We loved our stay at Lago Mar. We went during a very busy week but still managed to achieve total relaxation. Our room was very large and clean. The hotel itself was very clean. One of the cleanest Ive seen for a beach front resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nicole.. our waitress at the pool and beach was so awesome. She made our trip fun! Loved the resort feel! If you are planning a trip to ft lauderdale look no further. This is the perfect place for couples of all ages with or without children. You do pay for it though, everything is charged to your room with an automatic 18% gratuity. The only downside is that you have to take a cab to get everywhere outside of the resort, but that also allows for more privacy, relaxation, and allows you to get away from the chaotic city life. The fact that this resort has two pools and a private beach is a huge sellling point. Families with children did tend to hog the pool chairs, I do wish the resort had a thirteen and over policy for the lounge chairs. They tend to go quickly and most of them werent being used, they were filled with used towels and toys. Overall, the food was pretty good too.. but pricey. We loved our stay at the Lago Mar and would love to return!

I went here on vacation and it was phenomenal. I did have to ask for several room keys because mine did not work, but that was fine because I did not have to spend much time there. I mostly spent my time at the pool side bar, at the beach, playing shuffleboard, mini golfing, swimming in the pool, swinging in a hammock, playing table tennis, or eating dinner at an incredible restaurant with the best cornflake crusted chicken I have ever had the honor to try. Now, there were some things that needed minor adjustments. • The mini golf course had dirt and leaves scattered all over the course. Maybe they could leave brooms there so that the guests could clear the path if it was bothering them. •The shuffleboard course was cracked. I would aim for a disk and hit a crack and go airborne. They should probably try to get someone to take out the course and just re-cemement and just start over. •One last thing, take away the flossing time on the pool. If there is no life guard on duty in the first place, then why give it a closing time. If they can fix these things then my experience might have been a little better.

When we first arrived to the hotel I tried to check in and was told that my room had been cancelled. I was here with the conference and it was not clear if we wanted to come a day early that we could stay in the same room at the conference Hotel. So me and a friend chose a cheaper hotel close by. So when checking-in they cancelled my whole reservation even for the conference days. Then the attendant checking me in States I hope I can find you something. I found this very rude. Miraculously he phones me a ring of course it wasnt the suite that I was supposed to get but one of their standard regular rims. This was fine with me the rooms are very nice although and some friends rooms even though the Suites are very big and some of them are dated Force could be cleaned a little bit better and theyre tight squeezes in the bathroom. What you pay for in this hotel is access to the beach. They have lots of activities concierge service is good. On the whole this hotel is a nice place to stay However for the money I would have chose the previous Hotel I was at.

Wir sind zum dritten mal hier zu Gast und kommen immer wieder gern. Es herrscht eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und machen einen gepflegten Eindruck. Auch die Größe ist gut. Der Pool ist sehr schön mit ausreichend Liegen. Man kann Tennis, Tischtennis, Schach, Kicker und Minigolf spielen. Ein schöner Spielplatz für die Kleinen ist auch vorhanden. Die direkte Strandlage ist phantastisch. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem ein absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel.

Lago Mar, best resort, great environment, Super kids friendly. The room was amazing with the pool and ocean view at the same time, couldnt be better. Great Staff, claudia Gutierrez, event Director was super helpful at all times, Ursula Food and beverages Director was amazing, cant forget breakfast while we were here, buffet style, clean service, waiters outstanding costumer service, front desk, housekeeping force,thanks for maintaining our suite spotless, and bellman team always sharp, definitely a beautiful place to spend my family vacations, the beach is well maintained along with the other facilities, will recommend their shop for little gifts. Great inventory. Over all a keeper. However is reading this review, please give your self the opportunity to stay here, 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Me my wife Diana and my two kids Mia and Austin, will book another visit to have lots of fun at Lagomar Resort fort Lauderdale. Thank you all for a fenomenal experience. Best. Torregroza Family.

My family and I loved our stay at Lago Mar. We went during the 4th of July weekend and we still founded total relaxation. Our room (A junior Suite) was very large and clean. The hotel itself was spotless. The staff was friendly from the moment we got to the resort door! The pool area, the private beach, the restaurant, the Soda Shop, and the Pool bar were fantastic and the staff was awesome. For a couple retreat or family vacation in the Fort Lauderdale area this is the resort to visit, look no further! The food was great, but a bit pricey, the resort charges an automatic 18% gratuity on everything; In the other hand, the resort have in all rooms free Wi-Fi and parking is free (including Valet Parking). The resort is very private and quiet; in other words, very relaxing! Overall, We loved our stay at the Lago Mar and we will return to it!

We loved it even with an infant. This is the best resort in Fort Lauderdale. Id recommend this resort for kids between the ages of 6 to 14. Theres so much to keep them occupied. The pool, games, mini put, beach, sports area, soda shop...the list goes on was great. We checked in and didnt like our room because it was on a lower floor facing an open patio with no view. Ron the bellman called the front desk and had us moved to a higher floor. We were so much happier with our room. We wouldnt have cared but our 6 month old needed naps and early nights so a view was a must. The staff were great. Very friendly and professional. The food was incredible. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was a great breakfast buffet with an omelette bar and all the good stuff. The food is reasonably priced. All in all, Id definitely recommend this resort.

Es muy lindo. Tiene playa privada con reposeras que te ofrece el hotel, dos piscinas, las habitaciones amplias. Un gimnasio pequeño pero completo con una linda vista al exterior. Varios juegos para los niños. El menu de comida a la habitacion es acotado pero la del restaurante es amplio y rico. Recomiendo las ensaladas. Muy ricas. Un plus... es q las habitaciones tienen un sector con cafetera tostadora y cubiertos.

An Oasis in Ft. Lauderdale. We went on a mid-week staycation for our 25th Anniversary. I had seen this on a travel website and went to check it out in person. We met a fabulous front desk reservation extrordinaire named Keithra Brown who, when I told her we were coming for our anniversary, hooked us up BIG TIME. I had asked for a king/ocean-view room, and wound up on a ground floor/walk out the back sliding door onto the private beach/king SUITE! The accommodations were outstanding and the staff was friendly and attentive. We ate a snack (and had a drink) at the snack bar by the pool, but mostly laid at the beach. In-room breakfast was quick and they accommodated my special request for bananas and walnuts in my pancakes (never be afraid to ask), yummy! 24 hours in paradise, quick get away, we will definitely do it again!!
