I am new to Coral Springs, stopped into Camilla, liked what I saw and therefore called sometime later for an appointment to have my hair cut. I specifically told the person who answered the phone that I have thin, fine hair and need someone who cuts hair well, especially my type of hair. She put a hair stylist on the phone who assured me she was the one. At my appointment, this stylist was super nice, massaged my head, took her time and gave me an enjoyable experience. But my first clue that the cut was not going to be good was when it took her an hour and a half for my appointment. She cut hair for the most part like I would cut my daughters hair as a non-stylist. It didnt look all that wonderful, but until I have washed and styled my own hair I am unsure. The next day I could tell it was not a good cut. I had to snip here and there daily after stying my own hair. Finally, about a week later, I called to have my hair "tweeked." (What it really needed was to be recut. I am always willing to give a person a second chance.) An hour later, my hair had been recut and looking a bit better. She wanted to charge me for the correction cut! I told the lady at the desk I did not think this was right, she spoke to the sylist, and to her credit, did not charge me. (I would not have paid anyway.) The next day, after styling it myself, I realized that this stylist simply cannot cut hair properly. I blame the salon for misdirecting me and for retaining such a stylist. I am awaiting a return call from the salon manager so I can make her can be aware of the situation. I hate to diss this lady, as she is a sweetheart, but not a talented hairstylist.

I received a manicure pedicure with my grandmother. It was for a wedding and my nails were done by apple she was a very sweet lady, but her nail work was terrible. It was sloppy and messy my nail polish looked as if it grew out already i was appalled; my feet looked just as bad. When I went to the front desk I asked for a completely different nail tech, she gave me the ladys friend who did my grandmothers nails, and all she kept saying was shes a great nail tech idk what happened? And when "I finally got my nails"--not my toes done.. that were painted incorrectly.. They said they were going to charge me for the paint change? Wait... charge me for the paint used to do my nails correctly. I was livid!!!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE! The worst customer service, the worst prices, I was charged extra for a poor job. And I will never go there again. You lost good business, I tip over 30% but because everyone was poor to me I didnt because it was not deserved. @Coralsquaremall please replace them with someone better. Try Pink Nails instead on university... Trust me you wont regret it.

So I came here with my soon to be mother in law to put on "gel" nails for my bridal shower and boy am I disappointed! I told the technician, I dont want powder I want gel and she kept insisting that it was gel powder--BS! I feel so cheated!! So be careful ladies whenever you get gel, make sure its actual liquid NOT powder!! There is no such thing as powder gel nails. Their "gel nails" like too many other places are merely acrylic nails with a gel top coat. I havent done nails in such a long time I didnt even realize this until it was too late...hopefully another local salon that offers REAL Gel Nail can fix this hot mess!!! Oh and the acrylic arent even good!! They are bumpy, thick and crooked. Its day 2 and it already feels kind of loose!!!! The paint job is eh, and they didnt even bother cleaning up the cuticles or anything--they literally just slabbed the nails on there.

Hey I just had a fantastic treatment with Jackie B from Camilla Day spa and if you would like a qualified reference on a treatment before you try some one new. I went in as a client not expecting too much, after practicing as a sports injury therapist for over 20 years. I couldn’t believe Jackie’s ability for someone to give such a fantastic treatment, after only a 2 years of work says only one thing. SHE IS A NATURAL!! The only disappointing thing I can say is; why does she have to work in America? If she came to Australia I would have her working with me. I would trust her with my own clients and know they’d be happy. Oh and if you want to verify this is a legit reference Google me Luka Botic Massage Brisbane Australia. Just book in if you like a nice firm/ deep therapeutic massage, I am praying I get the time for a second one before I fly out.

Ive done everything here but my last experience ruined the entire place for me... They do an OKAY job on nails (only went twice wont go again found a better place). Hair: if you have dark hair and you want a light natural looking color or just red this is NOT the place for you. They do an OKAY job with haircuts but I can just go to hair cuttery and get the same cut and style for much cheaper. The best thing about this place is the threading and waxing. Laila (threading) always does a good job except one time (dont go on the weekends). The waxing lady who does eyebrows is really good too my friend goes all the time.

Had a horrible experience...when stylist was washing and conditioning my hair she got shampoo and creme rinse all over my face. When cutting my hair(horribly)she would scrape the scissors on my face or near my eyes. I wanted wispy sides, she cut them extremely short, I wanted short on top, it lays to heavy. Both sides have wings that stick out. I wanted short, sexy and sassy. I got sloppy, uneven and discussed. Spoke with management and got a couple of dollars off, they were to call and follow-up with me. Well, that didnt happen.

Ive been visiting Camilla Day Spa to get my hair cut since 2005. Over the years Ive gotten to know the various hair dressers quite well, they have always been friendly and most of all, cut my hair really really well. I like going to places that treat their clients like people and not just another person that has to be in and out in 30 mins. I am usually greeted by name and made to feel as though I am the only client they are seeing that day, I value that kind of service. Thanks Cam for running such a professional spa Ian

It was the first time coming here for a Brazilian and I have to say it is not all that, especially for what they charge. But because the spa I usually go to was booked I settled coming here. It was $40 for a high bikini, or "playboy" (labled on there menu) which I didnt ask for (Brazilian is everything, including the you know what!). ...and second they didnt have hard wax. The staff was friendly, the room smelled like food, I didnt think an Aveda spa would be this mediocre. Better off going to European Wax center.
