Ive been going to this ulta for a couple of years because sadly, it is the only one near me. Im a huge makeup junkie and make frequent stops here. I find it outrageous that despite all the awful reviews and what a big company ulta is in the cosmetics world, they have such lazy, uneducated, awful staff. First off, their girls arent properly trained. They always have the worst attitudes, seem fed up, tired, annoyed. To where they will ruin your mood and shopping experience. Anyone can have a bad day- but this is what every girl is like EVERY TIME. Secondly, for a place that sells beauty products and services, youd THINK theyd put a little more effort into what they look like, but aside from maybe 2 girls, everyone else looks like they rolled out of bed and didnt even comb their hair. Im not expecting to walk in and find anyone looking like a supermodel, but employees are the face of a company, and they clearly dont take any pride in what they do. Third, these girls dont know anything about makeup, not even enough to make a suggestion or answer a question. Which takes me back to- theyre not properly trained. Lastly. The store is beyond disorganized. The shelves are dirty. The testers are a mess- when there are any. Summarily, if it wasnt for the convenience of the location, Id never go here again. I could name quite a few times when the customer service was so unbelievably poor any other person would have probably made a scene. They have a lot to learn.

Ive gone to this store a few times, and never have I ever been greated or asked if I needed assistance. I observed several employees just standing around talking with each other. Luckily, as a product junkie, I tend to research before I buy, to ensure a product is right for me. Several products had testers out, but that particular product was not in stock. When I asked an associate for help, it was disappointing that a customer knows more about product than those selling it. Overall, I love Ulta stores, as they offer great products, but this particular store is VERY disappointing.

I went to this Ulta because its the closest beauty store nearby. And while I did spend a good chunk of money there, it was definitely not because of the staff. I had about three employees walked by me and not say a word nor did they offer to help me. Then while I was juggling all of my purchases in my hand, no one offered me a bag. No one offered to help me find anything. They seemed more concerned about one of their employees new glasses then they did about making sure the customers were being taken care of. If you shop here, prepared to be on your own.

Horrible service and/or no service from the staff. One of the salon staff was mopping the floor with straight bleach during the time I was shopping and I had a severe bleach inhalation exposure. I called the manager and she said, "Oh, that employee loves to use bleach when she cleans!" Clueless and four hours later I am still have severe symptoms. Steer clear of this Ulta and I would recommend CVS, Walgreens,Target or Sephora if you need beauty products!

I called twice about a question I had and both times I was put on hold for 14+ minutes. The third time I called, I asked for a manager straight away and had my question answered. The excuse I was given was that it was busy there. Now I work in retail and I know how crazy it can be, but leaving a customer on the phone for more than 5 minutes on hold is absolutely ridiculous. Be forewarned: the staff doesnt care about their customers.

I came here just on vacation and on a whim decided today was the day I wanted education on makeup. Doris and Brandon are both amazing people and deserve promotions and raises! They both educated me on products and brands and even gave me a small makeover. Doris slipped me her email if I had anymore questions and Brandon gave me a small sample for my sunburn. I spent $300 on what they showed me and regret nothing!

This review is about the salon specifically, not the store. I had a bad first experience with an OPI gel manicure a few weeks ago. The salon manager, Mandy, turned everything around! She gave me another manicure, done the way it should have been in the first place, and she was so kind and friendly! I will continue to get the OPI gel manicures with Mandy from now on. If you can, treat yourself to this service!

Ashlee Bennett is hands down the best hair stylist I have ever been to. I have NEVER left her chair disappointed and I can not think of a single negative thing to say about her or my hair. I get compliments on my hair daily and cant say enough about how amazingly talented she truly is. If you are looking for a new stylist, give her a try, you will never look back. I wont go to anyone else!

I dont know if all employees of the Ulta companies are this unwelcoming or not, but I found the stores customer service lacking. I had a question about a product and it took 30 minutes and 3 people later to finally recieve and answer. Not to mention rude! Im sticking with buying online, never returning to that store again.

The hair salon staff either does not want new customers, or does not care about business. No one acknowledged me or greeted me when I waited at the desk for about10 minutes. I was going to schedule a haircut, but finally walked out because I felt so unwelcome. Im never going there for any hair services!

Not impressed :( the sales people arent helpful!! I went in cause I had a gift certificate. I asked for help on foundation, right n the middle of helping me, she left 2 help someone else?!? I still needed her help.... So needless 2 say I will never go back!!

I went to ulta hair salon to get my hair done for prom. I told the stylist I want a certain hairstyle I even send her video on the hairstyle and she just end up doing regular curls that I could have done by myself at home. The hairstylist was also rushing.

Customer service specifically at the registers are very inattentive. Seemed more concerned with doing each others hair than helping me find a product I had used in the past. I did mention I was looking for something. Maybe next time will be better

I have gone to Ulta at Bell Tower a number of times because of the convenient location plus they sell Bare Essentials. From now on I will order by mail from another retailer. The staff has been so unhelpful and rude...every time.

Dont go here! Lots of sales people but all try 2 steer u to their nook. At checkout I said I was an Ulta club member & Nailysse said "woo" & didnt ask if I wanted 2 use my points. When I asked, she said well its 2 late now.
