This review is very delayed as I had service done on our home in early September. I selected Maid Brigade after doing some online research and calling for some free estimates. It was not the cheapest (nor the most expensive) but I really liked the representative I spoke to on the phone (Carrie). This is my first time using a maid service and we chose to do this because I have a newborn child and it was too much to juggle with a full time job as well. Carrie was very clear in her explanation that the charge would be hourly and the actual charges could vary depending on the amount of time it actually took. The ladies arrived a little late to the front door (they may have arrived on location earlier but the supervisor was on a call so they did not immediately begin. Once they supervisor got off the phone, they did a quick tour and began working on the house. The supervisor made the point of mentioning at the beginning that she would be on and off the phone throughout the service - that they were not personal calls but calls she had to take as the supervisor. What bothered me about this later on (after giving it some thought), it really doesnt matter if the calls were personal or professional in nature. When you are paying for a service hourly, any time not focusing on the job shouldnt be counted as part of the time supporting - although I will say they seemed to be working pretty quickly. So as they were finishing rooms and moving on to other rooms, I was doing inspections and noticed there was still a significant amount of dust on the blinds (where i could visibly see it and if i swiped my finger, i could see where i wiped off the dust). I mentioned it to the supervisor and she redid them. I went up later to inspect and again the dust was still there. While i appreciate that they "guarantee" service, Im paying them hourly to redo the same thing 3 times so its not really benefiting me to have them correct their mistakes. When they were complete and left, there was no record of the time they started the clock and when they punched out - there were just charges on my credit card. It would be nice if you signed something to indicate when they started, when they completed before they leave so you have a sense for what youre going to be charged. All and all, they did a decent job not perfect. I decided after their service to try and do it on my own. Im now at the point where Im going to look at maid service again but will not likely go back to Maid Brigade.

The cleaning was okay, but they didnt speak English, or at least thats what they both told me when I tried to address them. I left and when we returned my strictly indoor cat was missing. We got that cat for my daughter as a reward for having straight As on her report card, shes heartbroken. If the maids spoke English I could have explained to them my concerns and about our pets. When I called to let the owner know, I had to speak to a manager who laughed the situation off. I told her they need to send at least one English speaking cleaner to their jobs. She told me that "bilingual people dont want to work". She then went on about how shes worked there 8 years and only missed 5 days. She said " bilingual people dont want to do the work the Spanish people do". She said "you wouldnt believe the disgusting and filthy houses they have to clean, bilingual people wont do those jobs". I couldnt believe she was saying these things to a client. Completely mindless of how insulting she was being. Dont use this company, I will never again, not only because of our cat but the ignorance of this manager.

OVERCHARGED and under performed. We signed up with the service 3 weeks ago. We were quoted $150-190 for a deep clean, where the crew was supposed to clean 2-2 1/2 hours. The crew cleaned for 75 minutes. After trying to collect $190, we questioned the time and amount and they ended up charging us $150. We setup a recurring Tuesday clean so that we could have a clean prior to Thanksgiving weekend. The Friday before, we received a call to reschedule our Tuesday clean to Monday or Wednesday. As a customer they did not honor the original commitment to clean on the agreed upon schedule, they wanted to displace a customer to accommodate others. Unfortunately, our schedule was not able to accommodate them, so we ended up canceling the service. For the two times that they did come, we were not overly impressed with the depth of cleaning. I cannot recommend them

The service I received from Maid Brigade was superior. I am very picky in regards to this type of service because it isnt something I do for myself often. I dont have the money to spend on this and when I do I tend to be picky and look over everything that was done, wanting to make sure it was money worth spending. I could not find a single spot that was missed! No shelf was too high or dresser too cluttered for them to dust. All of the things I dont have time to do or dont like doing was all done. Baseboards, fans, blinds, everything. It was money so worth spending because it was the gift of time to me and it was done thoroughly. I highly recommend maid brigade as a house cleaning service to anyone. They were very professional, courteous, and did a fantastic job.

Beware! Cleaning is sub-par for what you pay and customer service is terrible!!! Ive had multiple issues with them. Not only did they ruin a blazer of mine (looks like they splashed up bleach all over the back of it when it was hanging on the back of my dining room chair), but then they told me they wouldnt replace it or reimburse me. I get that accidents happen but you have to take responsibility and fix youre mistakes. They also charged me $50 to cancel their service even though I explained I didnt want them in my home if they were in the habit or ruining my things. *See story above. Oh, and they have yet to return our key and its been months since I fired them... Go somewhere (anywhere) else.

They charged me $190 for 2 hours 45 minutes of work. Pieces of furniture were left without being dusted. There was visible debris on my tile and wood floors and dog fur on the carpets and furniture. When I called the first thing they said was "we dont give refunds" and became frustrated with me because I wasnt willing to leave work and drive home so that they could send the cleaning crew back over. Very disappointed in the service provided not to mention the customer service. Eventually they did offer me a $15 credit.... and I cancelled my service contract.

We had a great experience with Maid Brigade. They arrived on time and did a terrific job. Management and all teams members seem to go out of their way to make sure you are completely satisfied with the service. I came over here to leave a review and noticed there was a $25 off coupon for your first deep cleaning if it occurs on M/T/W. We had our DC on a Tuesday so I called to see if they would honor the coupon after the fact...they said no problem and added a credit for our next service. Highly recommended!
