This place was horrible. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I took my car in to get cleaned and the machine ripped the front license plate off of the bumper leaving 2-3 inch tears in the metal. First off let me say, that I was upset about the damage, but would have moved on without an issue if the manager or owner had shown any type of concern or at the very least been polite. Honestly a five dollar coupon or an apology was really all I was looking for to get past the shock of my damaged bumper and detached license plate. I was instead met with hostility and rudeness. The manager at first tried to convince me the tears were already there. Then once the owner got there he blamed me for the damage since my car has the plastic plate from the dealer under my license. Since Ive had that plate on since I bought the car and have taken it to numerous car washes before without a problem, this argument doesnt really hold up. You can tell the owner has bad attitude without even meeting him by the snarky comments on all the signs that are humorous, but thinly veiled bad attitude and rude disposition. Not to mention all his dismissive replies to his yelp comments. Also to comment on the cleanliness of the car, I would like to say that my car was at the most rinsed off. There was trash left in the interior of the car after the vacuum and spots still speckled on the exterior. The only reason why this place has business is because of the lack of competition, not because its high quality or good customer service. I would greatly recommend making the trip to another facility because this place does not do a good job at cleaning your vehicle and when they damage it they deny all responsibility and berate their customers. Sorry Tim, baby, but welcome to the modern age where if you are a jerk your customers can let the community know through many avenues.

I just left there and bought the works. Its my second time going. I probably shouldnt have gone 10 minutes before they were closing but anyway, I did. When I walked out to my car, the driver side door was open and I was surprised to see that no one had bothered wiping it down. it was dirty, had foot scuff marks all over it and some other white stain-it was dirty just as I had given it to them. I asked them to come and clean it and they did. They were walking away and I opened the passenger side door to find the same untreated space. And again, I asked them to clean it and they did. I guess my point is, what should I expect for $32? These seemed like obvious things to clean and it really disappointed me that it didnt even seem to cross their mind to do that. I get that not every nook and cranny can be perfectly cleaned but this definitely showed a lack of interest in doing as thorough a job as possible. Even though its close to my house, I am not sure Ill go back. I expect more for $32!

We got "the works" in preparation of selling our 2008 Honda CRV. They did not vacuum thoroughly so I had them do it again. While pulling out the owner (Tim Temple) backed right into us in his Jeep! We had stopped and laid on the horn, but he just kept coming back! He was nice and helped us buffing out some spots but he would not give us his insurance information or gave us some otherwise shady advice. While the damage was minimal, I would not trust giving this business too much of my money again - if you are looking for just a cheap car wash ($15) this maybe the place for you...just be careful of a shady owner backing out! :)

I have to chime in because we made an appointment here and I nearly canceled it based on some of these reviews. I didnt however, and Im very happy with the detailing job Splash did. Its a family car and this is the only time in its 7-year life, weve had it detailed. The results are excellent. The location and staff arent glamorous, but they did what they said they would when they said they would. Maybe staff has changed since some of these other folks had their bad experiences, but I would definitely use them again.

$23 for the wash plus "dressing" package. Pros - Fast service. Convenient location. Cons - Value (quality of wipe down, vacuum, etc.) not equal to cost. Specific issues were the lack of wipe down of the door jambs (had to make them go back and redo) and the interior vaccuum missed several areas in the back seat (didnt catch it before I left). Positive was that it only took about 15 mins (Maybe if they went slower they would have done the things they missed and I would be complaing about the speed?)

I dont think people comment on a simple car wash so I decided to break with custom and see what was out there on this place to which I have been coming for about five years. It is ONLY a car wash and detail center and as they go, it is the best to which I have been. Apparently the cops, taxis, and limousines agree as they are omnipresent. My Jaguar has been super clean after being washed at Splash and I revel in its being there as car washes are scarce to find and this one is as good as it gets.

I had the "works" level car wash. What a waste of money. The windows were left smudgy and spotty, the hood of the car still had visible dirt, and the wheels were left with considerable grime. They were supposed to vacuum the trunk, but they did not. I understand that it was really cold outside, and perhaps those conditions made the workers care a little less about the job. But still, I paid good money. If they cant operate under those conditions, they should close shop for the day. Buyer beware.

Take it for what its worth. Its a pretty decent wash, with a rain warranty and courteous service if youre not a prick. Never had a bad experience in the 7 years Ive been getting my vehicles washed/detailed at this place. The wash prices are very high, but that is probably more of a reflection of the taxes they have to pay to operate at this location. Definitely worth a try.

Go here all the time. One of the best full service car washes in DC. Easy to get to. No idea what the other reviewer is talking about. You watch your car go in one end on tracks and watch it come out the other end. No way it can hit anything. I really like the fact they hand dry it and make sure everything is right and you are happy before you leave.

I regret that I did not read the Yelp page for this car "wash" before going. Not only are there more negative reviews than positive, but the owner seems to put more effort into defending his terrible service than he does the quality of his business. Stay away from this car wash. They spray some water on your car and laugh all the way to the bank.

This was THE worst car wash I have ever had. I would have gotten it cleaner if I had sprayed it with a hose for 2 minutes. Worse, after I got home, I noticed the bumper was rubbed and had white paint on it. I am pretty certain this happened at this place, someone backed it up and scraped a pole. You couldnt pay me to go back to this place.
