1st experience- I went into Bev Smith Toyota in Fort Pierce. I was a first time car buyer. The experience took a down fall when they called me into the dealership a week later after getting the car. Mind you I signed all the paper work. The price was agreed upon. Everything was solidified in black and white! I get told I need $1,500 more that the bank is requiring it. I told Bev Smith that they better get that money. I never agreed to that, and also everything the day of the purchased was confirmed. I was told this is the down payment, I was told the bank approved me. Everything was signed for. Long story short after waiting an hour and being asked if I can borrow money from my mom, dad, friends, and everybody. I left with wasting my time. Because I didnt have to put the money down after all. 2nd experience: I went in to service my 2011 Toyota Corolla. I sat by the entrance with my boyfriend and daughter where if someone walked in and took the time to look they can spot us very easily.. I waited over two hours for a wheel alignment to be done. I then asked my boyfriend to go to our service guy and ask for an update. He tells us that he had paged us 6 times. That is a lie because we were in the building and never ONCE did I hear my name be called. Nor did he ever come in and try to look for me. Best part is I waited two hours for him to tell me they didnt do the wheel alignment! Supposedly my back axle was bent but when I took my car else where they stated that was false. During my wait I was able to experience someone elses bad experience. My boyfriend and I over heard a sales person talking very disrespectful to an elder foreign woman. He was talking to this woman as though she was slow and she was far from that. She knew what she wanted and she wasnt going to leave without it. The frustration you heard in the sales man voice was disgusting! 3rd experience: I went in to trade my car 12/01/2016. I wanted to see what I would be eligible for. I knew I wanted lower payments. Well I wasted a whole day with multiple sales reps trying to get me to pay over $400. More than my original payment. It was to the point I had to get nasty with them to make them understand. It was as though they kept pushing me to do what they wanted. They could care less about what I wanted. So I talked to another rep, he found me a 2017 Yarius IA that got my the lower payments I wanted. I was semi pleased. But I wanted an older model car and was told I could not get that. They refused to even try when I asked them to put it in so I can see the results. I was told it is a waste of time. Yet another car dealership told me I could have got an older car. I was then AGAIN called in a week later. After signing all the paper work and everything was contracted! I was told the bank RAISED my payment ! In turn making the payments more then my original. Some how he lowered the payments by a couples dollars literally from my original. Only after I fought and argued.I agreed to a certain amount and signed for everything and took the car off the lot a week prior! Which I still have all the paper work.I told Jorge who no longer works there , (I wonder why) I wanted my car back. I was told they didnt have my car. He didnt know what to do. He sat and gave me two options. I had to either accept the payments or be without a car until they figure something out. That is fraud! I am now stuck with a car I dont want because they refused to give me my other car so I can go else where! I am in the middle of fighting this. I will be contacting a lawyer as well. I have all the paper work I signed the first time that looks no different then what I was forced to sign the second time. I am a mother with a job in Florida. I could not go with out a car due to Bev Smith. Never again am I dealing with this place. I was then offered two free tanks of gas to put a good review. Well, here you go Mike and Jorge! Heres your good review! P.S-- re-post since they want to delete it.

First of all, I am not going to name anyone in particular because the reason I am writing this review is not necessarily because of an individual but because of the circumstances in which they work. Here goes. We were referred to this store by a neighbor who said she received great service there. She called her salesman to let him know that we were on our way. As soon as we pulled up we were greeted by this person and welcomed into the showroom. He had a customer at another table so we were sat at another table and offered a drink. While we were waiting we had the opportunity to look around and what we saw was far from impressive. The main desk that I suppose was a reception desk was a mess and falling apart. It so reminded me of an old Super 8 motel. Yep, thats the one. Ok, lets continue. He brought us a brochure and checked in on us a couple times. Finally, we test drove the vehicle we were interested in and that went well too. Our salesman was still occupied with another customer so we were introduced to the "delivery specialist". His job was to show us available vehicles. Heres where things went to hell real quick. Right from the start we explained to our salesman and now the "specialist" that the Mrs. had mobility issues. What we didnt expect was what was coming next. We got in the car to take a ride to see what was available in the lot across the street. OH MY HELL! This lot, along with many, many vehicles was a MUD RUTTED, WEED CHOKED, SNAKE INFESTED, BITING BUG MESS. Are you kidding me? This is how this business is operated? A few truckloads of rock dumped in this lot would certainly make it more customer friendly but it appears that is not a priority at this location. We asked the "specialist" to take us back to the showroom, which he did. I pulled the salesman aside and told him we were leaving and exactly why. He thanked us for our time and away we went. Oh yeah, they still owe us the $25 gift card for the test drive. Ok, my advise to those that still want to shop here. Keep your expectations low, wear old shoes, long pants with the bottoms duct taped to prevent bug and snake intrusion, and apply lots of Deep Wood Off. GOOD LUCK!

I would suggest nobody to buy a car from this dealership. I bought a car this last month and my dealer was nice but... After buying the car..and I have pictures to prove the car was damaged when I bought it, I just so happened to over look them until I got home. The car came in damaged, the dealership supposedly did the work to fix it. After the paint started peeling off of my 2016 kia forte...a week later, I took it in to have it fixed. The dealership claimed they would pay 200 off of the paint job I should not have had to pay for. I received, after I demanded, a copy of the invoice. Ironically the invoice has mileage on it that was the same mileage as when they got the car in, well under the mileage from when I purchased the car. So two weeks after I got my car I had to pay for a paint job. And then come to figure out I actually paid for the old invoice from when the car was brought into the dealership. So I was told the certified, under all warranty vehicle I just purchased was priced accordingly. Had I known that I would have maybe looked at a different car instead of a car I was going to have to have repainted. When getting my car back it was covered in mud on the inside. I also have pictures of mileage from when I picked up the vehicle and pictures of the mud. Thats probably because they told me my paint job would be done at bev smith toyota, when actually it was painted at Georges garage down the road, where they park your car in the mud. I have never been treated so terribly, and stupid and disrespected in my life. So if you buy even a certified car from this lot, they do shotty work, then make you pay their old invoices..I will be posting this on any social media outlet I can to make sure no one gets ripped off like I did. I work in the service industry, have tons of clients and they are all being told of how crappy and dishonest this dealership is!
