I have known Danny Locke for a long time and when I needed a roof, I naturally turned to him. I knew he was an upright guy even before we did business together. I have also experienced first hand the soft spot he has in his heart for making a difference in the community (he volunteered for a social program I ran and was very active in it). I obtained several quotes and Dannys was the best. That pleased me because I already knew I wanted to use his company for the roof work. I know and trust Danny whereas I dont know the other guys so it would have been harder to trust them. Danny explained my choices along with the processes that would occur. The only unknown was how much, if any, rotten wood would be present. Naturally, that is a question every homeowner will face when undertaking roof work. Dannys finance guy contacted me and offered an interest free loan via a credit card (12 month term). Interest free!!! That is a no-brainer. The crews were on-time, did what they needed to do, cleaned-up, and left behind a job well done. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience. I would have never imagined anyone would notice a new roof; however, a few people on the street have already told me how good the roof looks. I agree, it really does look good. Remember that soft spot I mentioned earlier? Danny shared a personal story about a Safety Patrol student who couldnt afford to make the Washington DC trip; the highlight of the year for the troops. Danny decided to cover the expenses for this one student. From that experience, Danny set up a program to send one or more Safety Patrol students to Washington who wouldnt be able to afford to go. It is being funded with $100 from each roofing job. Im not surprised. I may sound like a cheerleader for Danny and Locke Roofing, and I guess I am because my experience was just as I wrote it here. But knowing Danny the way I do, I believe I received the same service as anyone because that is just the way he is. Bill David

My elderly step mothers roof was replaced with this "company". Hes listing him self as rated #1 in Northeast FL, According to the city of Jacksonville building department hes only done 9 roofs total since opening and his "#1 rated business "was established December 15th 2014. I have not seen a rating or any awards for this company. Not one single person on the crew spoke any English and the crew looked like they were racing to get the job done and finished it in one day. I understand now how they finished the roof in one day, No inspections were done by the city. After reviewing building department website, 4 of the 9 jobs hes completed have not been inspected. I do not know if her roof is any good, or if what he promised is what she got. After more checking, i found that his "office" is in a rented house he lives in. Is that legal? My mother is very worried and very concerned.

Daniel Locke and his crew are very professional and do great work. I own a historic home in Springfield and Locke Roofing took care of all the historical permitting and historical requirements in order to replace the roofing on my front porch. His crew took all the necessary precautions by laying tarp down to catch all the debris from the tear off and to protect the home and landscaping. Once they were done, you could not tell that they had worked on the house other than the brand new roof. I would definitely recommend Locke Roofing for residential roofing projects.

I texted Dan on at about 8 pm on Thursday 1 Sep as outlying bands from TS Hermine were moving through. My metal roof was leaking significant amounts of water because of loose pressure screws and flashing. Dan came out the next day, and arranged for his metal roof sub to come fix the roof on Saturday. They did an excellent job fixing a number of problems. Very professional, excellent response and very good pricing. You cant beat him.

They were always on time for appointments. Their work is second to none and done exactly when they said it would be. When the work was complete there was no sign that they were even at my house other then the new roof. We were amazed by how smooth the process was. I couldnt have asked for a better experience.
