I moved away from coral springs 4 years ago. 4 years ago, the equipment was already in need of an update. I just moved back, and they still have much of the same equipment. The cardiovascular machines are all updated, but free weights, and weight lifting machines all need an update, badly. If you have children and are expecting good service from the kids club, you will be very displeased and disappointed. You will pay a fee every month to have your children registered in the kids club. However, if you come during peak times, you will be routinely turned away for the service. The reason for this is because the kids club is at full capacity. In two weeks, I have sat to wait on average 30 minutes for an available spot for my kids. Today, my wife waited 50 minutes, and there was still no space available. She decided to leave. The 50 minutes she could have spent working out, was spent waiting for a spot to open. You will paying for a service that you will not be receiving. Also, if you have a two year old, or a one year old, there are limits to how many can be in the kids club at once. So they may not neccesarliy have a lot of kids in the club, but if the capacity for 2 year olds have been met, be prepared to wait 30 minutes on average. None of the free weights are ever returned to their proper place, but that is expected with a gym thats open 24 hours a day. I pay 70 dollars a month for 2 adults, and access to the kids club with two kids. It is the most expensive rate in the area. The staff have sometimes given me an attitude when I give a complaint about the previously mentioned issues, but bad service is the par for South Florida workers. If you are a parent, Id strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you are in need of a gym with a kids club. If you just need a gym, probably go elsewhere as this gym tends to have the highest rates. If you can get past the aforementioned, go ahead and sign up. Im definitely cancelling.

This place really needs negative stars. I was a member for almost a year and watched it go from bad to worse. Its approaching rock bottom. The equipment is so old that many of the weight listings are entirely rubbed off, so you have to guess. The floors are dirty and there is equipment everywhere except where it should be. I spend a lot of my time wandering around, trying to find missing equipment. Im rarely able to locate it. Today it looked like it hadnt been vacuumed in the last 6 mo. and there were dirty paper towels all over the floor. Its a two floor facility and there are almost never any staff members to address questions or offer help. They hang out in the offices and at the desk. They should be upstairs keeping equipment where it belongs and helping answer questions. Then there are the health issues. Cleaning stations for hands/equipment are few and far between. The ventilation is terrible. There are two fans in the work-out area and they are both pointed at the doorway on the floor below. Nice for the people walking in, but useless to the people who need them. The air is perpetually stale. The air conditioning is in dire need of updating. There are two areas where the only cool air pour in and one of those is above the unattended staff desk. I met with the manager over 6 mo. ago. She assured me that things would be changing, except she sounded like it would be better, not worse. While the prices charged are among the highest in the area, the facility is a dump. Im basically trapped into going there because they are the only local facility with a pool that takes the Silver Sneakers participants. Its too bad that there is no management, maintenance or care of this facility. The only thing it has going for it are some good trainers.

The customer service on this place is terrible. WARNING!! When i joined this club i didnt get any notice that there was a cancellation fee if i decided to move out of town. Now i called to cancel and the cs rep told me that i didnt have to because i could simply froze my account without getting charge ANY TYPE OF FEES!! This turned out to be false! I just got a charge for $42.39 as an annual fee i was NEVER told about. I just called customer service and they told me that i signed a contract that said so!! But my question is where is the customer service here? This should have been explained to me, of course it seems that their goal is not to keep their customers informed but to charge them as much as they can. Now i want to cancel my subscription but turns out that there is a $215 charge for cancellation fee!!! i was NEVER advised about this. CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS VERY RUDE TO ME AND MOST LIKELY WILL BE TO YOU IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM,,,OF COURSE WHEN YOU WALK IN FOR THE 1ST TIME EVERYBODY IS NICE AND WILL DO ANYTHING THEY CAN IN ORDER TO GET YOUR SUBSCRIPTION.....ACTUALLY THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES IF YOU BARGAIN WITH THEM. I WAS TOLD INITIALLY THAT THE MONTHLY FEES WHERE $45 AND WHEN I TOLD THEM I WAS UNSURE OF JOINING BECAUSE I MIGHT MOVE OUT IN THE FUTURE THEY REDUCE THE PRICE TO $25 MONTHLY BUT NEVER SAID ANYTHING FURTHER.........

Terrible! Let me first state that I have been a member here for a few years now and the only reason I am still here is because there are absolutely no other options. LA Fitness is the biggest scam since Ballys closed, and the other "fitness" facilities around are focused on just targeting middle-aged overweight women. No matter what time of day, you will be hard-pressed to find the machine you desire not occupied by someone just shy of their 95th birthday or some distressed, 180 lb. housewife being flattered by an unemployed wedding DJ. No one, and I mean NO ONE re-racks their weights, the staff are miserable and obviously hate their jobs, the equipment is wobbly and horribly maintained, broken mirrors, electrical wires exposed, and if thats not bad enough, you stand an excellent chance of having your car broken into as there have been numerous robberies within the last year in the parking lot. The only good thing about this club is the hours it is open hence its name "24 hour fitness". So unless your job requires you to work out at 3am, I would not waste your time.

This place is a joke! Im a caretaker for my 81 yr old grandma and she uses a walker to get around. That being said she needs assistance walking cause of her balance. Ive been taking her to 24hour fitness for the pass 3 weeks and never had a problem accompanied her with her exercises. I have never used any of the machines not even a weight, I just assist her with some easy exercises I put her through and we leave not even there a hour. This time when we go in I give them my phone number so my grandma doesnt have to use her finger. She has trouble with her hands cause shes had a stroke. So all I wanted to do today was take my poor little sweet grandma to the gym cause she been wanting to go and they tell me no I cant go up with her. I said she cant do anything by herself cause shell fall. So Im there so she wouldnt fall and Im 31 yr old women who is pretty strong and they are worried about me falling. They said I cant go up unless I buy a membership what kind of scam is that!!! Dont bring your elderly here if you care about them.
