I had my second visit to Gulf Auto Clinic last week and again received the best service of any repair shop I have ever used. I called on the spur of the moment to see if they could fit me in, hoping for service in the same week. Absolutely surprised again when they offered to get me in the very next morning at 9:00 a.m. Ive never used an independent shop like Gulf Auto Clinic, Ive always used my dealer. This experience has changed my mind on where I will take my cars from now on. As a woman consumer of auto services, I was never sure of whether Im being told the truth when having my car serviced or not, but when Terry and David actually took me into the shop to show me what they saw and what they were going to repair, I was sold. No pressure, no scare tactics, just great honest service at a great price. I could not be happier. I got an email with the diagnostic report from my car including pictures of what they were going to be working on before they started the work. I had their shuttle at my disposal. You cant get this kind of treatment from your local dealer. These guys are high-tech, the mechanics are walking around with an iPad. You just have to go there to experience this for yourself.

Dedicated Professionals - - I was an ASE certified Master Auto Technician and automotive service manager for 15 years before earning an engineering degree and changing careers. Whereas I used to do or oversee all of my own automotive service, I do relatively little of my own work now. Since about 2002, I have relied on Pat Roberts and Gulf Auto Clinic exclusively to service my familys cars. Gulf Auto Clinic has well-trained and experienced staff members and maintains up-to-date tools, training and shop resources, as evidenced by its AAA approval. When it comes to automotive maintenance, I do not shop here and there for the latest deal on individual services that leave gaps in the overall maintenance of my vehicles. I look for a solid professional relationship with an organization able to deliver competent, reliable and courteous service over the long run. Gulf Auto Clinic provides me with the service I expect in a timely manner at a fair price, backed up by a written guarantee and with a positive spirit that proves their effort is sincere.

PROS: I like their honesty and knowledge. I have had several repairs done and been very satisfied. I know when I am being mislead and that has never once happened. They stand by their quote or explain why they cant...before they exceed it! In fact they found issues that they suggested werent worth fixing! I have recommended them to family members and others who have been similarly pleased. Angies list gives them a-well-deserved "A" CONS: They can be unyielding about their policies. For example, I dont like that they insist upon seeing a vehicle before they will even give me a rough approximation (SWAG) of a repair cost. Id give them 5 stars if they were a little more user-friendly on this.

Awesome customer service. Free snacks in the lobby. Drove me home. My car was D-E-D dead and they wrote out the names and numbers for a list of salvage places Who would pick it up and pay ME for the car. Allowed me to leave my car on their lot until I could schedule salvage to pick it up. Offered to inspect any used car I might be thinking of buying to replace my dead one and give me a report and photos. All of this was done completely free of charge and with a smile. I will be making sure all my family and friends take their cars here to be serviced. Its a little off the beaten path but should not be such a secret!

You couldnt ask for better customer service. They detail your car when they are done. You can make use of the their pickup and drop off services. No high pressure sales tactics. I bring my entire fleet to them for maintenance and repairs when needed. The shop and the waiting room both are clean and void of the scummy feeling you get at some shops. They give a very clear print out of all work and parts installed. Terry will bend over to help you whatever way he can. They will help you get the car towed also if you are broken down. I cant say enough good about these guys. I highly recommend them to everybody.

I came by early this morning as my oil light was on but they couldnt get me in until the afternoon. Before left, made sure I was safe to drive to my afternoon appointments and I made plans to return later in the day. This shop is really clean, the staff are extraordinary, and the service is fast! There is no place that can compare with the professionalism you can find here. They do work on all cars, domestic and foreign, and even have a specialist for diesel. Needless to say, we will be making this our go-to shop for my new hybrid and my husbands F-250. Big thanks to Pat, Terry, and David for taking care of me today!

I have never received a document with a review and photos of issues found with my vehicle before I went to Gulf Auto Clinic. They send you a document that gives you a clear outline of what is going on with your vehicle as well as suggested repairs and pricing. Not only are they thorough but they are honest and will not perform any part of a scheduled maintenance that is not necessary even if it is the recommended time for the service. They are polite, courteous and genuinely nice people. They ask a fair price for good work. I highly recommend them for service on any type of vehicle, domestic or foreign.

As a woman its always nerve wracking when something goes wrong with your car because you can always be scared into fixing things that may not really need fixing - it happens ! But when I take my car to Terry at Gulf Auto I get a full explanation and am shown in detail anything that needs attention, am given a detailed estimate and the option to have any essential repairs taken care of right on the spot - I trust him to be fair and honest and highly recommend taking all your vehicles to Gulf Auto.

I tried to replace a head lamp bulb in my GLK350 and got about half way thru it before I realized I was in over my head. I called Terry and he said I could swing by and he would have a tech look at it. David went to work and fixed it with no problem. I was prepared to pay and Terry said all it would cost was a hand shake! They have a customer for life. I have also used them in the past for my regular service schedule and they are honest with very fair pricing. I highly recommend their shop!

Gulf Auto is by far the most superior auto repair shop in Bradenton, FL. Their attentiveness to detail, knowledge, and quality customer service is second to none. I always bring my vehicles in to Gulf Auto when anything is wrong or for service. If I need to be somewhere and I dont have a ride they offer complimentary shuttle service which is an excellent amenity! I always recommend this high quality establishment to anyone looking for auto repair or service for their vehicles.
