Brought my car in for some muffler work around 11:30. Was told it would be done by 1:45. Around 1:00 I am told that the work wont be started until 3:00. No apologies given, reason was that they realized that they needed to finish another job first because that person had an appointment. Would have been nice to know at 11:30! At 3:00 Im told work wont start for another 45 minutes. Job wasnt complete until 5:30 when the place closed. The work was overpriced too. The front desk folks didnt apologize for the delays, didnt thank me for the business, and were generally unprofessional. I sat in the office for 5 hours and no one thought to apologize for the inconvenience. Especially lacking in the customer service department was Peter, who seemed to be a mechanic filling in for the front desk. Ill never go back, obviously, and Id recommend the same to everyone else.

Went in with an ignition issue on my 1988 F150 and what I liked best about this place was that the owner was there receiving customers personally. He treated everyone with equal respect and was quite adept at handling several folks at a time. He gave me a tour of his shop, offered me a cup of coffee and had my starter replaced in no time. This is a new shop serving the burgeoning downtown market and I think the customer service and pricing is unmatched. The shop is easy to access on Patton Avenue just across from the Federal Building. If you work downtown, you could drop your car here for the day and just walk to pick it up in the afternoon. Im going back, for sure. You should give these guys a try.

I will start by acknowledging the fact that this place does a pretty fair job of fixing vehicles despite their outrageous labor charges. When it comes to their people skills, a crash course in mannerisms and sarcasm would benefit this pace greatly. When I soak of this place Im referring to the manager who walked around with a very condescending demeanor towards some of the customers. This made the experience less than pleasant to say the least and I wouldnt suggest this place to anyone that lacks the extra time to wait because this only makes the owner feel the need to be even more sacastic and demeaning towards you.

They offer vets a free basic oil change on veterans day.... I was over an hour away at the NC/TN state line....go ahead and look on google, this Asheville location was the closest on on my way back to NC/SC Stateline on I-26. They close at 5:30 and I got there to the desk at 4:35. They told me they were done and not doing anymore today. Im writing this, still sitting in their parking lot at 4:48 pm...staring at 3 bays....one empty.

Took my car for a standard oil change to this Meineke in downtown Asheville at the beginning of November. The oil change was fine and a fair price, but the mechanic also quoted a very high price for new break pads that he said I needed as soon as possible.. Recently took my car to another mechanic who said this Meineke was trying to rip me off as I had assumed. Break pads are almost like new... Dont trust these mechanics.

In and out in one day! I took my 89 Volvo to get some brake work done,(rotors pads master cylinder)the day before a holiday(July 4). All bays were full and there were two other people dropping off. Despite this, they still had me taken care of by the end of the day. They are a full service shop that is happy to work on my Old Brick. And theyre fast. That will keep me coming back.

My sister went in today for her vehicle inspection, and upon entering the shop and stating her appointment details, was told "we dont do that anymore" and then the clerk walked away, and didnt return for close to a minute, when he responded, "I was just kidding". Meineke, please tell your employees to leave the poor jokes at home and to focus on providing your services.

They can be a bit pricey, and you need to make sure you have plenty of time set aside (they can be a bit slow to finish car projects), but the exhaust work done here is outstanding. Seamless, smooth welds... you can tell the guy really takes his time. I get all my exhaust work done here... easily one of the best exhaust shops in Asheville.

Woman at the front desk was not very helpful. She would not give me a quote for front brakes and rotors, without spending $29.99 for an inspection, even after the mechanic asked her to provide me a quote. Then she made me wait an hour and half, before I finally had to leave. I never got my quote. A dissappointing experience.

Call for a price check on a break service. Told the man what make model and what I needed, after 15 Minutes of him asking no relatable questions and wanting to know every other qoute I had received, he still had not given me the price quote I had ask for 15 minutes earlier. Do not waste your time.

Our muffler went out while on a trip. Nowhere else was open, since it was a Saturday. We called and they immediately greeted us nicely, showed us exactly what was wrong, fixed it in less than an hour, and let us keep our car in their lot so we could park for free and enjoy ourselves downtown.

The guy behind the counter was very friendly! I walked in for an oil change and was out pretty quickly. I had just purchased a new air filter and was going to change it myself, but they offered to replace it for me, which was great! Fast, friendly service. Will be back. Highly recommend.

I thought the guys that worked here were very nice and helpful. My oil change and car inspection was a reasonable price compared to the place I used to go back in Wilmington. And the work on my car was done within about 35-45 minutes. Great job!
