On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 the highest, we rate Betsy as a 10! Betsy is the best realtor we have ever worked with in over 15 home transactions over the years throughout the US for my Mother and I. Betsy sets herself apart in the following ways: - Professionalism (Betsy is the ultimate professional recognized in an elite group for her sales volume and knows the real estate, legal, marketing, and banking networks, laws and processes.) - Responsiveness (Betsy is always there for a fast response by e-mail, text, phone, or a knock on the front door at anytime of day for the client or any one related to the client like family, vendors or agents.) - Personal Attention (Betsy CARES about the clients and takes the personal time to get to know them to help improve their situation. She not only tended to our needs in selling the house, but found us a great Realtor in the new location and facilitated an easy house finding process in Michigan.) - Personal Touch (Betsy will go the extra mile for her clients as people. She has looked on on my Mother while I traveled in the move process, tracked me down when needed urgently for a home matter, coordinated with vendors for services after we moved out and the house was vacant from contract to closing, always had a great reference for any home matter when needed and even offered to take Mother to the grocery store or run errands when I was traveling. She also went so far as to care for a stray dog that had ended up at our house during the move process.) - Dedicated and Hardworking (Betsy works for her clients and is truly dedicated to them as people. Our house sold in only a few days after listing and the closing was seamless!) - Focused on family and community (Betsy is a long time resident of the Gainesville area, dedicated to helping others in the community and a dedicated mom.) I could go on, but you get the picture by now that she is the Realtor of choice for you in the Gainesville and Alachua area if you want to find or sell a house. The BOTTOM LINE is that Betsy seems to be in business to help people find and build a home (not just a house) in the area and its not about numbers and profit - with Betsy its all about serving and caring for the people! Dont even consider going anywhere but to Betsy at Pepine Realty.

We met Freddy Pierson through some acquaintances while I was interviewing at the University of Florida. While I was primarily focus on the professional opportunities my new job provides, choosing the right community and home was very important for my family. Freddy introduced us to Gainesville. During our first visit, he took us to various neighborhood, listened to our feedback and our needs. When we returned both I and my wife kept in constant contact with him. He provided us with listings that may suit well for our taste and our needs. Before we moved we already had several homes we had our eyes one. I was the first one who moved first in advance of my wife and kids. He met with me numerous times when it was convenient for my schedule: after work and on weekends. Not only he took me around homes, but also neighborhoods, shopping areas, parks and schools. When we finally decided on a home, he totally went into a different mode. He was overseeing every kind of detail, communicating with our lenders, arranging inspections, coordinating with the seller. It is no surprise that closing a home is a very stressful process. In our case, there were so many moving parts. Freddy was with us in every inch of the way. This was the most comfortable closing among all the closings we had. In fact, my wife literally bought this home on line, and after living in our home for 2 months it is the best home we owned so far. Freddy is a true gentleman. His professionalism is unparalleled. As a native of Gainesville, he knows the area well. We continue to keep contact with him at least once a week with questions such as “where the 4th of July fireworks take place to “who to contact for car insurance”. He is our first friend in Gainesville which we hope to grow stronger over the years in our new home town.

If you want a realtor who: - cannot be bothered to knock on your door or even call you, instead texts you and then just leaves if you dont hear the text message right away, - refuses to sit with you to write up an offer because she would rather do it on her own at home, doesnt care about any of the terms of your offer other than price, and makes the rest of the decisions on her own without asking you - cannot be bothered to pick up the phone and make a call to the seller to explain something on your behalf, instead expects you to acquiesce to the sellers every random whim, no matter how unreasonable - does not care enough to call and say, "congratulations your offer was accepted," or "the transaction closed today, the house is yours" and you have to hear about it from the title agent instead - cannot be bothered to deliver the keys to you, instead leaves it up to you to go to the sellers agents office to get them yourself, several days after closing - prefers not to receive your phone calls because they are way too busy to talk to you - takes all the joy out of the home buying process - if you want to be ignored, bossed around and told what to do to make THEIR life more convenient, THIS is the realty office for YOU!

I have lived at my current location for 1.5 years. During this time I have ridden my bike many times in my neighborhood streets. All this time, there has been a hand printed for sale sign at 3520 NW 33rd place. Six days ago, I noticed a realtors for sale sign and the other sign was removed. A few days later, I contacted the agent, Tina Yakel of Pepine Realty about the property because a friend is looking for a home in the area. She sent me several emails portraying a different house of a different street. When I asked how it was that she knew nothing about the home, she told me that actually, she had not gotten the actual papers signed yet because the owner was in a nursing home in another state. I find this conduct egregious and seem to violate the laws for listing a property, when you do not actually have signed paperwork. It also seemed egregiously predatory to send paperwork to a person in a nursing home. There is no way of knowing that this person is lucid enough to understand what she is signing and the fact that she has had the paperwork for awhile, leads me to believe she it not. This seems to be particularly egregious unethical conduct. You have to wonder what other shenanigans are going on.

Mark Gajda met with us before we were even serious about listing our house to advise us on the steps to take. Weeks later when we finally decided to list, he was there every step. Planning a wedding and listing a house simultaneously is very stressful, but Mark went out of his way so many times to make things easy. He helped us stage the house and made showings very easy, completely taking the burden off us. We listed a few days before the wedding and had an offer when we got back from the honeymoon. The thing that really made Mark stand out was how many hours he spent talking and looking at houses for us to buy. We looked at 20+ houses, and Mark was never too busy to talk or answer a question. He always had a great attitude and stressed how important it was to find the right house, no matter how many we had to look at. Selling and buying a house is stressful, but Mark did so much to help make the process go as smoothly as possible. We cant thank Mark enough!
