I called Bob Lees to see if they do free basic vehicle inspections, they said yes, and to bring it down whenever. A few days later, I brought it down, and they said one of the guys called out sick and I need to make an appointment, so I did. A few weeks later, I arrived at my appointment to have my two vehicles checked. I dropped off the first vehicle and they said it should take about 2 hours, and that they would call me 20 minutes in advance so I could walk back from the McDonalds to pick it up when it’s done. After three hours went by, I decided to walk back to my house and drive the second car down for it’s appointment. Three hours & forty minutes after dropping it off, I pull up (after never receiving a single call, or voicemail) and to my surprise my vehicle is already parked on the sidewalk. I receive my quote, and asked why no one called me when it was done. The associate read my phone number back to me and said “we did, no one answered”. all the hours I spent waiting was in an area with full bars of 4G, and not getting a single call, missed call, or voicemail, It became clear that they never bothered calling at all. I asked the associate how long it was ready for, he said “twenty minutes”. I said I have my second vehicle here and ready for it’s appointment, he replied with “We don’t have time to be doing free inspections all day, one of our guys called in sick, would you like to set an appointment to make those repairs?” after leaving, I asked the man working outside across the street how long my vehicle was outside for, he said “It hasn’t been touched since 10:00am, when I got back from break”. This means that instead of the 20 minutes I was told, my vehicle was actually there for an hour and forty minutes before I arrived, without ever being notified. If they are willing to lie about the little things, (that they would look at the 2nd car, that they will call me, how long it’s been done for) then I can only assume they are willing to lie about the big costly things as well.

I got a good feeling when I entered and I was not disappointed. My alternator was not bad, it just had a loose wire. He found it and tightened it at no charge (instead of a $300 alternator replacement). Then he fixed my radio that needed a code (which I had lost). He was very service oriented! I really give this place my highest marks for customer care and support. If you are looking for a place you should really try them out. This is not a fake review, I was not asked to write it, and I was not paid anything for it (except good customer service).

I recently had an issue with another garage trying to charge me an over-inflated price for a basic tuneup. I ended up taking my car to Bob Lees. They allowed me to make an appointment so I could wait for my car. They got me in and out in the time promised within the price range quoted. They only worked on what I requested and didnt try to diagnose anything else on my car and I appreciate that. I have a couple of other routine things that I need done, and I will definitely go back to Bob Lees.

No one enjoys spending money on car repairs, but somehow Dennis and his team make it less painful. Whether its their courteous customer relations or the sense that you arent being gouged, I never walk out of Bob Lees feeling like Id been "had". Ive only had one small issue with work performed on my cars, but it was a very minor thing and was remedied the second I brought my car back. I finally feel I found "my" mechanic with Bob Lees.

10-15-2015 I cant say enough about the Wayne, and the way he treated me as a customer. I called with an issue first thing this morning, and he took me through the entire process to make sure I understood what the problem was. When you find an honest mechanic, treasure them like gold. I took my 2004 Colorado to Bob Lees to have them clean the throttle body. They did exactly what I asked. No tricks. No you need this or that add-ons. Just honest service and now my truck runs like new for just over a hundred bucks. I will never take my truck anywhere else for service. Bob Lees just won a new customer for life today.
