This was an ok salon. Very pretty inside. Teresa highlighted my hair - she did a nice job on the top, but I cant wear my hair up because the back and bottom were not taken care of as well as my last stylist. There is about 2 - 3 cm of my roots showing on the bottom and back so it would look very tacky to have my hair up. Teresa was nice, but the woman from reception came over and sat down to talk to her while she was doing my hair. For about 25 minutes, I sat there while they had a long conversation that had nothing to do with me. I thought that was a little unprofessional. The shampoo boy was nice, but there was a tiny bit of bleach left on the beck part of my head; I didnt notice until I got home and realized that it kept processing and now it is all tangly and damaged in that spot. So you are probably thinking, should they receive less than 3 stars with all of the problems. But they get three because the price, only $90 for highlights. I would maybe go to Teresa again and just explain a bit more of what to do with the back. the price is great, the salon is pretty, good parking, good products. Would I go here again, maybe. I think for $90 highlights you cant expect perfection anyways.

Ive been hopping around to different salons ever since my last stylist moved. I made an appointment Wenesday morning for the following day. Upon walking in, I was plesantly greeted and offered a beverage. The receptionist was a delight! Although I was early, my stylist Jessica was available to begin right away. She invited me back to discuss what I would like done with my hair and put my purse in a cubby so I wouldnt have to lug it around. Then it was a quick trip to the sink to wash my hair. I reclined back expecting a quick shampoo and condition. But this was DIFFERENT...the water temprature was perfect, Jessica took her time to massage my head and neck and then to add icing to the cake she put a warm towel around my neck while she conditioned my hair. I was in heaven! Back in Jessicas chair I watched as my hair came back to life after nearly a year of no love. My frizzy tangled locks are now ribbons of silk. Im so happy with the results and cannot wait to come back. My pocketbook is pretty happy too.

I never expected to stumble upon a gem this nice in the Sheridan Plaza, but the surprise only made my visit that much better! Not only is the salon beautiful, but the employees and the front desk staff are very welcoming. I must have been greeted by at least three different people within 2 minutes of being there, and thats very important to me. Waiting wasnt a big deal because the place smelt nice and it was busy so it was cool watching everyone do their thing. It was obvious that the staff was genuine and thoughtful, and that is not something you get to enjoy at most places. The girl at the front desk set me up with a new stylist (I think her name was Gabbi), at any rate she did a great job from start to finish... the shampoo was the best part, btw. She never rushed me through my service and she had a great personality. Definitely going back... in four weeks to be exact haha. Great place altogether!

One thing they dont tell you is that you have one week to let them know if you have any complaints about your haircut, hair color, etc. I was embarrassed to call and complain, but when I finally did, I was told that 3 weeks had passed and there was nothing they could do about it. This is after being a customer since 2009, at the Plantation location and the only reason I relocated was because my regular hairdresser had left. The salon is clean, the staff is friendly, but the customer service is not. Also, get a detailed receipt of your services, which they never give you one, you specifically have to be asking for it, prices go up and you dont know until youre paying the bill, just an FYI. Ive already found a much better salon and way cheaper.

I went in with my mom to ask for the price and procedure of getting her hair to platinum/white. The girl on the counter answered quite rudely that she would have to "grow it out" and that there is no other way. Mind you we have been at other hair salons that have told us their own ways to do so with minimal damage. They mentioned Olaplex and pravana. We have been looking around to see which hair salon would be best. I am extremely disappointed because I honestly expected this salon to be my top choice. I understand the procedure would have been more than one visit (for my moms hair type/color) and she was more than willing to go through. Sadly, I didnt get the girls name, but this was on the 1st of February at around 11:45am.

NOT WORTH THE OVERPRICED SERVICE, TIME, AND FRUSTRATION. I was taken advantage of and received HORRIBLE service. I called saturday morning to check availability for a blow-out. Their website lists blowouts for $30. However, on the phone they told me the service would cost $40 because the only stylist available was a MASTER stylist. I made the appointment. Once my hair was washed, I was told the actual charge would instead be $55 because my hair is long! ...And the master stylist was terrible. Roots are still wavy!

Surprised how rude the staff was. My daughter & I went in to purchase their AVEDA hair care line . Ask about hair services color etc. AVEDA in Weston & Aventura Mall (store not hair) have excellent customer service. If your looking to be treated awful then come to this location. Theyre rude to a fault. The other 2 locations their staff guest experience was wonderful. Recommend anywhere but here

I go to the location on Sheridan Street and absolutely LOVE Jessica, she is amazing and gives me exactly what I go in looking for every time. The whole staff is very genuine and always makes me feel comfortable and well taken care of. I recently moved about 40 minutes away from the salon but will make the commute to continue going only there!

Teresa is amazing. I am from out of town and needed a root touch up. I am a blonde and roots are not cute! Teresa listened and got me in right away and was one of the best colorist I have ever been to. My hair looks fabulous, and feels soft and healthly. It is hard to find people to do blondes. She is great. I highly recommend Teresa!

Carly was the stylist - quite possibly the most annoying experience of my life. She just bashed other salons and talked about her boyfriend the entire time. She was super confident that she knew exactly what to do with my hair and then completely messed up my entire head. Id never go back to this place again. Bad experience. Bad haircut.

After 7 years of not coloring my hair I looked for an aveda salon per the recommendation of a close friend. I went into this salon very scared and anxious. My hairdresser Jillian was great, she did exactly what I wanted, was nice and attentive, also her blow dry was beautiful. I will definitely recommend this salon and Jilllian.
