I had an issue with their service, and they refused to correct or compensate me for it. Pull up a chair, this is a long one.... I made an appointment at Integrity Auto to get tires mounted and balanced on my Mitsubishi Eclipse because they have the cheapest price in town. Great! I dropped the car off in the morning, and picked it up that afternoon. I discovered the rims were damaged during the process. Not cool! I went back to show the owner of Integrity the gouges and scratches. He assured me several times that the machine he uses does not contact the rim to mount and dismount tires. However, he agreed to make another appointment to take the wheels off and investigate. Great! When I brought the car back we discovered it WAS the tire machine that gouged and scratched the rims. The owner, tire machine operator, and myself all saw it happen and agreed that when the rim was placed back on the tire machine during our investigation, through unforeseen circumstances from getting the old low profile tires off the rims, the machine damaged my rims. Not Great. The owner Jim said “let me know what you want us to do.” Great! I thought it over, and I said, "I’d like $200, to get another set of wheels set up, so I could get the damaged rims repaired when I was able, and not disrupt my daily transportation". Since I didn’t want to have my car stuck in the garage and have to arrange for other means of transportation again. This request was declined. I had to bring the car back to the shop where Jim tried to buff the gouges out of the rims. The gouges were too deep, and still very noticeable. Not great. I’ve had to make 4 trips to the shop to try and reach a satisfactory solution. In the end, the owner refused to compensate me for the damaged rims, or my time and frustration of dealing with this situation. He even pointed at me saying I should have known this could happen, and that he isn’t responsible. Im very dissatisfied by this point. I don’t care if you, your machine, or a one armed purple ape that broke into your shop and knocked over a shelf causes damage to my car. If damage happens while my property is in your care, I’d expect you to be willing to take responsibility, and eagerly seek a positive solution. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this shop. Especially if you have custom rims or low profile tires, and if you encounter problems with the service provided by Integrity, I’m doubtful they’ll treat the customer right. That’s my experience with Integrity Auto Repair on Harcourt rd in Mt Vernon Ohio. Attached are photos of the damage to my rims after they were "buffed" by Integrity, and they felt I should be happy with the results. Im not.

Had a bent right, rear axle on my Tahoe and the whole rear-end was under warranty from Las Vegas. Jim tried to work with the parts company out of Vegas, but they were being difficult. They wanted him to remove the whole rear-end and pay for a new one to have them send another one to Ohio. Jim saved me a ton on labor by arguing that they only needed an axle replaced. He really tried to straighten it out when it really wasnt his problem. My Tahoe was at his shop for over a month (no charge) before we gave up on that company to remedy their faulty part and he had it fixed in a day. I came back up from NC, picked it up, and Im back on the road with the vehicle driving smoothly again. Great work, and the best customer service Ive dealt with at a mechanic shop...EVER. He was always available when I called and he always kept me in the loop. Very professional. 6 stars.

Two thumbs up! I could not be happier with the service I received! Im the kind of person that does most of my own work, but due to time and temperature, I needed to find a reliable shop here in Knox County to repair a broken CV axle on an older BMW (my daughters ride to work and school). I looked around online and read all the reviews. Integrity had good online reviews and I thought I would give them a shot. Jims assessment was honest and straight-forward and he then repaired the car in record time. I am confident I will seek out Integrity Auto Repair first when I need anything automotive in the future. I would send my mother and grandmother there without any reservations. If there was a 6th star on this rating, I would click it!

I have an older car and whenever it needs repaired, I go to Integrity. I have always been impressed with their service. Jim is the most efficient and honest mechanic I have ever met. His repairs are reasonably-priced (usually cheaper than other mechanics Ive used), he works quickly, and he will tell you whether a repair is worth the cost or not, even if it means he wont be paid for the repair work. I recommend him to anyone I know who lives in or near Mount Vernon, as a trustworthy and reputable mechanic is hard to find!

Took my car in and seriously expected to pay into the thousands for fixing the problem I was dealing with on my BMW. Jim was AWESOME!!! And if anyone has an import, they know it is ridiculously expensive to have anything fixed on them. Jim fixed my car and, without going into numbers, he saves me a TON of money. I could hug him. I will be telling others for sure!!!! Already did actually! Dont hesitate to call them if you have a problem with your vehicle.

Integrity was recommended to us by a friend who is retired from the car sales business; he described Jim as a very good, solid mechanic who is honest and dependable. very dishonest charges people for parts that were never put on. will lie to your face if the truth would save his life he wouldnt be honest and has no idea what integrity stands for or means and very rarely gets a car fixed right the first time then lies about what was wrong with car to begin with
