I shouldve known that they werent good from when I first walked in and I nearly choked from all the smoke in there (which was from all the heat they use from the flat irons etc.) The first time I went there, I wanted to get my hair conditioned and treated and ended up with my hair getting cut off in the middle. I didnt notice it until a couple days after going there, so I told myself maybe my hair was already like that? A month later, I went there again! (Stupid decision) and wanted to get my hair conditioned again! This time, after she finished, I had a whole bunch of spots in my hair that were cut off AND everytime I combed my hair, My hair would just break off each time and you could hear it breaking! *I nearly cried* and all she said was "I dont know mami, Youre hair is damaged". Well obviously it is after she F***ed it up! I was extremly upset. Shes a hair dresser, she should know what products to use on certain people hair, Especially! if theyre not a first time customer.. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER GO THERE.. They dont know what theyre doing! They give dominicans a bad name! Ive went to dominican hair salons before (out of city) and it was nothing like what I experienced at Fanny s salon. HORRIBLE..

Ive been to Dominican salons in Miami and was ecstatic when I moved to SWFL to be able to get my hair done here instead of driving down to my person. I got to the salon early so I could be one of the first people (DR salons get busy usually in Miami), and they were over 30 minutes late to open the door! I asked them in English for a wash and set (wash hair and blow dry straight), then I can hear them in Spanish not wanting to take care of me, then one person reluctantly takes me from the two. I asked them how much a wash and set would be before we started, they wanted like $50! Thats close to what I pay to get it relaxed, hell no! If they were at least the slightest bit nice, I would have probably stayed. Extremely rude those two ladies were! A previous reviewer was right... "GIVES DOMINICANS A BAD NAME!" Go to Final Touch Barber and Beauty. Its so far from me (San Carlos Park), but they are so nice and do a great job.

Asked for an updo for an occasion, the stylist did a wonderful job. Keep in mind, my hair is extremely thin and above my shoulders but she worked with what she had. Fannys beauty salon is also very reasonable!

I went to go call for an appointment and they couldnt even pick up a call and when they did I ended up being put on hold for almost an hour, HORRIBLE
