My review is for Amanda Searle ( Realtor) and to further comment on the review given by Jane Entenza. My experiences with Amanda have been nothing but positive. She is very thorough and actually keeps me on my toes as a lender with requiring updates and status reports to keep within the contract terms and keep her buyers in the loop. She expects nothing less and I am glad she trusts me to work with her clients. The review from Jane Entenza is a little harsh and not entirely accurate. I was the lender of record on this purchase, with Alvin Clark as the buyer. I normally do not have much interaction with the seller and only had limited interaction with her listing agent. Sure there was a typo on the appraisal but that is not something Amanda would normally review. It was addressed went back through the proper channels to get corrected . Unfortunately these simple items take some time due to all the protective measures and layers of compliance we have to go through in order to close a loan these days. Any other delays were waiting for WDO items to be repaired which took weeks and again to follow proper protocol the appraiser has to be re-assigned through a 3rd party to go back out verify these items were repaired. This takes time and red tape. The last hold up was the electrical panel box that was not up to code and was affecting buyers ability to obtain homeowners insurance. Buying or selling a home in todays environment is not fun or easy. It can go really bad or really good. Having an agent like Amanda on your side will assure she will try and make it as smooth as possible and navigate the rough waters.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY... Worst experience ever with a realtor. Tamera (Kaye) Gomez was completely unprofessional. Insisted she had experience with short sales but insisted using comparables that in no way comparable to my property. When an offer came in, she lied to the buyer telling them there were multiple offers on the table in order to force them to raise their price. When I refused to accept the offer, she literally SCREAMED at me on the phone until I hung up on her. She then sent me an email stating she was expiring my listing. Luckily I was able to find a realtor who knew what he was doing and my sale went off without a hitch. I contacted the broker at Magnolia who didnt even care about how horrible her staff was and made no offer of remedy to me. I learned a valuable lesson, check the reviews on your realtor! Oh, and dont use facebook. I saw some bad review on Magnolias facebook page one day, and the next day they took down the review section. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY...

My agent Amanda Searle was extremely helpful during a lengthy house hunt, and then the entire buying process. She would make arrangements to show us homes at a moments notice due to my hectic work schedule, and was early to every meeting. She is knowledgeable, and and was always quick to respond to our questions (we had a LOT as first time buyers). We looked at many homes and had our share of obstacles to overcome, (unmotivated sellers, wacky agents, and homes with hidden problems etc) but Amanda assisted us through them all. When we found the home we loved, we experienced some delays with the purchase due to no fault of our agent Amanda, but due to delays caused by the lender appointed appraiser. The sellers agent wasnt forthcoming with a lot of information and wasnt completely honest with the seller about the situation and caused some confusion, but Amanda helped us through it all. Im grateful for Amanda Searl and Magnolia Properties. Many thanks from the Clark Family. We love our new home and our new neighborhood!

In a recent transaction, Amanda Searle was the realtor for the buyer. If it had not been for my realtor, the closing would have never happened. My realtor met the appraiser, the inspector, the Septic Tank pumper at the house. There were closing delays that were due to lack of efficiency by. Ms. Searle. My name was spelled incorrectly on the appraisal (she should have caught that) My realtor caught the error which meant the loan approval was delayed. In the week before the scheduled closing, my realtor was in contact with the lender and the closing agent to get all the documents corrected so the closing could take place. The afternoon of the scheduled closing, Ms. Searle had a walk though with her client without informing my realtor. At the closing agents office, Ms.Searle was so rude and unprofessional that I walked out of the closing. Terri Croft, the closing agent, moved the buyer and Ms. Searle into another office so that the closing could proceed.

A terrible experience that nearly left me homeless! Alea our agent had an appointment set with us to sign for our dream apartment downtown. We wanted to move mid month but she asked us to see about leaving earlier and we got approved to vacate the 31st and move into our new place the 1st. We were thrilled! Then she canceled the meeting and rescheduled for another day, we were still happy to sign and move but 24 hours before we were supposed to meet she sent a TEXT to let us know she rented the property to someone else and we would need to find somewhere to live in the next 5 days. I have one day left and things are grim. Alea said she would help us find a place but hasnt even sent an email, text, or list of rentals to look at. No regard for humans at all!!

As a renter, my experience with this team was spotty at best. The staff is not cohesive, and they are unprofessional and unresponsive. The house I rented was fine, but once I moved in, the response to maintenance requests went ignored. In recouping my deposit (which is still outstanding), although it all comes back to me, they dropped the ball on the refund process and then did nothing to try to expedite it once I filled up on it, nor will they overnight the check once it comes into the office next week. As a renter, I would never come back to them to buy or sell a house. IMO, this is not a way to treat a (could have been) continued client. I hope they feel the desire to get their act together and make a truly professional and dynamic business.

I would be here all day trying to explain all that Connie Lowery has done in regards to helping me and my family buy our first home. Going above and beyond is not even close to what she has done. One of the most caring, thorough, and knowledgeable person I have met thus far in her line of business. Constantly keeping things and everyone in the know on all aspects of this transaction. I was VERY blessed to have her as my Realtor and will be sharing her card with EVERYONE I know that wants to buy a home. Thank YOU Connie for your AWESOME work and to Magnolia for having such a WONDERFUL person on their staff!!! May you all be blessed as you have blessed my family! WE LOVE YOU!! :)

I listed a property for sale by owner recently and was contacted by Susan Sanders as she has an interested party. From the onset, Susan was upfront, honest and easy to contact with any questions. Even though she represented the buyer, she also looked out for our best interest and was open with all parties. Extremely professional, thorough, honest, and genuinely a nice person. If I ever sell a property in the future, I would use Susan. We closed within 45 days without a hitch. Everything was seamless and we were guided through the entire process and kept informed the whole time. Definitely a worthwhile contact in the real estate market in Jacksonville!
