Poor customer service! Beware of YOUFIT automatic renew clause for personal training... 1st I had 3 months of inadequate training: 1st trainer dumped me as she was promoted, 2nd trainer because he was promoted to regional, the 3rd had me sitting and standing for 20 min... I stopped training...not knowing there was an automatic 3 month renewal which I wasnt informed when signing the contract. I even told the instructors that I wasnt going to train, but none advised me I was still being charged. When I saw my bank statement II immediately Cancelled the service. 5 days later I was charged for an additional month. Today I as informed that I will be charged again, for a total of 2 additional months after cancelling, penalized for not giving 30 days formal notice. This Total 5 MONTHS ....$700 for unwanted training services!!! You would think that YOUFIT is Customer Service sensitive, the Coconut Grove manager said he couldnt help me and limited himself by reading the corporate statement. What type of service is this??? Remember the we endured several weeks with no showers, no toilets, no water at the YOUFIT Coconut Grove GYM....but absolutely NO consideration from management or corporate...I already paid for 3 months for disorganized training, who at YOUFIT approves charging 5 additional months when the customer is dissatisfied???? Great people at reception, but POOR office and corporate management! BEWARE... I am not the only one to fall into this situation at YOUFIT.

Highly questionable ethics/terms with contracts. Their explanation of the contract at signing up and upon trying to get a refund after their own terms are followed are contradictory and sketchy. I signed up for $840 in private trainer lessons. I was told that they would refund the money at any time after 3 months if I needed for the unused portions if I needed the refund. I was even pointed this out in the contract. I went in and followed their procedures and they refuse to refund saying that I had to cancel within 3 days only, even though the contract clearly states 3 months before a cancellation and refund can be asked for. I will sue them in small claims court. This is BS.

I have been going to this gym about 5 months. First of all, they dont have A/C at all feels like I am doing cardio 24/7. The staff doesnt let you bring your personal belongings such as my gym bag. The paper towels dispenser is always empty this is the reason why I want to bring a my gym bag which they dont allow. They dont have enough equipments for the amount of people that come in. Another thing, is they only have ONE water fountain for the whole gym that is very unhygienic. The only reason why i go there is because is because is near my house but if i had other options I would go somewhere else .

I have been a member here for almost 2 years and I called to find out how to cancel my membership. Lately the gym has been filthy and the front desk staff rude and more interested in selling memberships than they are in greeting and checking in current clients. The front desk has been so rude lately that I am cancelling and going across the street to 24 Hour Fitness. I asked if they had changed management and was told yes...that explains everything. YouFit will continue to lose business because of what is going on there now. It used to be so clean and friendly..not so much anymore.

Awful hygiene: always smells really bad: think it is because there is almost no ac and everybody sweats constantly. Paper dispensers at lower floor constantly empty. Dont you dare to ask the tall, dark skin guy at the front desk: he barely look at you when you talk, he just answer alright, barely open his mouse to say it. However, that same guy is very very nice and helpful with some other pals. 20 min after I asked him for paper, I end up going to the restroom to get paper. Left almost 2 hours after and no paper was placed. I was completely ignored.

El único problema es que los fines de semana el parqueo te permite una hora de estancia free, el sábado pasado por no saber esto tuve que pagar el estacionamiento, nada barato. Por lo demás es un buen gym, tranquilo, agradable y personal muy amable

Great staff, clean gym, cheap membership. I miss having more equipment at my other gym but you really cannot complain for the price. Its got what you need. Crowd is usually cool with the exception of a few slackers that hog machines and alot of people that do not re rack their weights. The staff is good about trying to keep the weights racked, but gym guests are just inconsiderate. Parking is 1.5 hours free on weekdays and 1 hr on weekends. Parking is really my only major complaint.

Really disappointed. I joined the gym when they opened a year ago, and have see it changed quickly to a dirty place. I guess the machines are never cleaned. . . What bother me the most is the they never made the AC work right, the AC on the second floor is always warm (80s) as the AC is always brocken. Running on the treadmill feels hotter than running outdoors.

I have been member since last year, and last year I didnt have any to complain until now. There is a lack of fresh air ( AC ), they have it but it looks like it doesnt work properly and it is so hot in both floors always it is not pleasant to workout like that. Also some times they open the windows and it gots worse. I would like they do something about it.

Its a decent gym, only downside is the parking isnt free if you pass an hour, which for most people isnt enough.Not the cleanest gym either, I like the machines but some machines you cant use because its only for people that pay for coaching. Really unfair but cheap and its has most of the things you will need.

Only care about selling memberships. Have not been at this gym for more than a year and youfit as a whole wont even allow me to cancel without paying $10 fee. After having called 6 months ago to tell them that I was going to be out of the country and needed to cancel over the phone.

Very decent gym, especially for the price. However, that means that occasionally it may be unorganized, and the air conditioning doesnt work in the treadmill/elliptical area on the second floor. But the gym is fairly complete, and it really isnt all that expensive at all.

Great staff good customer service love the gym first time sign up to youfit its not crowded just right, at lease when I went. I needed a gym the price was good just the parking in the garage sucks but they validate it for you
