I requested work from Fair Lighting and Electrical to replace/upgrade my electrical panel from 100 amp Wadsworth to a 200 amp panel. Fair installs Eaton panels. The owner came and gave me an estimate - he pulled the permit before he got here, so he knew what city codes were going to need to be adhered to. He was very friendly and professional. He showed me what was wrong with my old panel (water coming in), and explained everything he saw as we looked at everything. He explained I would need a grounding update, new panel, new meter box, and new service cable. He told me that per code, I have to have a CO detector by bedrooms and my circuit breakers labeled, but that I could do both myself and not be charged for that. He then listed line by line my entire quote and how much each item would cost. This experience was much different from the first quote I got from a different company: other company did not pull a permit, did not explain anything to me, and I had to wait for the quote from the company after the guy left, which was then not itemized. When I questioned the pricing compared to the first company I had, Fair explained what he thought would be the difference, but not once did he bash the other company. He also offered financing through my electric company, as they are licensed through First Energy. The four man crew showed up right on time on the scheduled date, and got right to work. All were extremely professional, courteous, and friendly. They even waved and said hi to my toddlers. Even when they thought I wasnt paying attention, they were professional. When they were done they cleaned up everything, and showed me the work. I was very pleased with the equipment, the installation, and the crew. I will use this company again should I ever need work done, and they will be the only electric company I recommend.

Great to work with! The owner came to give the estimate and go over options. We decided to go with his suggestion of LED can lights which are awesome! He wore booties so he didnt track anything in the house even after I told him he didnt have to (The other company did not and they walked all over my brand new area rug with their boots). The crew showed up on time and were very courteous and explained everything to my wife. I stopped at home to see the progress and they put plastic over everything...floors and all. I got home from work and you couldnt even tell they were there other than the new lights! NO DAMAGE TO MY PLASTER CEILING! NO NEED TO REPAIR ANY DAMAGE! This was huge!. My compliments to Dan and his staff!

Great experience, Dan explained everything to me and I signed. John and his newly hired helper done a wonderful job on the install. Kept me in the loop. John spackled a spot on the kitchen wall that they did not create. I respected that a lot. Had to come back out because on of the garage door openers failed. John even called the mfgr. of the unit to get details as it was baffling. Received one unit with two broken glass panels, still waiting on that to be replaced. Im confident it will be handled shortly.

My husband and I have had great experiences with Fair Lighting. They installed new outlets and HDMI cables so we could wall mount our TV over the mantel without cables hanging everywhere. A few months later, they replaced an electric panel at our rental property. They do wonderful work and clean up everything as they go. Ill absolutely continue to use them for future projects!

I was very pleased with the installation of my chandelier. We have an 18 foot ceiling and they installed it with no problem. They were very professional by wearing shoe covers and covering the carpet with drop cloths. They even moved all of the furniture back and took away the trash before they left. I highly recommend them and look forward to using them for future projects.

They came out and rewired things in my house and replaced a breaker box, but left wires hanging off of my house and things were wired illegally. Now Im still stuck with this over priced bill and I have to have things replaced because it was wired wrong. I dont recommend this company
