If I could give these guys more stars I definitely would. I RUINED my hair, first I tried to color it, then when that didnt work I thought to save it by lightening my hair - BIG FAT NOPE! I called these guys up in tears Saturday at 2:30 pm (They close at 3) in a desperate attempt to find someone to fix the monstrosity that had become my hair. Everyone else, even those open for several more hours, stated I would need to come in for a consultation to be scheduled to fix it later in the week. Im sorry, but I needed it fixed today as there was no way I could work the front desk of my dental office with this hair. A half hour before they closed, Rainbow room told me to come on in and well get it fixed. No consult, no upsales, nothing but understanding and compassion. Wendy was the stylist, and she is the absolute best. She took my pink,red, white, and brown streaked hair and within an hour and a half she had me right as rain. The color is fabulous and all blends together in a natural way. She was so sweet and understanding and explained how and why she had to do every step to repair what I had done. She also took time to give me tips on care and different styles I can do. All of this done AFTER HOURS! I cant stress that enough, she had stayed late to help me. Her and the front desk woman ( I didnt get her name) were both just so nice - they took a horrible, embarrassing, situation for me and completely turned it around. I couldnt thank them enough!

I really wanted to love this place. The salon is really cute, very clean, and the people that work there seem great. I, unfortunately, will not be returning after my appointment there. I made an appointment with Holly and went there for the first time. I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted and we ended up deciding on a balayage. Great! I was super excited. She explained that because my hair was on the darker side, it would take more than one appointment. I have been through this before and knew that it wouldnt be an issue for me. I was expecting her to go in and add a few highlights and then add a few more every time I came back. Thats what I had done at my old salon. What I got was a hideous orange mess and $125 less in my bank account. I cried the entire way home. They were kind enough to refund my money after a phone call, but now I have to spend probably twice as much to get it fixed.

I visited Laura this past Saturday with such a mess on top of my head - I had been dying my hair myself for who knows how long, and needed a fix up. Laura was exceptionally knowledgeable, and gave me many options to tame my wretched mane. She suggested I use organic hair color with a gloss to revitalize my hair and reduce the risk of breakage that bleaching would most likely cause. I knew I chose the right salon! My experience was very pleasant, and I couldnt ask for a better team of ladies to help me! My hair looks and feels great, and I happily rescheduled to continue the "treatment plan" to bring my air back to its original color and beauty. I also purchased Rainbow Rooms own shampoo and conditioner to get the most benefit from my experience. You wont be disappointed!

Recently I moved from California to Ohio and was dreading having to find a new hairstylist...but what a pleasant surprise awaited me at The Rainbow Room Salon. Everyone there was very nice and accommodating...especially Angela. Arriving without an appointment, she took time between her clients to give me a free cut and color consultation. Angela listened intently not only to my likes and dislikes, but working with me was able to suggest coloring options to address my concerns and a cut that works well with my features and hair type. Fitting me into her schedule the following day, she colored my hair to perfection, cut and styled my hair so as to be manageable and easy to maintain. If you’re looking for a friendly, top-notch stylist you won’t be disappointed in Angela!

I came in based on good reviews that this salon was great at fixing coloring mistakes. I wanted to fix the orange tones in my hair from bleaching it, so that I could remove the previous red color and achieve a platinum blonde one. My stylist was Holly and she was wonderful! She told me that my hair was unfortunately not healthy enough to be lightened with bleach. However, not only did they find a way to lighten it using organic color, they made my hair feel softer and healthier than it has felt it in a long time! They were very helpful and attentive to their customers needs. The prices were reasonable and I even bought some products that they had used on my hair. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend giving it a try!

I had a great hair experience at the Rainbow Room. The receptionist as well as all of the other girls working were all very friendly and welcoming. I am a newer client to Wendy and I have never, in my life, loved my hair color as much as I do now, nor have I ever gotten as many compliments as I have since her doing it. Wendy is so professional and personable I look forward to seeing her every appointment. She gave me all the necessary steps I needed to take care of my newly dyed hair, as well, which as been so helpful! I am so thoroughly impressed and will definitely being going back to the Rainbow Room. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and I will be recommending the salon to all of my girl friends for future reference!

Rainbow Room is a pleasant salon offering sophisticated results in spite of the juvenile name. Two standouts: Jenna and Angela. Angela does a wicked updo; just the right amount of slouch amid weaving, braiding and a ton of invisible bobby pins. She can work magic. Jenna is a style/cut/color pro! She is excellent with all ages and has a great eye for color...plus a good ear for what her customers are expressing. She has good advice and I really like that her workstation is by a window with natural light (unlike certain hip, moody salons where the dim light yields poor judgement and blown-out highlights). Rainbow Room also offers super early a.m. appointments that accommodate us working folk. Nice!

Rainbow Room is a great salon conveniently located across the street from Porter Public Library (Dover Center and Center Ridge) in Westlake. They have a great nail technician and all of the stylists really go the distance in creating a nice look for their clients. They obviously take pride in their work and really listen during the consult to deliver excellent results. People look good when they leave. No one is pushy and if you want it all theyve got it, but if you want only one service, thats ok, too. Wendy gives a precision cut and does mens hair well, too. My services (hair and nails) turned out great and the appointments started on time, so dont be late. Make sure youre going somewhere after!

CAN Posted on 05/01/12 I have been a regular client of Rainbow Room for over a year. I cannot tell you the compliments I receive on my new hairstyle: color, cut, highlight and Keratin. Jenna is a fantastic stylist with great insight. The Keratin treatment has saved me hours and hours on my previously dry frizzy hair. I love the online booking feature and very friendly hours. Becky is my first choice for Shellac nails and spa pedicure. I ve tried many salons over the past few years looking for the right fit, and I ve found it. Customer service is key at Rainbow Room, and it is apparent in how you are treated by everyone, including the friendly reception staff.
