I have been dealer with midas for almost 20 years and I have only 2 complaints, karl road location my recent one being went in for an oil change and they told me other things were wrong with my car well when they finished they did not put the lug nuts back on my tire so I drove into traffic and my wheel fell off so they had to send out for lugnuts because they must have lost them or threw them away, they would not give me a strait answer, it is bad when you have 2 mechanics working on your car and both of them thinking the other put the lug nutts on, it cost me $600 for repairs and as an apology for their misconduct they offered me 3 free oil changes, I told them Im not coming back here I was told by their district manager they no longer work there, I had to take my car to a local repair shop a few weeks later to have a sway bar replaced where the wheel fell off along with rear struts they failed to tell me I needed it cost me $450 total which I had to get a loan from my bank to pay for. the other complaint I have is with the one on west broad street where they replaced my radiator with a new one well they forgot to tighten up the bolts to the fan and it broke off into the engine a mile down the road well I had to call a tow truck to have it taken back to their lot but I knew they were closed so I left it and called a cab to take me home, I called their district manager that night and left a message for him and he called me back the next day and was very apologetic to what happened and had the work repaired on my car first thing that morning, luckily their was no damage to anything else, the bottom line is if I have more bad experiences like these I am going to find other means of transportation

I Strongly believe that one of their workers sabotaged my car. I had some brake work done, and later that evening, I noticed that there was a metal cylinder with a flare on one side rolling around in a beverage holder. I kept the part just in case I needed it later. About a month or so later my steering wheel came off in a parking lot, and I found out from a local mechanic that the part that I found was one of the two pins that hold the steering wheel in place and act as an axis for tilt. This could have killed me. Also, the lugs were not tight on the front right wheel, and the brake rotor would wobble. I will never go back. They will allow you to finance auto repairs, but they will work it out so that the credit limit is met or exceeded by the time you drive away. They will tell you that it is crucial for maintenance to be done where there is a small amount of wear on a part( the left rotor in this case), and start to work on it without even asking you, and when they tell you and you let them know you dont want it done, they act as if its your fault that they started the job, even if you tell them beforehand that you only want one service performed. They will then proceed to charge it to your account anyway. I will have nothing to do with them ever again, save to prosecute.

A couple months ago after I got new tires for my 2008 Chevy Cobalt, I was given a coupon to Midas for an alignment, so I went. I didnt know that my car really didnt needed it. When I came here the new manager said they can do it, but than the tech comes out a said they cant do it bcuz their machine was old and can only do up to 2007 vehicles. The manager insisted to get it done. I waited from 5PM till almost 9PM when they finally called and told me the car was done. Yeah, u probably asking hows this possible if they close at 7PM. Well they had to stay longer to finish my car. My steering wheel was crooked. I told them, but they said to bring it back. I did, but I took it to Hilliard, but there they said the Control Arm was bad. Now my tires are worn out and the steering wheel still crooked. Thats when u can tell they are worry about your money and not service your vehicle. I dont recommend Midas at all. Goodyear maybe a little more expensive, but the experience Ive had there Its worth it. Specially after i went back, they wouldnt give me the money back. The manager just keep giving me excuses. Also to Discount Tire, thanks much for sending your customers to a 0 rated service place. Not just Midas lost a customer, but u for sending me there.

I took my car in for a routine oil change, and had a positive experience. It seems they are under new management as of less than 3 weeks ago, and their new manager, Kyle, was very pleasant and carried on a polite conversation with me while I was waiting for my car. The oil change was finished in less than 25 minutes, which is a great wait time. As is the general rule with auto-care places, the technician printed a quote of some maintenance work that I should consider doing based on the vehicles mileage, but didnt really push me into making a decision about it since I prefer to talk these things over with my fiance. They did quote me for a muffler replacement, and the technician actually took me into the garage while my car was up to show me and explain to me the potential damage, which is something I both appreciated and NEVER experience before. I decided to not replace it at the time, but appreciated the gesture none-the-less. I think since this place is under new management, its worth giving them a try for routine maintenance of a car. Try not to forget that most auto-repair shops are in business to make money and are going to quote you for things you might not think you need.

The last time I took my car here, my car wasnt heating up. It worked a little better when I took it home, but when it was really cold outside, the problem persisted. They charged me like $300. So, time has passed and I forgot all about it. My brakes needed to be replaced along with the rotors. They quoted me at $280 just for the front ones and another $280 for the back. So, naturally, I only did the front ones. I get my receipt and the check-up paper that they normally give, and noticed that it said the battery was low and needed to be replaced. This was around 2pm yesterday. Not even 24 hrs later, this morning, my car wont start and theres a battery notification on my dashboard. Opened my hood and theres a Midas coupon sitting on the battery for $10 off like a cute little bow on a present. This is a very large coincidence and hard to believe as chance. They wont be getting my business anymore. Im also going to stick to this google rating thing. Hopefully, if everyone else does too, well get these guys to start doing good business, lest they go out of business due to bad reviews.

I took my 2006 Toyota 4-Runner in for a Synthetic oil change on 3-12-16. i was asked to leave my truck there for awhile because they were so far behind. After 5 hours later i called to check on the status and was told it was ready, so i went to go get it only to find out they did NOT do what was asked!!!!!! Instead they did a Conventional oil change and tried to charge me for the Synthetic.. After the manager seen this he had them pull my truck in immediately and do the correct service that was paid for. I was also informed that i needed NEW TIRES after only spending $1250.00 in December on new ones. The manager gave me a free oil change on next visit due to the inconvenience. Well, INCONVENIENCE it is, i seen a bunch of oil on that evening under my truck on garage floor so we looked under hood ( WHAT A MESS)!!!!!! OIL everyhere!!! PUDDLES & PUDDLES even in weird places and to think i was a first time customer... Sorry, forgot about the shop rag that was left behind on my motor. Took lots of pictures.... Hope the owner reads this review!!! *Dissapointed*
