and forms, and additional assessments. I explained to them that I was not there to join their temp database, and that I was there to interview for a specifc job. I was also not told over the phone that I was expected to bring in two forms of ID for the I-9 or a voided check for direct deposit. Why am I doing all this if I am not even guaranteed an interview with the hiring manager for the position I applied for? I should have listened to the negative reviews I read before wasting my time and metro fare.

I recently had an interview at MB Staffing and everybody seems to be very professional. It seems that only one person can talk to you about a possible job opportunity. It seems that a receptionist answers the phone and when customers call, that same recruiter answers all the questions, even if they are in an interview with you. It seems that the rest of the employees are following orders under one dictator and he is very controlling. His name is Jeff. I am wondering if MB Staffing have more than one recruiter. I am also wondering if Jeff is a team player. Did anyone interviewing at this agency have the same or similar experience?

I got a call from mb staffing 3weeks ago and went to the interview last week they asked for my id and ssc card as soon as i walked in the door. I was handed a 55 page application then set up to take a assessment test which all together took about 3hrs. After the assessment test i was told to wait to interview, i waited for about 20mins then was told that the interviwer was called into a meeting and would call me the next day to talk about the next steps in the hiring process, i still have not heard from yet.

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET WITH THIS COMPANY FOR 2 YRS NOW. I SENT JEFF SO MANY RESUMES ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY. I EVEN FAXED OVER RESUMES . I LEFT A FEW AT THE OFFICE. NOW IM BEGINNING TO BELIEVE WHAT THEY SAY WHEN I HEARD IF YOU ARENT A MALE GAY MAN HE MEANING JEFF WILL NOT HIRE YOU !!!! Mb Staffing really has staffing down to a science, Im pleased to say they placed me in one of the best government positions. And I was also selected to go on permanent. Ive been nothing but pleased with Jeffery and the entire staff at Mb Staffing. Although Im very pleased that I was selected for a full time position, I will be sad I will no longer be with the company also. Its a bittersweet moment. Just pure professionalism!

MB Staffing is the best staffing agency in DC. The staff is friendly and professional and worked to get me temporary assignments when I needed them as well as kept me in mind for long-term jobs. Thanks to MB, I just got a full-time offer at my current assignment. I always tell friends and strangers alike to send their resume if they are looking for employement in the DC area.

I HAVE WORKED WITH MB STAFFING AND LET ME TELL YOU, ITS NO FUN. THEY ARE FULL OF NASTY WORKERS IN THEIR OFFICE, AND THEY NEVER PAY ON TIME! I called Mb Staffing repeatedly regarding receipt of my resume. It is correct that only one recruiter is available to assist with inquiries regarding assignments. And Jeffery, is controlling and curt. I have moved on with another agency, a more professional agency and will begin a permanent position next week. The negative reviews cannot be ignored.
