After obtaining three quotes from well-respected HVAC companies, we chose DBK to replace our two Tranes with Carriers. We definitely made the right choice! We don’t usually choose the company with the lowest quote, but we made an exception with DBK because we were so impressed with Troy, the rep who looked at our house and equipment and prepared a thorough and specific quote. Troy and the installers were professional, detailed, thorough, clean, and friendly throughout the entire process. They answered all our questions as they worked, and they tutored us on how to use the many features of the new thermostats before they left. We look forward to having them maintain our equipment for years to come. When Mario and Justin removed the air handlers, we could see something dark that was growing in areas that had been previously hidden. At that point, we decided to add the air purifiers that Troy had told us about when he did the estimate. (We’re really glad we did; my mother’s chronic runny nose cleared up the next day! She must have been allergic to something that was blowing through the air system.) Because of this last-minute change, the men needed to stay until 8:00 p.m. to finish the job. They were just as nice when they left as when they arrived—no complaints about having to work late. We were really impressed with their efforts to keep everything clean—laying down tarps up the stairwell and through the hallway and vacuuming all the dust in the house and garage when they finished. They wore shoe covers every time they came into the house. Jose installed the outside units with much care and consideration for appearance as well as function. The new outside area looks neat and clean—such an improvement over the previous installation! The day after the install, we noticed that the air handler in the garage was louder than the Trane and the upstairs unit had shut down completely. When we called Troy, he and Cesar came immediately and replaced the fan motor in the garage unit and diagnosed the problem in the upstairs unit (a faulty part that needed to be ordered). Juan came and replaced that as soon as the part came in. He even took the time to show me the faulty part and explain why it was causing the system to shut down. Over the next few days, Troy called several times to be sure everything was working satisfactorily. We can’t say enough good things about DBK and definitely will recommend them to our friends. Their price was great and their professionalism was unsurpassed. Well done!

I called 3 companies to give me a quote on replacing my central ac unit. I must admit that all the companies were very good, had decent reviews and the men they sent out to give me quotes were all professional. But Jose Colon and Mario Vallejos of DBK stood out in my mind. They were friendly, emphatic listeners, and courteous. They displayed excellent attention to detail and at no time did they attempt to up-sell the job. I considered the pros and cons of all the quotes and decided to use DBK to do my A/C replacement. An appointment was made for the next day. On the day of the install they arrived early, greeted me and proceeded to do the replacement. They were again very professional and answered any question I posed, taking time to explain in detail what was being done. They finished the install on time, and left the work areas clean. Before leaving they went over the operation of the unit, explained how it was more efficient and better for the environment. Mario further explained the guarantees and warranties that accompanied my new unit. Throughout the install they were smiling, and accessible. I was aware of DBKs community involvement and their family oriented company before, and I can say without reservation that their community involvement is matched by their business model and total commitment to getting the job done right the first time. I highly recommend DBK as a company with strong business ethics, fair prices and a caring business model. They have a customer for life.

Had DBK come by to replace my ac unit that was on its last leg (making all sorts of odd noises from the outside unit). They quoted me a few options from patching things up and trying to make it ride to replacing it. I ultimately decided to replace since its an over 10 year old unit. I worked with their purchasing team through all the purchase options and different units before figuring out what best fit us. Install day came today and they got here early am. They did modifications to the box my unit sits on to fix some pinched air flow from my last one. They worked to get the ac back on asap and despite the amount of work ac was back on before the house got too bad. Then they finished up the heater and wrapped up testing. All along the way they answered my stupid questions about what different parts did and those remedial ac 101 questions I probably should know happily. When they were packed up you wouldnt even know theyd been there. Left the area arguably cleaner than it was (Garage was a bit of a mess and they swept up around the work site). All in all they made the costly process of replacing an ac unit much easier to bear. Ill be recommending them to friends and family for sure.

I live in an 80s house and my AC ducts were awful. They were missing insulation and one of my bedroom ducts was smashed and not even working. Troy the sales guy did a thorough and detailed inspection climbing up in both my attics (which my second opinion estimate did not do and wanted me to pay them almost double). He gave me a reasonable estimate and the workers arrived as planned. I have a difficult install due to my vaulted ceilings and the guys got it done. The replaced everything, even took all my vents and washed them and put them back in. Had one mishap where a guy fell and went through my garage ceiling. DBK sent another van of workers who repaired it in no time and it looks like it never happened (free of charge of course). By far one of the most professional and friendly companies I have ever dealt with. Left my house better than they found it. I will be using them for all my home repair needs in the future A++.

Left me start by saying that DBK has been the friendliest and the most understanding HVAC companies Ive ever came across, let alone very KNOWLEDGEABLE of what they are doing! I had contracted two other companies before contacting DBK for an estimate on our AC system and nobody could give me a straight and correct answer on what was wrong with my AC Unit. We spend hundreds of dollars fixing parts that most likely did not need repair. My husband and I were already thinking that we needed to spend for a new unit which we could not afford. Someone referred me to DBK and we said that was our last result. The technician that came to our household was so professional and friendly, i had good vibes from the beginning. After about 30 min. BOOM! he figured out the issue and fixed our AC and the cost was cheap! Its been 3 months now and our AC unit is still on. Thanks DBK for your great help!
