As a business owner myself, I see a deep-seated leadership problem at our local Office Depot. Its management is trying to save money by chronically under-staffing the store. The print shop and check out staff are trying to be helpful and are competent, but the impatient customers and their unrealistic workload has them stressed out. Although they try to be courteous to customers, it comes across as strained and insincere. They are more openly grumpy with each other, but I dont blame them for the toxic culture. Its a leadership issue. All of this translates into long wait times for customers, and Ive met my breaking point in which Ill now drive to Orange Citys Staples instead for office supplies and bring copy/print jobs to great local businesses Express Printing and Quality Quickprint who do great work with truly friendly service. Oh for the days when Office Depot had some local competition to keep quality up for customers. (Nen at Office Maxs print shop was a consummate professional, making every customer feel cared for while doing an impeccable technical job with their print jobs.) So sadly, Office Depots efforts to increase their profit margin is backfiring as they lose regular customers like myself. I wouldnt be surprised if this location closes. Or perhaps theyll listen to honest feedback like this and make the appropriate changes?

Mom took my sons hand me down 7 year old laptop in for service, it had limited disk space and they said that they would clean it up. This laptop was $400 new, so I told her not to spend much. She was told that she needed a new hard drive and that the computer was almost new and a very expensive, so she needed to keep it and they would replace the hard drive and transfer her files. They charged her $300 for a worthless laptop that needed to be put down, she uses it for Facebook and email so she doesnt have any files to transfer. She is 75 and has no idea how things work so she gets taken advantage of, she paid the $300 in advance, which is not usual for computer repair service. This is fraud and preying on the elderly. Shame on you. She could of had a brand new windows 10 computer for $200 more.

Great service! While shopping today I noticed an item I had been meaning to buy. I knew the price was much cheaper on Amazon, and asked if they would match the price. The cashier said since it was not sold and shipped by Amazon (or appeared not to be) that it did not qualify. I said I would have to pass, but the manager overheard me and I was able to get it for the Amazon price. BOTH the cashier and manager were very polite, and processed the transaction quickly. I shop here often and will continue to shop at this store.

BE AWARE!!!!! with Office Depot Service I took my I phone to replace a broken screen. The manager that replaced the screen damaged my phone. I came back to get it fixed and they only made it worse. The third day I came back to get my money back and the store manager refused to give it back. My advice is to not go there to fix your phone. They do not know anything about it Total scam!

Listen up administrators and faculty, outside costs to cover typed homework is outrageous. At Office Depot on Woodland its $1. 25 per min to have associate print childs assignment off of Volusia County School-- VPortal! Computer fees. . . . . .in addition to the dollar something per page!

The employee that helped us was friendly & efficient. I sat at the Service Center desk to wait on copies to be printed, I looked down & saw how filthy the floor & wall in that waiting area were. They cant afford to have someone clean the floor - ?

Their prices are pretty high but the staff are all really knowledgeable and ready to help with anything you need. If they dont have something in stock, they will order it for you.
