In the first week of May 2016 my 14 year old Water Heater stopped producing Hot Water. It was a gradual change and as showers got shorter and shorter I knew a replacement was in order. That being determined I started to call around the area to get quotes from plumbing services, as well discussing with my neighbors about their lessons learned having a Water Heater installed. What I found out was if you dont ask the right questions many companies will not offer the important information a homeowner needs. I called and had had two in home evaluations to determine price and each start off the same and then drastically change increasing cost to the homeowner. Some of the things I learned was the "Department of Energy" (DOE) have established regulations that can impact the resale of your home if installations like this Water Heater are not done properly. There are standards that need to be followed and Permits (Based on County or City) on that need to be "Purchased" and if you live in an older home Electrical concerns that may require you to Higher an Electrician to update your current setup so your water heater is installed to safe standards. After learning about what questions need to be asked and getting a better understanding of the process, I made my decision to have Admiral Plumbing perform my home installation. I got an initial price estimate over the phone that was very helpful and actually very similar to other companies I spoke with. The real cost will happen when you have the technician in your home. I had one home visit (By Another Company) that started out with a "Standard Price" that was within $20 of just about anywhere you go for an installation. Then the salesperson/technician start to add in other costs and from my experience is not helpful for the customer. When it comes to the permits, inspections and or other services that come later in the evaluation in most cases almost double the initial cost or quote you may get over the phone. With Admiral Plumbing Services their evaluation is easy for the customer to understand and follow, so you know exactly what you’re paying for. Another thing is they come with all the tools and equipment needed to do the job. They arrive at your home with a new water heater (information determined from initial phone call), after evaluation they consider your home situation to determine exactly how the installation has to be performed. This step is the most important because it will determine the cost of the installation. For most people this is the part that will take you by surprise, so I say learn what questions need to be asked and ask them before making your decision. * What is the cost of the NEW Water Heater? * Is there a Warrantee on the Water Heater? * Is there a Warrantee on Admiral Plumbing Services Installations? * Does my installation require a Permit? * Does my installation require an Electrician? * Will the installation require a Post Inspection? * Does your company stand by their installation? All of these questions were answered by my Admiral Plumbing Technician "Tony T." who I can’t say enough good things about his craftsmanship and service. My situation was not a normal one and required adjustments to make the system fit in the location. Although it did take some time I am very pleased with his work. He cleaned up after himself, was respectful in my home and took away all trash and even the old water heater without leaving any mess. The price although justified by Admiral Plumbing Services was required; it not being what I expected is the only reason to not give 5 Stars. To be clear, I knew the final price before any work was performed by Admiral Plumbing Services. I would recommend Admiral Plumbing Services for a home visit quote if you are in need of emergency services. I hope this review helps those in a similar situation as I was looking for Service Done Right the First Time.

I would like you to add this letter as well. We’re neophytes when it comes to plumbing; Matt reassured us of any reservations we might have had in proceeding with this work. At the time we had two other estimates (one considerably less); However, Matt explained it to us the rout of replacing the cartridge as opposed to installing new diverters, and why though more expensive we should do the latter. With exceptional diligence and patience he described cutting the cultured marble panels to get to get access (something not explained by the other contractors). Taking the additional time to put us at ease, coordinate the purchased items, discussing his plans and the dollars it would take, took a considerable amount of time. Matt’s time, effort and patience while helping us needs to be applauded. I am sure Matt is a great asset to your team, and that you recognize the value of such an employee. Please commend him for us. On Fathers Day I had a sewer backup in my town home, which I purchased in Sept of 2016. Frantically I looked up numbers for plumbers, as I had just moved to Florida and did not know who to call and resided in my new home only 9 months. I found Admiral and immediately they dispatched Eric G. to come out and help me. He found that there were roots in the city side of the take out pipe and saw I was frantic and asked if he could place a call for me, which I accepted. From that point going forward, it was a whirlwind with a mitigation company and the city. Today Eric came out to replace the expansion tank on the HWH and explained the age of the heater and the corrosion so I decided do not play with fate at this stage and asked him to replace the entire HWH with expansion tank. He did a fabulous job, just like the first time he came out and helped me in time of need. Very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this company to anyway who needs an excellent, reliable plumbing company to perform any work needed in their homes. Never disappointed! Great Job Eric!

Admiral Plumbing comes through again! As soon as I called to report a problem with my food waste disposer and hot water heater, they sent someone over within 2 hours. Miguel, the service tech, was on time, and diagnosed the problems, and explained many options, and quoted prices, not only for the food waste disposer, and hot water heater, but also a new shower head and outside main shutoff valve. He had everything sent over or already had it in his van, and completed the jobs in a timely manner. We even shared our love for, and faith in, Christ Jesus, while he worked. Anyone willing to not be ashamed of Jesus like Miguel (and I), is to be appreciated. And to be able to work in a professional and productive manner, with a friendly attitude, and knowledgeable explanation of all of my questions, Miguel deserves to be recognized and rewarded. Miguel exceeded all my expectations. He checked all repairs to make sure everything was just right, and even cleaned up all work areas thoroughly. I will recommend Admiral Plumbing to everyone I meet, and tell them to ask for Miguel.
