I have been a member at this planet fitness for 4 months now. It is a good gym for the cost. I have been lifting for several years now and have been to quite a few gyms. The dumbbells, as previously stated in another review, do not go past 75. Although this is not very heavy, there are several benches and smith press machines. If you get creative there is more than enough for a good workout. There are only a couple cable machines and they tend to get crowded, but I have always been able to do the exercises I want, maybe not in the order I wanted though. I have not found the gym to be overcrowded when I have gone, even during peak hours. As someone else stated, the gym is not focused on the weights as much as the cardio. There is an extensive amount of cardio equipment and I have never had to wait. Additionally, the black card feature that allows you to go to any planet fitness has come in handy for me as I reside in another state as well and there is a PF nearby. I can not speak about the trainer as I have not interacted with one, but a lot of the staff is very friendly and makes a point to say hello and good bye. Ultimately, the gym has everything required for a good workout, is a good price, and is well maintained. It is a nice alternative to my schools gym which is very crowded, small, and does not have adequate equipment.

I love this gym. I go about 11pm-2am every other day. The girl there is so sweet. No one judges (of course a guy will check ya out) and all around awesome. But.... there is this one guy who works there that makes me feel so uncomfortable. He is short, a little bulky, with a dirty blonde/blonde hair. He follows me around the gym, stares hardcore, and is extremely rude to my boyfriend. Even today, my boyfriend was waiting for me after he had taken his showe and got dressed and he went to have a drink of water and the man had said to him "no Sandles period on the gym floor. " which he had not been on. Also, the other day my boyfriend had sat in the lobby to wait for me and he told him only members can sit down. (Im the black card member, he is my guest). My boyfriend had also told me that he stares at him in the locker room. Even if my boyfriend says "hey. How are you?" He doesnt reply... he just stares.. But other than that man, I love it.

It is corporate policy that there is no cell phone use on the gym floor. We believe that members cannot get a good workout while talking on the phone. We believe that other gym members do not want to hear your one sided conversation while they are working out so we enforce the rules maybe a little more than other clubs. The rules and regulations are given out during each tour and sign-up. We have extra copies at the front desk if you need one. Apparently you have not had a conversation with a manager who would be very happy to help you with all your complaints. Our judgment free zone is not for everyone and maybe this is not your kind of gym.

There is most definitely enough equiptment. Cybex work stations and lots of cardio machines, a very spacious layout and your workout can be quick because it is most definietly user friendly. Only one concern for me is- I do like this gym, and it does look clean but is it? I just joined and was dissapointed to find the 2 times I have been here the TRASH CANS in the work out area were overflowing with paper towels...Yuk Looks to me like the clients are doing there job but what about the staff. I hope there is more cleaning being done here than what the members are doing. ...A concerned newBE

I love planet fitness, I feel like I belong at the gym! I mostly use the cardio machines, because I am overweight and Im trying to burn fat, and then Ill worry about toning up. So im not sure how their weight area is. But there is definitely tons of cardio machines, and each one has a personal t.v. The gym is clean and peaceful. Its never usually overcrowded, and the staff has always helped me out, and I every work out.

I went for a day pass while on vacation. A one day pass costs $20. The gym was clean and well organized. The dumbbells only weight up to 75lbs. Plenty of cardio equipment with personal tvs. It had a VERY anti-bodybuilder atmosphere. Everything is purple too. I would consider this gym for people who like to run alot and lift a little weights. Not for someone trying to gain mass.

Ive been using this gym over a year. Its clean & equipped with all one needs for a fitness center. Its spacious & rarely do you have to wait on any machine. The staff has always fulfilled any request I may have had & are considerate of all customers. Its changed my life . The cost is more than reasonable. Thx! Planet Fitness!!

I love the gym so far. As for people commenting on the girls being rude, I dont know if they replaced staff or have the same employees, but all of the girls and rest of the staff have been extremely nice every time Ive been in. They are always helpful and the gym is pretty clean. The hydro massages are awesome, too.

Love how I was told I wouldnt be charged for this month if I cancelled before the 10th, and today the annual fee came out of my bank account. The only reason I was going to cancel is because my insurance gives me a free membership. Now I just think Ill cancel all my families memberships and go elsewhere entirely.

I like that it has personal tvs. I can put an interesting show on and just space out while i do my work out. Best thing for me since i hate working out. Only thing i dont lile is the weird weekend hours. I go after i get off work at midnight and two of my main work out days i have to go to a gym i do not like.

Because of my business travels, Ive visited several different Planet Fitness locations. This one seems a little older than most, but seemed well maintained. My only complaint is the volume of the house music. I had to keep my iPod on full volume with loud songs so I didnt hear it.

An original PF member from before they were popular. Xfer here and they refuse to let me xfer and keep trying to milk me for a setup fee and higher monthly rate. I dont take kindly to being taken for a ride. Ill join a competitor that will appreciate my loyalty.

Good selection and amount of equipment. Everything is in good shape and clean as well. The only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars is the wacky weekend hours. The Ormond location is 24hrs everyday, so why isnt this location?

They even took the Olympic bar out it was the only thing left to where I felt like I was at a gym. They say no judging there but the only one getting judged are the people who actually workout. Its the only gym close so I keep going

The price is great, I believe the staff is very unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and worst of all rude. plenty of equipment, however they are constantly busy. guess you cant beat the price.
