A bit over priced. The food (beignets app, and cinnamon bun french toast), was good with an appealing presentation, but while the beignets were plentiful for $7.00, the french toast was two small slices for a $10.00 price tag. The waitresses were very attentive, keeping coffee filled, but when 2 of the staff paraded thru with their take out from the Starbucks, across the parking lot, I lost faith that I was making the best choice of where to eat. I also dont like having to yell over the music to talk to my spouse...especially at breakfast. Some shades for the sun that beats in the windows from the east, and a bit less music, or even a different style of music, and wed be back, because the food was good, even if pricy.

I had been to other locations and was very pleased with my experiences there. When this location opened near my house I was pleased to have it nearby. Ive met friends here for Sunday breakfast on a couple of occasions. The group trickles in, which can cause problems at some restaurants. Not here. My wife and I were seated immediately with places set for our soon-to-arrive friends. Everything Ive tried on the menu is wonderful. The sweets on the breakfast appetizer menu are delicious, especially the beignets. I especially like the City Grits with my eggs. They are smokey, cheesy goodness. Even if youre not a grits lover I still recommend you try them at least once.

The menu choices looked awesome, but the menu was all we saw after 45 minutes. Wasnt even crowded and we had to get up twice to remind them we hadnt even been asked what we wanted to drink. Rude servers seemed like they could care less about our wait. It was my wifes 50th birthday breakfast, her choice, but after 45 minutes we had to walk out and go to our regular breakfast place in Safety Harbor, Paradise Restaurant. Avoid the Another Broken Egg Cafe at all costs unless you like looking at menus vs actually eating. Thanks for ruining my wifes special occasion. We wont be back.

This restaurant/cafe is ah-maze-ing! I ordered the Simply Salmon and it was delicious! Every one else at my table ordered brreakfast entrees and they enjoyed it immensely as well. We were seated quickly, and the staff was extremely pleasant. Not only was the food awesome, but our waitress, Carrie, was such a delight! She was the most hospitable, friendliest person who cared for our needs beyond expectation! We tried the beignets and they were "heaven on a plate"! We will definitely be back...and will most certainly ask for Carrie! Thank you, Broken Egg!

have been here several times and loved it. I am revising my review as we dined here today and had service and food issues. they were out of guacamole but didnt tell us until food arrived (would have ordered something else had we known), told them about gluten allergy and asked for corn tortillas but flour trills were delivered and laid on top of food (not good if you have severe allergy). Thankfully my husband tried them before I assumed she had listened to my statements about my allergy.

Hate to leave negative review, but still think it will be helpful for someone. Our breakfast slowly became a lunch. It took 1.5 !!!HOURS!!! Between arriving to cafe at 10:00 and getting our order at 11:30 I had to explain my children why they are still hungry. Should have fed them breakfast at home before leaving. Keep this in mind and call in advance to receive your table before going there. The food and service were ok, but I expected better.

We enjoyed our first time here. The coffee was good and hot. They topped us off when about halfway through so the cup never got cold. We shared the lobster and brie omelette and an entrée size biscuits and gravy. The flavors and presentation were very enjoyable. Its not everyday I would pay $14 for an omelette but its not everyday said omelette has lobster pieces smothering it.

Very bad experience here today, very disappointed. Waited for our food for over 30 mins, never even received silverware or straws & when we asked our waitress said "ok" and then tended to a larger party. Waitress never checked on is once. Food was fine but luke warm like it has been sitting awhile. Experience definitely not worth the money for a "nice" breakfast.

So tried it today.waitress was good and freindly. But the food ummm, $16 for a ice cold omlette and cheap frozen potatoes also ice cold and dry with no seasoning. Everything we both ordered was,ice cold. $45 for breakfest a tad step for cold food with 3 tables in the place.wont rush back to many other options for good food:.

Waited forever just to get our drinks. Waited forever again to have our order taken. Waited longer than forever for the food to arrive. The entire table was disappointed in the quality and taste of the food. Service was exceedingly slow, do not take children there. My granddaughter was starving by the time the food came out.

Stopped in for breakfast. Had the gluten free pancake with a side of sausage. The pancake was good, the sausage a little spicy for my taste. My partner had eggs benedict and he liked them. I got water because the OJ was 3.89/glass but not fresh squeezed. My partner got coffee but was never offered a refill.

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. The food was perpetually 15 minutes from coming out, they charge $3.89 for about 4floz of orange juice, nobody was picking up dirty dishes, and the restaurant was not even half full. The waitress was mildly apologetic though so I guess that makes their incompetence okay.

Stay Away if Gluten-Free My daughter has Celiac and ordered the gluten-free pancakes. She spent the rest of the morning and afternoon throwing up, with stomach inflammation. Some restaurants dont realize (or care) that giving customers gluten can result in throwing up and pain.

Great menu with lots of unique variety and a nod to Southern charm. Service can be a tad slow if they are busy which is often, but it is always friendly and helpful. The silverware is frequently in need of a change out due to dirt but staff is quick to respond.

I first encountered this chain in Pensacola and was charmed by the format and blown away by the food. The Clearwater location is every bit as good! My taste buds are thrilled to have one closer to home, my waistline will just have to deal.

Good food and friendly service. Beautiful mugs and ceramics, and a clean tidy environment. Early is definitely best! Only drawback is very slow or erratic WiFi. Telecommuters take note. Your connection will be iffy at times.

Terrible experience. Unacceptable wait time, extremely slow service. Food was ok but not worth waiting for. If we were told we wouldnt be seated for 45 minutes we would have gone elsewhere and been much happier.

This place was amazing! Great food, similar service and helpful staff. Im writing this review a little after the visit but as far as I can remember the prices werent bad either. Lots of good, classic NOLA food!

My first time here--it was SO GOOD! Beignets were so delicious. French toast was amazing. My boyfriend got the eggs benedict (his favorite) and was very impressed. Look forward to coming here again.
