I asked them to come out to my house to look for a crack and roots in my sewer line. Then report to me where it is and confirm if I was even right. They brought a camera to do this that I paid for. The video showed the roots (which means cracked) and the suggestion was $2200 to jet spray and clean the pipes or rust and calcium. They did not even offer to fix the real problem (the crack with the roots). The invoice did not accurately show what the problem because the crack or roots were not listed at all. They mentioned a level 4 repair. What even is that? They didnt repair anything. Also, the plumber, told me the incorrect spot that the roots were located. When I pulled my front porch up (based off the plumbers observation) there were no pipes, wires, or anything there at all that could give a false reading. We dug 6ft long and a bit more than 4ft deep. I paid men to do this along with tool rental of $300 from HomeDepot based on incorrect information on something that I paid Scottos plumbing to tell me for $500.86. I spoke with the manager, Justin, and his reply was "I didnt agree that we actually said that and theres nowhere that its written down that we actually said that" so I was not getting a refund. They only caused problems because when they took my toilet off, to put the camera down, they did not make sure it was seated correctly when they put it back on so it rocked. Considering all the extra expenses this mistake caused me the entire thing should be refunded to me. Even the video footage they sent me, you can hear the plumber telling me the roots were in my living room. They gave me incorrect information and did not even give me a price quote to fix the real problem. You can see the roots in the camera and I am sure the manager watched the video, but did not even offer to update the invoice correctly to show there were roots and cracks at all.

The baseboard behind my toilet was showing signs of water damage, leading me to believe that a pipe was leaking in the wall. Scotto came to assess the situation, and decided to refer me to their subcontractor who does leak detection. He was not able to pinpoint the leak during his visit, but did rule out a leaking pipe. He also gave me the idea of putting a blue cleaning tab in the toilet tank to see if the toilet was the source. About a week later, I found bluish water leaking out from the baseboard. I called Scotto a second time and the plumber was able to determine that the wax seal ring was cracked. He replaced the wax ring in less than 2 hours. I was impressed with the tools and techniques he had for doing the job well – he also had everything he needed on the truck. He took a great deal of care separating the broken ring from the drain to avoid any damage, and used additional bolts to secure the new ring to the concrete floor. I’ve had no leaks of any sort since and am very pleased with the work performed. The price was also very reasonable.

People say, "You get what you pay for." With Scottos you get a fair price and the comfort of someone who is an obvious professional. I found them on Angies List and selected at random from plumbers who also had an A rating. They could get a plumber out same-day to fix my sink and were polite on the phone. Brian (the plumber) was really helpful and explained all the steps of what he was going to do and how much it was going to cost upfront. During the labor he made sure I knew what the problem was and how to prevent it in the future (Keep pasta out of your disposal!). He cleaned up after himself and even happily answered a few other questions I had about other projects without rushing me. I know who my go-to plumber is from now on!

Scottos PLumbing are scam artists. They did a camera job on my pipes for over $500 and did not put my toilet back on correctly. The leaking caused damages to my floor, but supposedly that is not their problem. The camera plumber they sent lost the camera down my drains and when he got it back, he could not even tell me the problem, but I was still charged. I am going to file a complaint with the consumer protection and BBB. Dont use them for anything. Talking to Justin, the guy in charge there, did no help at all.

My service representative Brian was on time, completed an excellent job that was praised by the gas company and city inspectors who were obviously impressed with the quality of work that was performed. You can pay more but I am highly skeptical you will find a higher quality in the work for which you might need to be done. Honest hardworking and reliable, can not think of higher praise to give a trade and will out them at the top of our resource list as a board member of our HOA.

Woke up on a Friday with a foot of water in our sunken bathtub and the toilets gurgling. How does this happen on a Friday? We called and although they were busy, they sent someone over within 2 hours. John got the blockage fixed, did an enzyme treatment, and replaced a fill valve. Ive used Scottos before and have always been well pleased. Smart, clean and fast are hard to beat.

After ripping a hose bib off the side of my house on a Saturday AM, the folks at Scotto plumbing came to the rescue. Brian was at my house within an hour and did a great job. Pricing was fair. Found these folks on Angies List as they have more reviews there than all other Pinellas County plumbers combined. Would recommend them without hesitation!

Our water heater went out over Memorial Weekend with a house full of guests and Scottos came to the rescue!!! Not being able to take a hot shower or run the dishwasher was not an option for me or my guests. Thankfully, Scottos guys came out right away. They were very professional and did a great job. Thanks for saving our holiday.

I CALLED SCOTTOS ABOUT A SMALL LEAK. WHAT SCOTTOS DID WAS REPLACE ITEMS IN THE SINK WHICH HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LEAK UNDER THE SINK. NOW I HAVE A PADDED BILL FOR HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS AND A LEAK. WHEN I CALLED TO COMPLAIN, SCOTTOS WAS EXCEEDINGLY RUDE. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID, STAY AWAY FROM THESE RIP-OFF ARTISTS!!!

I am building a new home and Scottos Plumbing has the best reputation from all the people I spoke with. Scottos owner Jerry is truly the most genuine guy around! His entire staff of plumbers and technicians are long term loyal employees that really care and are trustworthy. I am very glad people recommended Scottos to us!

We have been customers of Scotto Plumbing for many years. I am very impressed with the work they have done for us. We always receive the best rates and their knowledge is superior to other plumbers for sure. I own 3 homes in Pinellas county and would only rely on Scottos for any plumbing needs.

Very unhappy and this company actually scams people. Then I looked them up in the BBB and saw the same thing. They didnt use a new wax ring when they put the toilet back on. That would have only cost like $1.00. Never again will I use them.
