Dont be fooled by other reviews. Theyve set prices for what work needs to be done and thats that. I walked in quoted $498 for a repair for bottoming out. They man examined my car and noticed the small ding in my car from someone side swiping me in the parking lot as well as the scratched paint. He quoted me $528 for everything, materials and tax included when it was originally 500 for just the bottom out damage. Took a bit longer than they said it would, but just because of it being more work than I was originally quoted for, although they didnt charge me for more. They helped arrange a pre pay for me so I could pick up the car after their business hours (because I worked later than they were open) I picked up the car, and everything seems flawless. They wash the car extremely well afterwards to the point where it looks hand waxed. Only down side was that the work created a layer of paint dust inside the car, but I was getting the car detailed the next day anyway so I wasnt upset. Great guys, awesome prices.

Quoted a price of $150 to fix a minor clear coat peeling issue on my front fender by Phil (Manager) back in August (quote valid for 2 weeks). I decided to finally have the work done so I stopped in today with the vehicle to see if they would still honor the quote and schedule the work, but Phil hid in the back room and had another co-worker come out and break the news to me that the same job would now cost $340 since paint prices have gone up considerably in the last 10 months. I can understand an increase but more than double the original quote and the manager who wrote the initial quote not having the decency to come out and say hello and try to make me feel comfortable with the new price? Plenty of other options out there to put up with this places lack of customer service. I politely said I will not be having the service done an left. I am a car guy and know not to put up with this so I will be enjoying the service somewhere else.

Scratched the bumper of my new 2017 truck and talked with Joey at the desk. Was told 3 different times "Were gonna make your truck new again" $350 to repair. I agreed and brought the truck the next day. Went to pick up the truck and it has marks and dust all over the front bumper in multiple spots. So now my new truck with a scratch on the corner has marks on the whole front bumper (pictures of the specs below). They forgot to put my antenna back as well and the area around it has now been scratched from a wrench. Says you need to bring it back to me so I can all this buffed out and said "THIS IS NORMAL". Its not exactly easy for everyone to get off work and then not even offer a discount but to simply ask "how are you paying for this today?"......all in all my truck that I was promised to "LOOK NEW" actually looks worse. Thanks Carsmetics! Nothing has been done and I will remove post if this gets resolved

At some point on Monday 5/2 someone hit the passenger door of my truck, the scratches were down to bare metal. I didnt find the damages until Tuesday morning. I went into carsmetics Tuesday afternoon to get a quote and they were very outgoing and comforting. The quote was more than reasonable and I decided to drop it off that night to get fixed. I picked my truck up on Wednesday before they closed and Im so beyond thankful for all their hard work making my truck beautiful again. I was so scared that my truck just wouldnt look the same and man did they prove me wrong. The scratches and dents are completely gone the paint matched 100%. I dealt with the general manager Mike Chevalier who made sure my experience with carsmetics was beyond excellent. Thank you to mike and all his guys at carsmetics yall are truly amazing and your hard work is more than appreciated.

I took my Mercedes to Carsmetics to repair a small crack in the fender and repair some scratches on the rocker panel. When I went to pick up the car, I saw the crack was still visible through the paint. The manager agreed to redo the repair and repaint of the fender panel. When I picked it up the second time I saw the repair was still visible, although less so. When I returned home, I noticed the paint on the rocker panel did not match the car color. I called the manager, but was disappointed when he offered no explanation or any remedy. I guess the final straw was when I went to wash the car, I noticed the fender and door next to the fender was very rough. Thats when I realized they got over-spray on these when they repainted the fender. If you like quality workmanship, I would not recommend Carsmetics.

I had some (what I thought were) scratches on my back and front bumpers. I got an estimate from the body shop at my dealership of $1,000 to repair it. Said they’d have to remove the bumpers, back up cameras, etc…to be able to fix it "properly". Carsmetics on Ulmerton was recommended so I took it there for an estimate, hoping to save some money. The tech looked at the damage and said, “wait one second, I’ll be right back”…came out with a cloth and some stinky fluid and WIPED IT RIGHT OFF MY BUMPER…it was PAINT transfer from something I must have rubbed against, NOT scratches! Then we laughed a bit (because I felt really stupid) and he said "Hi, my name’s Mike, welcome to Carsmetics”!!!! Made my day, if not my week! I would definitely go back to them if I had "real" damage :)

When someone hit the back end of my new Camaro SS, and left the scene, I was sick. The left rear bumper was crunched in, there were small indentations underneath the impact point, and scuff marks where paint had been removed. I took it to Carsmetics the same day. The staff was very knowledgeable, and assured me that by the time they finished with it, the car would look like new. I took it in later that week. They had a rental car set up for me so there was zero inconvenience. In less than 24 hours, my car was ready. I could not believe how well they did with the repair. These guys are fast, very friendly, and displayed the utmost level of professionalism. If you need minor accident repair, look no further than Carsmetics on Ulmerton Road. You will be glad you called.

Nice staff! But of course when they are robbing you blind. Was quoted a descent price for a new side view mirror. When the job was all said and done and really seen how I was taken for a ride. The part was not replaced, only pieces such as base, panel, and mirror, not even the motor or shell. What a rip off!! $360.00 for WHAT? Given a story full of nothing for why it cost so much. Definitely go somewhere else for quotes before thinking of turning into Carsmetics for anything.

I had a great experience at Carsmetics on Ulmerton Road. I was in a minor accident and took my car in for an estimate. The service advisor, Phil, was friendly and gave me an estimate on the spot. It was much lower than I expected and I scheduled the service for the next day. I dropped it off at 830am. Picked it up at 430pm. The work was great and they matched the color perfectly. I was really impressed and would recommend Carsmetics to anyone. Really.
