The customer service was just great, and the atmosphere? Very friendly. But Im looking for more than that from a hair place... I take salon trips very seriously. Our hair is important! Now, I came in a while back for a blow out, and they did a great job with the blow dryer and the hot press. With that, I have no complaint. Hardly a single burn on both accounts. For the average person, youll probably have no complaints with these professionals. So what went wrong? Im rating two stars because my hair was decimated during the brushing process. Now, I fully acknowledge that I have curly hair--and a lot of it. And yes, knots happen. My issue is how the knots were approached. I know what it looks and feels like when my hair is being brushed and untangled, versus being pulled and ripped, torn halfway down the middle by brush and comb for the sake of speed. When I untangle my hair in the shower, I have a tendency to pull at my hair until the knots are gone. But I dont like to do that, it breaks a ton of hair. This past year Ive stopped that to give my hair time to heal. It had grown quite long. My approach, compared to the hair dressers, was gentle by comparison. They pulled at every knot they encountered, with surprising force. Look, Ive had my hair untangled a few times before, once every few months. Never have I experienced this. It wasnt a matter of tender headedness, but methods. My hair looks significantly thinner than I ever recall it being after a blow out. Not like the hair itself is necessarily thinner, but that there is just much Less of it. When pulled back, my ponytail is way smaller and shorter. Ithought at first, it wasnt so bad... everyone at work noticed and comments. I just hope my hair grows back by next year. If you have lots of curly or tangled hair, and youd like to preserve the integrity of your hair and its length, save 75 dollars. Im not sure that these kind people, bless their souls, can handle natural or ethnic hair, despite claims to the contrary.

Its not often I come across any kind of business that delivers on a quality product AND customer service. I called around 6pm looking to get in to fix a mishap I had created with my own hair-- I had used a box hair color remover and left my hair seriously uneven in color. Not only did they get me in, they kept the shop open for me an hour and a half after closing time! The price was a bit expensive, but, that can be overlooked with the service I received and the fact that my hair didnt fall out from trying to be a DIYer! I absolutely love what she did with my hair! I can sit in class tomorrow knowing everyone is envious of my new do and not because I look like a hot mess. Crisis averted! Thanks ladies!

Wonderful place with super nice women! They were so kind to my 10yr old daughter tonight and she left smiling ear to ear. Her hair has never looked this good hr entire life and the best is that they didnt use a bunch of products and chemicals! Her hair feels soft as silk and is so light and moveable! (An amazing feat considerng she has supr dry, kinked curly bi-racial hair that was matted up like brillo before they worked their magic.) She has been teased so terribly for her hair and tonight I saw her self esteem jump as she looked in the mirror when they finished her hair! Definitely go here...they are magicians!

I wish I could say the say the same. This small business may be growing too fast for its own good. Stylist seemed split for time always managing 2-3 clients at a time. All are good and super friendly. I referred my mom and had her drive in from Orlando promising her a great experience. She thought Miara was lovely, but left with green hair, frizzy roots and a HUGE bill. Guess it just wasnt her day. Shocked to hear Miara wouldnt give her a refund. The shop on Ulmerton is a better bet the new one on Bay to Bay was a miss. Epic fail on my part. Wont refer again.

Blow looks nice...pricing keeps going up every visit and they do not honor the fact that you are a returning customer...I usually get a deep conditioner, blown out, and trim...this time I only got a blow out and trim and it cost me more than when I did all three last time...the excuse I got was that the trim is no longer included in the blowout and is now a seperate price...Well time to find another stylist or just continue to rock an afro because these prices are ridiculous...

I think God that I have had such a great experience there after having such a bad experience with other salons remember even having a emotional issues going on my 2nd visit and they loved on me even though I was a stranger to them and put their arms around me and love me like I was their little sister. And Im so impressed with how Myra has done great wonders for my hair came in natural went out with silky long hair and all natural!!!!!!!!

My first time there was not please with the owner and how she treated me myra I think was her name and they messed up my highlights took all my color out my hair still charge me 25.00 for messing up my hair and then insult my hair dresser and tell me its my falt the wait was way too long and her customers service skills sucks and if it hadnt been for my daughter being with me I would have told her how I really feel .

Loooved it!!! Amazing customer service as soon as i walked in. They received me with a smile on their face and asking what I was looking to get done. I got a dominican blow out, not very complicated but trust me not all places do a good job. I was offered coffee/water a couple of times. They were helpful and friendly, definitely going there next week!

I started going to Simply Hair about 2 1/2yrs ago. I heard about them on the internet, went one time and have never stopped since. This is the best Dominican salon around, staff is friendly and skilled at what they do. I havent had a relaxer in over 4months, and after just a wash and blow dry I came out looking like I had just received a fresh Mizani relaxer. They offer keratin treatment also. Two thums up
