IF I COULD TAKE EVEN THIS ONE STAR AWAY I WOULD. My mom loves going to this location and has for a few years now. She just went for her appointment with hairstylist Reese (whom she sees every time and always arrives punctual for the apt time scheduled). Unfortunately, she lives an hour away from the location now, so she rushed to get down to him. She arrived 15 min late and noticed he was still finishing up a hair cut from the previous customer. Having to wait anyways, shes immediately apologized, when Reese abruptly responded with refusal of service in a very unfriendly manner. She again apologized for being 15 min late and accepted another stylist named Sally. As she was getting her hair done, which wasnt very much since this stylist decided she had another client to start cutting and then having to "go get something from her car for her friend" who has now arrived to hang out and talk about personal business, all the while shes in mid cut of my mothers hair. My father then overhears Reese and another stylist then speaking in an unprofessional manner regarding my mothers tardiness as the high fived each other in clear view of my father and other clients, like children on the school yard gossiping, now that he was finished with the client that was in the seat when my mother arrived. As my mother waits patiently just excited to finally get a hair cut, now by Sally . Finally, it was time to see the cut. Needless to say my mother was so upset with the butchered job Sally had done to her hair, even after providing pictures as a guide, she left crying. I NOR MY FAMILY WILL EVER GO BACK TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Im extremely disgusted by the way my mother was treated, talked about , and now having a completely butchered job. She will be going to another stylist to have this disgrace of a cut fixed. Thanks to Reese and Sally, Hair Cuttery has officially lost long time clients.

AVOID THIS PLACE! I went in for a haircut with shampoo expecting a simple cut job. However I experienced a rushed shampoo job and horrible treatment. The appointment was going alright, until I had asked about how much a blowdry would cost additionally during the cut, and opted out after she told me how much it was (I was just curious and didnt need a blow-dry that bad). The hairdresser was a very cold seeming woman who got confused and at one point towards the end started to blow-dry my hair. I did not realise until it was taking her over 5 minutes that perhaps she was doing the full blow-dry so I asked to make sure. She instantly became rude and claimed I had told her to blow-dry my hair when I had clearly said no thanks Ill pass when she had told me the price and I asked if I had wanted that service. Perhaps there was miscommunication, but what really ticked me off was that she made it very awkward and asked me "well didnt you realise I was pulling on your hair with my hairbrush?!". This was my first experience with this hair salon so I am not familiar with her style and how they blowdry. Salons I usually go to in my city do rough dry your hair after a cut as you would never send a client home with wet hair of course. But this is exactly what she preceded to do after having huffed and puffed about this miscommunication. She sprayed my already half dried hair down with water as to give me any of the blow dry she mistakenly carried out - very petty. Not only that, but she also sent me off with wet hair. It was extremely petty and no hair salon I have ever been would send a customer home with wet hair after having paid for a shampoo and cut. She was very unproffesional in what she did and I would reccomend just going somewhere else and paying a little more for better customer service. The price of a cut is cheap for a reason.

I wont be returning to this hair cuttery. I walked in to a very cold reception from the stylist at the front desk. No hello, no smile, nothing. I explained what I wanted done was taken care of by another stylist. She was very nice and did a nice job except for the fact that I asked for her to blow dry my hair into loose waves and she really didnt give that to me but all in all she did good. Being a fellow stylist, I know that when someone walks into the salon its your job to make them feel welcomed and the front desk woman did not do that at all. I regret not asking her name but thats not how you treat people.

Waited over 30 minutes for a hair cut. Then as people kept coming in, a stylist said the wait was about an hour. Not once was this mentioned to me. If I knew when I came in that the wait was an hour, I wouldve gone to a different location. Then the stylist that did my hair kept trying to sell me product that I told her I already have, saying that my scalp is dry. I got a second opinion and I was told the exact opposite; the product that the stylist was trying to sell me wouldve messed up my hair. My hair cut was fine, I only got a trim, but the wait was terrible.

Loudi is by far the best stylist at Hair Cuttery in Sunrise!! Dont know what I would do without her. Ive gone through three hair stylist at this location, and LOUDI is by far the best there is at the Hair Cuttery!! Not once have I ever been unsatisfied with the work that she has done, from the highlights, to cutting/trimming my hair, blowdrying and even curling my hair. She is very dedicated to her job, and is great at what she does. I recommend Loudi to anyone that is looking for someone who does great work!!!!

Plz I would say not to go here plz this is a place were they will cancel ur appointment if they get customer who is spending more I had and appointment got cancel twice and I see that person is doing someone els hair saying that oh I think they forgot to put in diary were I made sure that I got the day and time I called and conferm it 2 time and I get there they say no I am already booked sorry I dont have time for today this place is a cheater

I got my hair done yesterday by Logan. He was amazing! I was looking to completely change the style of my hair. I got a haircut and partial highlights. He did such a good job. Always made sure I was comfortable. I am going back next month do to full highlights! I would definitely suggest going here to get your hair done. Great job, Logan!

I found a hair stylist that I will stay with and recommend. Loudi is a hair stylist that takes pride in her work. She asked me how I wanted my hair styled and cut it accordingly. When Loudi finished my cut, I was extremely pleased with her expertize. I take pride in my appearance and thanks to Loudis work Im ready for a photo shoot.

Never in my life I had such bad hair salon experience. Starting with an unwelcoming reception, continued with a cutter that had no idea how to cut and of course ended in a disastrous haircut that needed a visit at a real hair salon to fix. Cant say anything good about this place.
