I have a house Im selling. Its empty. I wanted Molly Maid to come and do a "One-Time" cleaning. On the website, I selected "One Time Cleaning". I was contacted by their call center to make a cleaning appointment. I asked how much it was and was told We just send a crew and clean it. They may send 2 or 3 people and itll be either $80 / hour or $120 / hour. I asked for an estimate of the amount of time to clean after I described the home in detail and was told "I cant give you an estimate". Not wanting to spend an unknown amount of money, on an unknown amount of time, for an unknown number of people" I told them to forget it. They said I could meet the local manager and get an estimate. I made the appointment. The morning of the appointment, the local manager calls me and tells me she cant give me an estimate by looking at the house. Really? Youre supposed to do this professionally and you cant look at a house, an empty house and see the condition its in and give an estimate for how long it will take a crew of 2 or 3 to clean the thing? That is simply unacceptable business. How do you know if youre getting your moneys worth if they DO come and clean? What am I supposed to do, just say "Come on over and take your time and do your best"? They could come into the home and do minimal work and take 2 hours or 8 hours doing it and charge me out the rearend for basically nothing. For a manager or supervisor to say that they cant look at a place and give an estimate of the time to clean is ridiculous. Why do they offer one time cleaning if they cant estimate how long itll take?? How do they schedule their crews if they dont know the amount of cleaning / number of personnel required to do a good job? Oh well - I learned a good lesson and I learned it for FREE! Im buying another place, Im a single guy, Ill be desiring a cleaning company to come in once in awhile to take care of the dusting / mopping / cleaning bathrooms etc. Guess who WILL NOT be invited to bid on the job?? Hahaha Good job Molly Maid - you just worked yourself out of a customer AND as the saying goes "Ill tell at least 10 more people what a crummy job you do just to get business". One last note - want to see something funny - look at the advertisement - "FREE IN HOME ESTIMATES" - what the hey????? hahahaha

Molly Maid called the day before my scheduled cleaning and left a messsage that they were going to increase the price for my home cleaning and would be coming for a "light" cleaning only. Our agreement was for a "thorough cleaning every time" per their ad., and to clean my house at an agreed upon price. To have a price increase on short notice, I thought, was unfair business practice. Service is consistantly not to my standards. They did a poor job in the bathrooms, dusting, and kitchen. After they left, I recleaned the toilets, and dusted living room. Kitchen counter services not cleaned. Fan broken. Office does not return my call, Still waiting for contact from their office to hear why and what this spontaneous increase in price/decrease in service proposal is. I think I will pass.

I been having Molly Maid to come clean my house a little over a year now and Im havent been Impressed by there cleaning at all. I have to Constantly tell them that they need to clean this and how to clean it right. My younger daughter said that all they did around the house was mop, Vacuum the carpets, and took the trash out. And they left. Lazy people In my opinion. I will be finding a better cleaning service.
