Continued: 2. A friend of mine is getting married, and instead of bridal shower, she wanted the bridesmaid, herself and me (maid of honor), to get a spa day or something. So I again, called multiple times, leaving messages and finally sent an email to the address provided on the website. Got a response from "Nora" who asked if we could "possibly make it for Friday, instead of Saturday" The whole reason to book on a Saturday is so everyone was off work (which Im sure makes sense to most of you who probably work M-F). I stated no, it would have to a Saturday. A month goes by, no response. I finally email back end of June and ask again if we are all set, no response. Another month goes by, we are end of July now...I call. A woman with broken English answers the phone (which I can only assume its Nora at this point...because shes the only one Ive ever spoken to there and who has NO customer service skills whatsoever). I remind her about the email, etc...tell her its 5 girls for the 22nd of August. She immediately asked if I can do it Friday, and I reminded her per our conversation via email, it was for Saturday only. Mentioned the coupon ($129 massage, reflexology, facial, scalp massage, chilled wine) and asked if I would need to bring the coupons with me. She then says "I will need a credit card on file, because if someone doesnt show up you will be billed the full amount to your credit card." I said "this is a cash only coupon, and unless someone dies Im pretty sure we will all make it." and then provided her my credit card number, which I felt extremely uncomfortable doing. The day before, she calls to confirm. I make it VERY clear that all 5 of us will be there, and we will be getting the full package. She says "if you can go on the website and fill out and print the registration forms that will be great." I go on the website and there are NOT on the site at all. I call back and say "the forms youd like are not listed on your site by the way." She says "okay thats fine just come in and you can fill them out when you get here, please be a few minutes early." We show up at 9:40am for 10am appts. We walk in, she herself, Nora is standing behind the desk...didnt greet us, didnt even look at us. And then says "Valerie?" trying to figure out which one of us booked it...which was myself. I walk up to the counter (while the bride to be and bridesmaids are standing behind me filling out their paperwork), and she says "$645"....I hand her $800. She gives me a puzzled look and I say, that is for the gratuity. She says "oh okay thanks". I then say "oh this is the bride to be! (in a very excited voice because that is what originally she should have done)...and she gives a fake smile and the process for all of us starts. The therapists come out and call us and we start our spa day. Unfortunately I dont have enough characters to finish it all...but. She later argued about the money after the spa day. $129.00 20$ Gratuity (25.80, rounded to 26) =$155.00 x 5 people=$775 (gave her $800). She then proceeds to say "those girls each had 2 therapists work on them, where you only had one." First of all, thats NOT my problem for staffing, that is YOURS....second of all, Im not a mind reader....and you never told me that. So the woman standing with me said "we paid you the money, however you disperse it between your therapists is on you." We turned around and walked out. I went as far as canceling my credit card in case the money-hungry Nora decides to charge whatever she feels like. Again, the employees are worth it...everything else is not. We never even got a thank you!!!

First, let me start by saying Im not a review type of person. I work for an extremely large corporation, and my job is mostly based on surveys...so I know the impact of them. However, with my 2 encounters for this place, a review is absolutely needed. 1. My wonderful amazing fiancé purchased off Groupon a package deal for the spa for me for Valentines Day ($129 value, I think originally $345 or so). I called MULTIPLE times to schedule a massage, always getting a voicemail. I thought to myself, for a Groupon deal alone, you should have a receptionist available knowing youll be busy with calls and appointments. That was not the case. Finally, after they returned my call, I booked my package, for April. Giving them at least 3 weeks until my actual appointment. The day before they call to confirm (which email or text would be preferred), and immediately started asking me if I could come back in multiple trips for my package, or if I wanted to change the package at all that he had purchased. First, he bought me that because of the actual package and he knew Id really enjoy it. (massage, reflexology, facial, wrap and wine). I stated no, I cannot and will not come multiple trips and I want the package to remain exactly how it was. (confused by the way of why this was even asked, but Ill get to that later). I show up, and was NOT greeted....until I said hello and the woman at the desk with broken English named Nora said hello. I was like, whoa, this is not normal for a spa especially one of their nature (very beautiful inside). Fast forward. The services provided by the technicians are the ONLY reason why I returned here for my most recent trip. The employees she has there, are the only reason she is probably still in business...because they are extremely good at what they do. Finishing the spa day, I walk out to the waiting area, where you can have water before you go, etc....and she immediately says "gratuity is X amount" (not how was your massage, or your services or I hope you enjoyed....immediately asking for money). The tip is on the full amount of the package, not the Groupon amount (which makes complete sense). I noticed coupons for a "day off with me and my friends, $129 value"...I grabbed some of those, knowing Id be back...tipped her and left. P.S. the therapists only make $20 on the Groupon deal, she pockets the rest. #2 coming next. (Non stop calls and texts since I put the review up also).

Horrible. Tech simply applied a mask during my facial and massaged my head for a few minutes. She had me take off my shirt to massage my arms... during a facial... She was flirting very heavily with me the entire time and i felt like she was ready to jump my bones any minute. I was very uncomfortable and ready to leave. my wife treated me to this for my birthday and i felt absolutely bad that she wasted money on this horrible service. Will never return or refer anyone. Please, save yourself the money and take your business elsewhere. Place is very outdated and you must pay before the service along with tip.

I almost did not go after reading some of the reviews (mainly Valeries) but a friend at work said it was a great place. I did not have any issues - other than they did not immediately answer the phone... so I called back and it was worth it. I loved the room I was in - vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, like a mini-lodge. Megan (my masseuse) did a wonderful job. I was so relaxed afterwards. I would definitely recommend the place - try to get Megan if you can, but Im sure the others would have done a great job as well.
