HORRIBLE!!! DO NOT SIGN UP! THEY HAVE AN ANNUAL HIDDEN FEE THEY CHARGE YOU AFTER A COUPLE OF WEEKS OF SIGNING UP! THEN WHEN I CONTACTED CORPORATE THEY DID ABSOLUTLY NOTHING ABOUT IT! THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES ! SHAME ON THEM !! ALSO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION IS HORRIBLE !!! Helpful? Muy disgustada por que cuando tu vas a inscribirte no te dicen todo ,como es el 42th de Diciembre fui y me dicen que hay un especial de Navidad y no van a cobrar la membrecia solo los diez dolares a partir de Enero y me expllicaron varias cosas firme confiada en lo que me dicen y ahora resulta que me debitan de la cuenta $41.73 para el mantenimiento y nunca me lo dijo y lo que contestan es que en el contrato en las letras pequenas lo dice y yo quiero saber si todo el que va alli lee esto, son mentirosos y deshonesto para que no se dejen enganar.

I worked for Planet Fitness for two years back in 2012 and left due to corporate not being fair with me due to a disrespectful member. It has its pros and cons. I enjoyed being in management as I had a great set of staff but those who were above me need improvement! Isabel (current manager) was given the opportunity by me because I saw potential and it saddens me when I bump into members from when they signed up in pre-sales about how theyve had to cancel due to the poor customer service. Still surprising because when she was my employee, I found her to be very sweet and hard working but I know being in management is stressful because corporate asks for a lot which I can GUARANTEE they do not know how to do not even half of the work load. Nonetheless, STAY AWAY! Dont go cheap. You get what you pay for. Try other gyms. Don Shulas Athletic Club is amazing, some of the coworkers before left to LA Fitness & 24 Hours and found the work environment and the gym itself better. RISE is great too and affordable with awesome staff and Equinox is a great gym. As for Isabel, from back then, I am very happy she got this high position because she was friendly and great with customer service so if she has been off with people, its 99.9% chance corporate is pressuring her and the daily tasks can be so stressful. I really hope the company improves because I enjoyed my time and thought I would stick with the company for a long time until they allowed someone to disrespect not only me but two other female employees in derogatory terms.

I joined this gym a couple weeks ago. So far, its mediocre. Its true that the staff is not the perkiest, not rude at all but thats not what bothers me. The machines (weight machines by the front windows) are so cheap. The brand is horrible (cybex) which is fine for the cardio machines but not the weight machines. Its pretty much plastic. Poor quality. I wouldnt know about the ones in the back because i dont usually use them because the men keep them pretty busy. Its smaller than other comparable gyms. The gym is very hot at times. I made an appt. for the trainer to "design" a program for me but it was a waste of time. He just tells you to go to his class. If it is a gym geared towards first time gym-goers, wouldnt the trainers help you use the machines? Lastly, during their "peak hours," do not go! I went today and wow, it was so packed, people were in corners trying to work out. The weight section was barely usable. The people leave weights all over. I went to the new location in Plantation and it was amazing. Much bigger, better organized, better quality machines and the staff are really friendly. Only positive is the price and it is pretty clean. But I definitely wouldnt go out of my way to go to this location.

My member no. is 1051. I have a fractured foot and my membership was frozen on 6/11/15 after my accident. I am still in physical therapy and had my son call in to request that the freeze on my account be extended. He was told the gym would need a new doctors note which is not a problem at all - but that he would have to physically stop by the gym to drop off said note when a manager is available. When he asked if he could fax the note in he was advised the gym does not have a fax machine; when he asked if he could e-mail the note in he was told that was not possible; when he asked if he could mail (as in a letter with a stamp via the post office) the note in --you guessed it--he was told that was not possible. He had to wait and wait and insist to get the number to the corporate office. If this is the customer service that I am to expect when I am trying to recover so I can walk again -let alone workout- I would like to cancel my membership and I expect any cancellation fees to be waived. It is very telling that there does not appear to be an e-mail option to simply send the doctors note as an attachment - but the owner of the gym replies to comments of google. Go figure...

My experience has been horrible. Im currently a black card member. Two years ago I paid for my 16 year old nephew to have an account when I change my bank information I told them I will no longer need his account seeing that he was not using it. Now two years later he wants to open his own account and they are telling him that he has a balance of $157. Had we known his account was still active and being charged we would have corrected it two years ago...I live only two minutes from gym. Now he cant close his account or open a new one so he will keep getting charge. No one seems to can help us not the Manager or assistant manger and they are not allowed to give out the district managers info. This is really disturbing that a company is willing to continue charging a young man from 16 until God knows when for a service he is not using. Where are the moral values of this company? I try to file a complaint and was told someone would call...I am still waiting.

The manager Isabela there is so rude disrespectful unprofessionall she has no customer services skill I think she has a problem with black people because I notices she only give blacks a problem......then on top of that the machine u have to wait 20-30 minutes to work out and I pay my membership faithfully......Then corporate offices is unprofessionall also because they tell you they going to call you back and dont Ill just be better off finding me another gym and being satisfy Ill just go back to LA FITNESS THEY WERE THE BEST....IT NOT ABOUT THE MONEY YOU PAY ITS ABOUT BEING HAPPY SATISFY AND COMFORTABLE AND BEING IN A PEACEFUL WORK OUT PLACE.... HEY HELL NOT AT PLANET FITNESS IN MIAMI LAKES OFF 67TH AVE THEY NEED NEW MANAGER!!!!!!!!!!!SHE ALSO DONT LIKE TO LET MY GUESS COMES IN WHEN THEY ON MY CONTRACT.....SO WHAT THE PURPOSE OF HAVING THEM ON THERE WHEN THEY CANT ENTER....

Una gran basura,no iba regularmente pues no tiene diversidad de equipos para trabajar libre(banca de press)por ejemplo,pero me mantuve por unos 2 años,cambie mi tarjeta y al cobrarme un fee de 41 que no se me dijo, (al menos no se me notifico o no hubo aviso previo)me cancelaron y para volver me pusieron un recargo como si por alguna vez hubiese dejado de pagar,no me parece sea justo para un costumer de 2 años,fatal,YOU FIT ahi voyyyy....
