I called to get an appt at the salon. I explained that my hair is purple and I needed it done again. My head is 12 shaved, but I left that detail out when I asked for pricing. The girl on the phone said it would be around $86 to start. Ok, I am no dummy. I figured it would be a bit more than that. The girl told me my appt was with Stacey. I thanked her and then off the phone. When I arrived for my appt they told me my appt had moved to Lester. I said fine, no problem. Lester came out to get me. He didnt even ask how I was. He just led me to his chair and started combing out my hair. Then he tried to match my ends without even asking what I wanted. He then asked if I needed to discuss pricing. Of course I said yes. He said it would be $191 which included the 15% 1st time customer discount. That was more than double the telephone quote. When I told him that was ridiculous he said, "Fine, have a nice day," and walked away without even offering to help me get my hair back into the shape it was before he combed it out. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told he was the manager. I went to the front of the store and asked the girl at the counter to speak with the store manager. The store manager came out and took me back to the salon to try to book me an appt with someone else and to make it right when the Lester person came over and started whispering in her ear. I said forget it and walked out. I went across the parking lot and got a great price of $65 for the same thing without the attitude. You could just tell that Lester person took one look at me and decided he didnt want to work with me. (Im a goth girl and was wearing all black and purple ombre lipstick.) You would think that a cosmetics store would LOVE to have a make up junkie like me in their store. I will never buy anything there again. I was mortified! If that is the manager of their salon, they have a real problem!

I went to Ulta for the first time after deciding to overhaul my entire make-up and hair routine for the new year. I had decided on going to get matched for BareMinerals and see my options. At the store, I stood in front of the BareMinerals display for a couple of minutes and no one acknowledged me. I walked around the make-up department for awhile, looking at everything. There were quite a few make-up girls standing around chatting, and not a single one looked at me, acknowledged me or asked if I need help so I moved on. I made my way to the hair department and was looking for a cruelty free product to use daily. No one was around so I made the decision on my own, after looking at labels on the majority of the overwhelming selection. Next, I went to the face wash section and was finally greeted by a nice employee and when I asked her for a cruelty free product, she identified several lines from which to make my selection, and I did find one that worked. I had to wait in line for check out for about five minutes as watched it it back up, as there was only one girl at the counter. As for the BareMinerals, I went to Macys and received great service in matching me and showing me how to apply it. I am disappointed in Ulta and I felt the store was quite understaffed considering the extent of their inventory. I would have been a make-up customer had anyone helped me. Unfortunately, I will be going to back considering all the options available, but I will do my research before hand and not expect any help once I get there.

Horrible place and salon. Went there to get my hair dyed and showed them a pic of what I wanted. I was told they could do it so I go it done. It washed out after two washes, went back in for a second time and had it redone and it turned BLACK (i was going for a medium brown with some purple tint) ! She noticed it turned black and told me not to worry it will fade some after I wash it a few times....well a week and a half later its still black. So i called the store and asked if i could get a refund and Stacy said yes then hung up on me. So i went in for the refund and she tells me in a very rude voice that i cant come back that they wont touch my hair again so I better not expect to have my hair done there again. Really like after u fried my hair and turned it black ur gonna tell me not to come back. My mom went there a few days after me and they turned her hair green. So yeah dont worry I will NEVER come back. Ur very rude, over priced and do a cheap job in the salon. Please dont go here if u want ur hair done fair warning.

Horrible customer service.....4 of the girls on the floor saw me come in and not one of them stopped me to see if i needed any help. They were to busy in a huddle talking about which one of them could babysit there coworkers dog while on vacation. When i approached one of them who walked away from the huddle to ask a question about a product she pointed to a shelf and recommended something i wasnt even looking for and walked away to go back to there group conversation. I rather spend a little more money and shop at the mall for my makeup instead of deal with hearing the staffs personal problems about finding a sitter. Never again. Everyone was rude and stuck up!

This place is horrible & the customer service is terrible . I soley go here because its the only one near me but as soon as the new one on Seminole opens Ill be going there instead . I went in with my friend & she needed a new foundation . All the employees were on the floor & in one big circle just chatting their lives away . They didnt acknowledge us walking in & they certainly didnt acknowledge me when I asked for help three times . Completely rude & so unprofessional . Its happens all the time . I cannot wait for the new store . This one here needs a complete employee revamp .

I truly have had a pretty good experience with the staff and some of the managers here. Just make sure to always ask what your points are, use them if you want and ALWAYS ask for samples when your purchasing a high end product because most of the time they wont give it to you unless you ask. Other then that I like this location. I always call ahead of time if I was something specific because the Ulta website might say they have some but in reality they dont have it in stock.

Niccole is the best hair stylist hands down! My hair was damaged and shes brought it back to life. The store in general is always clean and tidy and its easy to find things. My only complaint is I wish the salon was more closed off so you could get the relaxed salon feel but seeing Niccole is worth it. Your hair will come out better than ever. I also stop here for my make up products and its always a quick in and out and easy to find what Im looking for.
