We had a great time. The place was exactly like the pictures. We really enjoyed our stay & Im sure we will be back. We enjoyed the pool and how close it was to the beach. The only thing we found was who-ever used the place before us had left many dirty dishes. Many of the dirty dishes we found looked as if they had been put away dirty. Also the water failed to drain properly in the dish washer, so if you didnt run the dishwasher daily it would start smelling. It looked like people had just dumped everything that was on the dishes right into the dish washer rather than rinsing anything off. There was food laying in the bottom of the dishwasher which we felt was probably plugging it so it didnt drain correctly. Its too bad Mother Nature had to bring in Tropical Storm Collen so we lost about a day & 1/2 due to all of the rain, but cant predict storms. The lady who came out to clean the pool on Tuesday after the storm was rather rude. We had cleaned most of the big palm branches out of the pool and any laying around the outside of the pool. All she could see was how full the pool was and what a mess it was in. She sort of took it out on us which was not our fault. Like we told her we could have left the entire mess, but we were eager to use the pool and did what we could to get it as clean as possible before she arrived. As for how full the pool was apparently she forgot how much rain had fallen. Other than than those couple of minor issues we had a great time and will be back again. Thank you.

We have stayed on AMI for spring break for the past 3 years and this is the first time weve used Island Real Estate to rent a house. I called to book the year prior because we know how fast properties go on AMI for holiday weeks and the person who found us the house was friendly and accommodating. They couldnt give us many specifics about the house (I know its hard to know what owners/people have left) but traveling from WI and not knowing what we might need to rent is a little tricky. We are avoiding that next year because weve booked the same house. We were really impressed with the service we got from Island Real Estate, upon arrival I called to see if there was anyway to get in the house early and the person who took my call was very nice, she checked to see if the cleaning crew was out which they werent but she said she would let them know we were on AMI and that she would let me know if the house was ready any earlier than 4:30 check in. I was totally surprised that on one of the busiest weeks of the year she actually called back and we were able to get in 20 minutes early (anything helps when you are from WI). During our stay we also had a slow drain in the master and the garbage disposals werent working - I called the maintenance number and the woman who answered was a little short but she assured us someone would be out. The maintenance guy was there within the hour and he was terrific! Thanks for the great experience and service! See you next year!

The house was immaculately clean, and well decorated. The beach was in close proximity, and shops and restaurants were very close by. The only problem with the property was the water temperature in the pool. It was so hot, it was like getting into a hot tub. I found the check in process at the office to be very complicated. We arrived a little early, and were told to get lunch, and we would get a phone call when the property was ready. The phone call never came, and when we returned to the office, the door was locked, and we had to search through a basket full of envelopes for the keys to our rental. I felt that this could have been handled a little better. Upon check out, we were offered some type of compensation to check out early. When I called to say that we would be leaving even earlier (the night before) I was told that we were not eligible for for the compensation. All in all, now that i know how the process works I may return in the future. Not because we didnt like it, but we generally dont vacation in the same place twice. Its a big world out there, and we want to see as much of it as possible.

7302 Palm Drive. As 1st time visitors to AMI, we were quite impressed by the helpfulness and service we received from Island Real Estate, both prior to and during our visit. The cottage was exactly as described and shown in the photos. There were a great number of amenities that came with the rental that I wish we had known about prior to our trip, as it would have cut down on what we hauled down (Grill, Beach Chairs)! It was well appointed and roomier than we had anticipated. Even though it sits on Palm, it is removed enough to feel like youre in a quiet neighborhood. An easy walk to the beach, made easier with the provided beach cart. One "complaint" is that the carpets really were in needed of a good cleaning. One last bit of advise. Rent Bikes!!!! This unit is perfectly situated to allow you an easy bike ride to either the shops and restaurants on Pine as well as the stores in Holmes Beach. We decided to rent the unit again for the following year before we had even left!

Island Real Estate/Anna Maria Island/7100 Holmes Blvd: We didnt want to leave! What an incredible experience we had at this location. The house was wonderfully decorated, very spacious AND it is just a block and a half from the beach. We had a wonderful walk to the beach each night to watch the sunset. The house is perfect in every way--great bedrooms with flat screen tvs/cable/dvd players, large kitchen, unbelievable outdoor pool area with a tiki hut IN the pool and a large patio with sun chairs, table of 8 to eat and a nice grill. There were pool toys and bikes available too! Anyone could have a good time in this house, but what made the whole experience perfect was the great staff at Island Real Estate. The staff didnt get annoyed when we asked questions about the area, what restaurants they recommended, or when I called to see how to work the state-of-the-art washer and dryer ha! I highly recommend this location and Island Real Estate. I wish we were all back there now!

We have been assisted by IRE with 4 different Anna Maria visits! We have always been extremely pleased with the professionalism, courtesy and friendliness of their staff. They have responded very quickly to any questions we might have as well as any additional information we might have required. During one visit there was a tropical storm and a leak occurred which required us to move. They promptly offered us several options and moved us within a very timely manner. This could have been a very unpleasant situation, but IRE handled it quickly and as painlessly as was humanly possible! So, we continued our stay and had a great time. This last visit (April 26, 2014) was particularly important to us as it was our 25th wedding anniversary celebration and we wanted to do it at Anna Maria Island...a very romantic getaway...our favorite beach! We had a great time! Thank you IRE for all your assistance, you will hear from us again! Connie and Jim Wilhite
