Called to find out where to pick up my package after 3 attempts. Talked to someone in India, I think, over the weekend. He told me it was on a truck to be delivered on Monday. I told him that I needed to pick it up. So he told me to pick it up at this facility on Monday. I found the building even though there are no signs and it is on a side street. There were no signs for a customer to follow. It is surrounded by an 8 ft fence with barbed wire and a key pad with no instructions by the gate. After getting someone on the phone, I waited 20 minutes by the gate in the hot sun while they looked for my package. I had forgotten the tracking number and apparently names and tracking numbers arent linked. There is no bench or shade for people to wait at because it doesnt seem that they are going to let anyone in the gate to get to the visitor office. I came home and called to find that it was on a truck to be delivered by 3pm, but I was going out of town at 12:30 and wasted 1 1/2 hours driving and trying to pick it up. The man on the phone was hard to understand, but he said that it was supposed to be taken off the truck, but it wasnt. I told him I had to have it by noon and he contacted the driver and told him. He said if I dont get it by then to call back. Seriously, I am leaving to go out of town at 12:30.Then I get a phone call at 11:45 saying that they have it at the facility that I went to this morning because it is on a truck that was sitting in the warehouse and no one will bring it to me before I leave. The customer service of Fed Ex is unbelievable . SHe got my phone number off the package, but local cannot access my other info, only the 800 national can. But she wouldnt let me came in and call them or anything while I was there, so we could find my package. I am sorry to say that after today, I will avoid using Fed ex ever again and will try not to buy from people who do use your service.
