I took my car in because it was leaking power steering fluid. I payed around 200+ dollars to fix the clamp. When I got the car back the steering was too hard. Went back to tell the owner and he said "it fealt fine to him". The next day the fluid stated gushing out again. Went back and he said sorry...you need a new rack thats 2,000. Needless to say I was very upset. A friend of mine suggested his mechanic (who was not a mercedes mechanic) His name was Gary- Shade Tree mechanic I think. He agreed to take a look and immediately saw that the clamp was put on wrong. He ordered another one from the dealer and charged me a little over 100 dollars total. Obviously, Gulf Coasts business ethics are low. I felt very cheated after especially because he was pretending to help me.

The owner, Jim, is TREMENDOUS. Excellent work, priced right, easy to work with. Example: 1979 450 SLC in his shop for repairs. Jim calls, if you got a minute, come on down theres something I want to show you.....he takes me into the shop, shows me exactly whats wrong, what needs to be done and gives a very competitive price. He guarantees his work. Ive finally found a trustworthy mechanic with integrity. My 1979 450 SLC now runs like it wasbrand new....only better.

Misogynistic creature! Terrible work ethic. 3 times I made appointment and went and he damaged my car and yelled he needed to go home. I had to prepay for parts but he did not install them and then tore my interior. Then he shouted at me! He is selling this business and needs too as he hates people and working. Awful man. Particularly awful to women. Shame on him, he stole from me.

This guy has had our car for two and a half months for what he told us would be a two-week job costing us $2,000. He has continued to add more and more work that needs to be done and jacking up the price. Do yourself a huge favor and do not use him
