Dont come here. I had to tow my car and I was able to pick from many different mechanics and I choose pep boys due to my dads loyalty to the chain. big mistake. They ran a diagnostic of my car which I already knew a water outlet for my radiator had been damaged because there was smoke coming from there and a loose tube. I was charged $60 for this and would get that money credited to my service. They ran the diagnostic and it would cost six hundred dollars to fix my tube and they recommended to fix my thermostat. I asked "seven hundred dollars to replace a tube?" Apparently it was because of the labor cost. (it wasnt). They wanted to replace on the invoice the upper radiator tube $34.58 the lower radiator tube $44.92, the upper radiator tube $37.43. Basically just adding a bunch of things to my invoice and a thermostat replacement which was recommended but not necessary is what they told me. None of the tubes needed to be fixed though. Also for another $154.40 to remove and replace the radiator hose. And lastly, my coolant pipe for $58.35 which was the damaged part. I ended up getting a buddy from work to come and rescue my car with me. He did a temporary fix with a roll of duct tape. I was able to get home without overheating. Finally i made it home and ordered the part on amazon prime for $16.69 and my friend was able to replace it in under ten minutes. My friend is not a mechanic. I have no idea why pep boys wanted to bill me $700. To make matters worse I had a credit card fraud a week after i had to pay the diagnostic fee at pep boys. I am not saying that pep boys stole my credit card but I question the integrity of this store. The pep boys in sunrise and the pep boys in coral springs are great and highly recommended. This specific store is not worth your time.

I went to this shop about 3 times this year, only reason i go is because it 5 minutes away from my job, they always take long. I came around march to get an oil change and it took an hour when online states if you stay waiting inside for your car it will be done within 30 minutes. They also do not honor the appointment set up online they said there car dealership car are top priority than mine. So i went a month ago to get a new battery, i set up another appointment and they still took 45 minutes to change a battery and they put the battery on floor when you know that how battery lose their juice smh, like seriously at this point i didnt care no more since i was tried from a long day at work and did not have the strength to argue and i left. Then the next day i went to get a oil change and get my tire rotated since it comes included with service i picked. So i went and they took 1 1/2 hour to do an oil change even though i waited and online states only takes 30 minutes and they did not have oil i paid for either, im just fed up with pep boys, horrible service. They also forget to do my request of tire rotation. Then African American that was ALWAYS attends the front of mechanic area he is extremely RUDE and in the shop it states hes best with customer service yeah right. Let tell you why hes rude. I went up to him nicely and ask why was my tire no rotated he answer you never told me to do it, my reply was when i set my appt online i checked it off , did you read the service i choose on appt, he replied saying well since you did not tell me we wont do it, its like whats the point of online if you dont read people appt on the computer, even talk back very rudely i spent an extra 20 minutes shop just waiting. im just done with this shop

Ill start off with the service I got, The guy that serviced me was a little rude (like he had a bad day rude), gladly I was in a great mood that day, so I just brushed it aside. The main issue I had was the wait time. They told me my car would be ready in just 1 hour and 30 minutes. I was fine with that and I decided to wait around the store thinking it would be an even shorter waiting time, because it wasnt busy at all, there was 3-5 people inside the whole store. After a hour I noticed they didnt move my car, so I left and walked down the road to another store and lost track of time on purpose. I walked back to Pep Boys and my car was still parked in the same spot I parked it in. I was upset now because it has been 3 hours that my car has been parked at Pep Boys and nobody has even looked at my car. So I go and ask how long do you think it would be for my car to be done now, and the second guy that serviced me said "Oh youre right at at the top". "youre next" with an attitude. I left and I came back in about a hour or so, He never called but I ask was my car done and he said its done. He proceed to tell me a whole list of things dealing with my brakes that were bad and for Pep Boys to fix it, Itll cost around $500 I said OK cool, Ill be here later on in the week. I went not even that far down the road to another mechanic shop and they told me my brakes were fine and all I have to do is adjust them and they said they would do ALL of my brakes for $290 which is way cheaper then what Pep Boys offered me just for my rear brakes. -Gerrett

Es una falta de respeto ordene por internet,neumáticos para recoger en esta tienda.pickup día 08/15/2017 ,voy a recoger mi neumático y me encuentro con la sorpresa ,que según ellos tenía que traerlo de Miami beach y no se había hecho el delivery ,llamó por teléfono al otro día y nadie me contesta .me presento de nuevo en la tienda y me atiende el señor Carlos ,que precisamente,me había atendido el día anterior.y ahora me dice que no había llegado y le pregunto qué hacer en este caso ,y me contesta que no puede hacer nada,qu el no sabía nada al respecto.tuve que cancelar mi orden .al no tener alternativa niunguna.ES UNA FALTA DE RESPETO HACIA SUS CLIENTES .CLIENTE SÚPER INSATISFECHO.PEDRO TRUEBA.

DO NOT TRUST anything they do or tell you especially MANAGER EDGAR. They are schemers. I went in for 4 tires with installation paid for everything online I went in left my car for service and was told when I come back to get my car they will finalize it and print my final receipt. At the time of pickup I went in to get my keys and receipt and they tell me I have to pay the full total because I didnt pay online I called customer service while in store in front of them and customer service stated yes my order is paid for with my credit card I did not have to pay in store After all of this I still had to pay in store. I left called customer service back and asked about my order & was informed the store modified my order once I dropped off my vehicle, changed it from a web order to a in store order forcing me to be charged twice I had customer service email me a copy of that for proof and I called my bank and disputed one of the transactions DO NOT TRUST THEM please check your bank if you use a debit/credit card. If you leave your car please call them because they never called me I had to call them. The MANAGER is the schemer and the associates are in on it. Please just watch them if you do go there. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR REFER ANYONE due to my experience.
