The true nature of this company was revealed in how they handled a mistake they made when repairing my roof. They improperly repaired a leak, which led to additional leaks the VERY NEXT DAY, which caused water damage, cracks, parts of the popcorn ceiling to fall down, and a 4 inch slope to the ceiling. While they returned that week to repair the new leaks AS THE WORK WAS WARRANTIED, they refuse to repair or reimburse us for the damage their mistake caused to our ceiling. In addition, ALRC promised us to provide pictures of all work being done. However, they claim the photos were erased off their camera accidentally, and they will not explain to me what or how the repairs were done -they just ignore my requests. I have emails where Randy states he will provide pictures of the work, and we also used them once before and pictures were provided. Now that the work done is questionable, they conveniently dont have the pictures. We are not the only people who have experienced this problem. Disputes filed on Angies List and on the Better Business Bureau also complain of similar problems. We thought we did our research on this company, but now I must wonder how hard it is for a company to post fake positive reviews about themselves? 7/29/15 RESPONSE TO RANDY AT ALRCs COMMENTS: WHAT RANDY STATES IS NOT TRUE. IN ADDITION, AFTER POSTING OUR REVIEW, THAT EVENING I RETURNED HOME AND OUR ROOF WAS AGAIN LEAKING IN THE SAME SPOT THAT WAS REPAIRED. I CONTACTED RANDY, AND HE DOES NOT RESPOND, SO NOW HE IS NOT STANDING BEHIND THE WARRANTY IN THE CONTRACT WE SIGNED. WE ARE NOT TRYING TO TAKE ADVANAGE OF THIS COMPANY. WE SIMPLY WANT THE COMPANY TO DO THE RIGHT THING, STAND BEHIND THE WARRANTY, AND IF THEY TRULY DID ERASE THE PHOTOS OF THE REPAIRS BY ACCIDENT, THEN SIMPLY EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT REPAIRS WERE DONE ON THE SECOND LEAK....If you choose to do business with this company, be sure to INSIST THAT PHOTOS WILL BE PROVIDED AND HAVE THIS IN THE CONTRACT. OTHERWISE, YOU HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING WHAT WAS DONE, OTHER THAN THEIR WORD.

I hardly ever write these reviews, but I was compelled to in this case. A Licensed Roofing Company was one of the best companies I have ever used. They were extremely professional, highly competent and completed the job in less time than estimated. Let me give you a real example on how awesome this company is. It’s summer in South Florida when I had the new roof installed. When they removed the old roof they had to wait for the inspection to begin the installation. It was a holiday weekend so we would have to wait from Friday until Tuesday for the inspector. Our inside temp was almost 90 degrees and the AC was running non-stop to try to cool the place. I did not think it would last three days. I called owner Sarah Harris on Friday afternoon telling her we were dying from the heat. She answered her cell at lunch (yes, she gives you her cell in case you need anything). She said she would ask the Chief Inspector to make an exception and allow them to continue the work so we could be cool. He agreed and her roofers were able to continue working during the weekend. Another example of how great they are is their cleanup. Every day they would clean all the debris from around the home. Because they knew we had dogs they were especially careful about picking up nails and other sharp items. During the job they called every day just to make sure everything is okay and to update you on their progress. I can’t say enough about Sarah Harris and this company. Don’t even consider using anyone else. I own 8 homes and I have worked with numerous contractors, including roofers. They are no comparison to A Licensed Roofing Company. Not even close. Just a note, this is a woman-owned roofing company. There is a difference! This woman is competing in a business that is completely dominated by men. To do this, she has to be the best to stand out and she is. She is the GI Jane in the roofing world! In conclusion, my roof by far is the nicest one in the neighborhood. Their work and everything about them is just outstanding.

When I purchased my house 3 years ago. I didnt anticipate having to replace the roof so soon but it was 27 years old and on its last leg. As many I received several quotes. A Licensed Roofing Company was the third quote (I obtained 6 total). Randy came out with his crew on Friday and they just took action. Jumped on the roof measured the roof came down and explained everything to me. Saturday he came out and went over the quote with me. They say go with your gut and my gut was telling me to go with this company. I still had 3 other companies lined up and wanted to give them an opportunity so after hearing what they had to say and seeing their quotes. Even two of the quotes were the same as A Licensed Roofing Company. One was lower than A Licensed Roofing Company. I felt the urge to go with A Licensed Roofing Company. Since they use the new system with TU Max and not hot mop. I called my city inspector and asked him how he feels about both systems and he advised that the hot mop system is being phased out for liability issues with the kettle cause burns on employees and blowing up. He said ultimately you have to go with your gut. My gut told me A Licensed Roofing Company was the company. I called them up and they arrived and tour off my roof in one day and replaced the wood and facia. Julio is the foreman I am assuming and is such a great guy. All of them are such great guys. Seriously, they are an amazing crew!! From start to finish the company always answered my question, addressed all my concerns and just did it all. I recommend them to a family friend as well since I was just entirely impressed with them. Again, amazing all around and such a great experience!!

WOW, WHAT A FANTASTIC ROOFING CO..... As you all Know, Hurricane Irma is fastly approaching the Florida and our roof began leaking on Labor Day (Monday), we called A Licensed Roofing Company and advised Tracy we live in Weston and gave her a brief description of my roof leak issues, To my absolute amazement, they had a team out to my home within 3 hours and upon the roofing inspection they revealed to me the rotted beams and damaged roof tiles etc, we agreed on an emergency repair and the team began working Immediately, mind you Hurricane Irma is coming and these guys are on my roof making sure my family and I are going to be dry for the storm, the workers were extremely professional and detailed in the work order, and my roof is now ready for the storm! I cant thank everyone at A Licensed Roofing Company enough for there professionalism, there promptness, and most importantly there humanity. Definitely changed my outlook on roofers. Bottom line, if you want the greatest roofing experience possible, I highly recommend Sarah and her team at A Licensed Roofing Company for all your roofing needs. Sarah is a Rockstar!!! My mothers roof had several leaks due to Hurricane Irma that passed through Davie, We called A Licensed Roofing Company and several other roofing companies in Davie ( wont say any names ) and lets just say this, I understand that all the roofers and landscapers are really busy however my mother is elderly and I am not local so I went online and found local roofers with good reviews and Sarah was the only one that answered the phone, listened to my concerns and ultimately took care of my mothers roof all while her home and her office in Davie were running on generators and they are not taking on any new customers. My mother, myself and my husband truly appreciate the sincerity shown and the humanity given by the team members who showed up to complete the roof. Sarah, we thank you, Tracy, Julio and all the wonderful team members at A Licensed Roofing Company for caring and doing a great job on my Roof!
