I went to get an oil change for which I had a groupon. I specifically said I needed synthetic blend oil. The representative told me it would be $25 more expensive for the blend, and although I was aware it would be more expensive I normally pay only around $13 more. I asked again if that was the price for the blend and he said yes. When I go back to pick up my car the rep told me the cost was for full synthetic oil. I asked him to check the order because I only asked for the blend. He confirmed that they did use full synthetic and if it was the blend it would have only been an extra $15. Not only did they make me pay the full amount for the synthetic that I didnt even ask for, now I have to worry about damage to my car if I decide to go back to a blend (Ive been told by multiple mechanics you should not switch to a lower grade once you upgrade to synthetic). To make matters worse he tried to justify the situation that since I used a groupon I was still paying less than full price anyway. Not happy and cant find a customer service number anywhere.

Although I had never been to a Grismer Tire store before, I couldnt pass up the oil change, tire rotation and 72 point inspection offered on Groupon. The guy that was running the counter at the time of my visit was very helpful and got my car into the shop rather quickly. The downside to my visit started with hearing the mechanics complaining about the number of Groupon customers that had come in during the one day that week they were allowing reservations. I paid it little thought until I got the completed inspection sheet. I knew my tires needed replaced (another reason I wanted to check out Grismer) and that was clearly marked on the sheet. I also knew that one of my turn signals needed to be replaced, but that was marked as "acceptable" on the sheet. To me it seems that they were so fed up with people trying to save money at their shop, that they were hurrying the inspections that were promised. I doubt that I will be returning to this location or any others.

Went in for oil change and tire rotation oil change was fine. The part where Im confused is I thought all service centers checked your vehicle for obvious problems while they has it in there. I already had my jeep set up to go to the muffler shop after because of a large leak. They said nothing about that but the worst part of it is the rear differential and the left rear hub is leaking horribly and the muffler shop are the ones who showed me that! Maybe its just me but when you say your going to top off all my fluids I expect you to check the four wheel drive or at least glance and see the rear end covered in diff fluid. Over priced and dont fill out a check list of what was even done.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Bunch of con-artists at this place. Went there because my car was making a funny noise, which I thought was a bad wheel bearing. They looked at it for 5 minutes and told me that I needed to rebuild my rear end for their small price of $3,500! No thank you. I took it to another mechanic who gave me an estimate of $700 if that was the issue, but upon further inspection, it was not and it WAS a wheel bearing. Needless to say, Im very glad I didnt fall for their scam and refuse to take any of my business there ever again. I suggest you do the same.

Bought tires here a year ago wanted to get one of my oil changes that came with new tires. When I made my apt the guy told me not having a oil change card wasnt a problem. Came in and the guy at the counter turned me away because I didnt have the card. Had to drive across town for a oil change card because they cant make notes on a computer. Oil change costs 25$ extra because it requires full synthetic oil and manager waived the price. I will give them 3 star solely for the manager. Front counter guy is a joke.

I have had many vehicles in for different services. Each time there was an issue or a recommended service that was not needed or parts billed for that were not changed. Each time they were confronted a refund was issued. One mistake can happen to anyone. This many times is not a mistake. Very aggressive service writers who will challenge your knowledge of your vehicle. I am shopping for a new repair shop.

I was big on this place after having several good experiences. I started to look for another service place after one episode where it seemed like they were pushing more expensive maintenance repairs on me then I felt were needed. Since I wrote this, Ive returned to Grismers to get my brakes worked on. I really think you can count on these guys to do professional work and do it well. Got no complaints.

In full disclosure.....I know the manager. Even so, every experience we have had with this location has been fantastic. Great staff (and manager) who are NOT looking to spin you in to unnecessary purchases. What I truly like is they take the time to explain problems and multiple repair options vice a one size fits all approach. HIGHLY recommend the Wilson Road location.

Took my truck in for "JUST A WHEEL ALIGNMENT". One hour later, they are telling me that they are having trouble starting it. I know my truck was not having any issues with starting up. Never even did the alignment. Costed me 85 bucks to get it towed to another shop who got my truck running in ten minutes.

I have taken 6 different vehicles over 17 yrs, Grismer has never tried to rip me off. And as the son of a fleet mechanic who has worked by fathers side I would know. And in the one instance I discovered an issue with their work they more than made right.

Ive been going here for over 8 years. Never had a bad experience. Yes they find things other than what you went there for, but I cant prove theyre unnecessary. Its so hard to find a service shop you can trust, but I think theyre worthy.

They took great care of my son when he had vehicle problems while traveling out of state. Brian, at the 655 N. Wilson Rd location, runs a first class business with excellent customer service. I highly recommend.

Grismer replaced 4 tires and did an alignment and they made sure it was done it time so I could make it to another appointment. Friendly service and free wifi.
