I was in the restaurant business for over 13+ years and have worked at pretty much every type of establishment known to the industry. Their large steak and cheese costs 10.00, theyre stingy with their meat, totally not worth 10.00! And they steam their steak, in all my years I have never seen a place steam steak. I will not be wasting any more of my money on this place, truly a joke. Tasted okay, mediocre at best.

I grew up around this firehouse and frankly, I love it. This is a great place and the employees there really make you feel welcome and invited. Every time I go there the employees are smiling and ready to take my order. Wait time is minimal for a restaurant that steams your food, as opposed to putting it in a microwave, to perfection. This is a great location that is clean, friendly, and inviting.

Went in on Dec. 23 around 1:30 pm. Not busy at all waited 5 mins for someone anyone to take our order. One person was on the phone and the other two behind the counter would just stare at each other. Never once did they ask to take my order. What did they think I was there to study the menu? No I was hungry , so we went to a restaurant up the road that was glad to have us.

Order 2 subs 1# hook and ladder 2# steak sub ..3 chicken salad. They put them in 2 bags.I order all the stuff that go on them on the side. Twice now, I have left with subs that are not what I wanted. How hard is it, when you ask if I want it "fully involved" and I say "no", to not put all of that extra crap on my sub? I am actually making it easier on you by requesting less things on the sub. Seriously, is that hard to understand?

I love eating here. The atmosphere is nice & relaxed. The people are friendly. I sometimes wonder why anyone would eat @ the other sandwich store? Everything here tastes so good & fresh. The 2nd half of the sandwich I had today was still steaming. I love it here!

Took 30 minutes to get my take out sub at 150pm on a weekday. Place is almost empty and there are 4 people working (I think) behind the counter. What takes so long?? Never coming back.

Every time I go there the subs are always made properly. They are fast sub stays good and the store is always clean so I have no complaints
