As a first time builder of my own new home in Concord, Ohio, Berkshire Electric was referred to me by a friend in the construction business. Bill, the sole proprietor, is extremely knowledgeable with local and state electrical codes. He ended up correcting me several time to insure I would never have any issues 1, 5, 10 or 30 years from now. His work is neat and clean, straight line runs all thru the house and continually cleaned his work areas as he moved thru the house. Even on the outlet and switch covers, all the slotted screw heads are perfectly vertical.. All of them! That is attention to detail! Once he started my project, he stayed with it and never let the electrical aspect fall behind schedule. Wish I could say that about all my trades... So it is easy to say, Yes I would defiantly use his services in the future and I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a responsible professional electrician!

Bill, worked on my Century Home in Chardon, OH. The electric in the basement was a mess with a half dozen fuse and breaker boxes. There was knob and tube, and degraded electrical wiring every where with several signs of electrical shorts and smoldering (suprised the house hadnt already burned down). He came in gave me the lowest quote out of 4 contractors and started work rewiring the entire home within days. The quality of work was amazing and he took the time to answer any questions I had. Additionally he made several mid-work changes to the electrical to accomadate changes by me and HVAC contractors working on the property, all of which he was happy to do. As well since I have had many electrical related questions to ask while doing some of my own DIY work and he has always been extremely friendly, patient curtious and helpful. I would recommend him to anyone.

Bill was kind enough to come out to our home in Huntsburg on very short notice and successfully diagnosed and repaired a wiring issue preventing our finished basement ceiling lights from turning on. An issue that the original installer could not quickly fix. He also went above and beyond by quickly and professionally finishing a bathroom vanity light install for us. Bill wired my entire home for a new build here in Chagrin, he made changes in the fly without any issue. Thought of things that I would never had thought of. When I was doing landscape work I recommended him to our Landscape designer. He used Bill and was delighted, I believe Bill now works with them when he is available. I had an issue with the outlets recently, called Bill, he then walked me through it on the phone. Definitely would use Bill in the future.
